Astounded at the arrogance and ignorance of this guy and his wife. Dan and Kandi happily take your money and leave you to do all the work yourselves. Cherry on the top? - They don't move lawn furniture. They mow around it leaving a lump of high grass. This is AFTER it has already been mentioned and they were specifically asked to please put a table and chairs back where they go when they are done mowing. They also don't bother to pick anything up that happens to be on their lawn and run the mower right on over it. They don't do edging and just leave the area the mower wont butt up to growing wild. It's hard to believe they run an actual landscaping company. An installed "lawn" they did recently, they did not grate or remove anything but giant rocks. The smaller rocks just got hay tossed on top with seed. Rocks will likely be kicked up by the mower and if they damage my car, they will see me in court. ProCutProplow advertises in our church bulletin so we assumed it was a reputable company. They don't have anyone answering the phone if you have a problem and really don't seem to care. They will take your money and never plow your driveway. The owner was full of smart remarks, no apologies, for not plowing or returning our phone calls. For example..."Davey Tree doesn't answer phone calls on the weekend either." Also, when I told him, I'm a 64 year old female, I finally had to shovel the driveway when we had already paid his company in advance. His response was, "Well, I'm 45 and I've been shoveling ALL weekend." Since we had not yet received ANY service from ProCutProplow, I requested to cancel any further service and just refund our $275.00. The owner then gave me some BALONEY about how we bought insurance not a service. I would also give this company a big fat ZERO if it were possible. Total scam! I was very impressed by Dan Novak's timely response when I initially had contacted him for plowing 2018/2019 season. We paid him $300; I was *very specific* in my request for quote and services and was assured I had no worries . Dan said they plow over 2". The snow storm a couple weeks ago; my boyfriend and I shoveled ALL of it ourselves as Dan Novak was nowhere to be found and was not returning my calls/texts/emails. When he finally did reply, he sent me a copy of what his guys had sent him, saying all routes were done. Lie. I told Dan that we have security cameras on front of house and at no point did anyone come. I've not heard a single thing back from him. I sent him an email / text asking him to just refund the difference in what we paid versus the 2 times he did come out previously and have gotten no reply. I sent him a certified letter w/documentation on January 23rd; and it was delivered to his house January 25th. Still no reply. I would highly discourage anyone from working with this company on any level. He'll get your business, take your money, and maybe you'll get part of what you expected but nowhere the level of professionalism that would be expected. VERY DISAPPOINTED - read more

I agree with Laura P. I would put 0 stars if I could. He basically stole my 91 year old mother's money and will not plow her driveway or give her money back. We will be taking the next steps to try to get her money back but hopefully he won't defraud anyone else. read more

I wish there was a 0 star option. I have nothing good to say about this company. Usually I can find one nugget of good even with a bad experience - not here. I mistakenly paid $275 up front for a plow contract over the winter. I should have known that price was too good to be true. -Dan Novak (owner) doesn't return phone calls unless you call or email multiple times -They don't plow without us having to call and ask -When they do plow, it's always after I leave for work in the morning (which was discussed with Dan prior to me paying) rendering their services useless -Dan would not give me a refund after I was very unhappy with their (lack of) service. -I was told multiple times after calling to find out where they were, that there wasn't enough snow. There was over 4 inches. -Dan hung up on me -I filed a claim on the BBB and received NO response from them. I have no idea how this company is in business. If they treated me this way, I'm guessing they treated others the same and these 5 star reviews are from family and friends. STAY AWAY!!! 3/2/15 - Update: My husband had to shovel our entire driveway in order for me to go to work this morning. We had a bad snowstorm with about 6" of snow in Hudson. Sadly, our experience has been similar to Laurie P's. We were interested in hiring someone different to plow this winter and ended up choosing ProCut ProPlow despite their quote being a bit higher than others we solicited. We accepted that, residing in Hudson, we wouldn't be at the start of their route. What we couldn't know is that, during our three heavy snow days so far, they would arrive at 2:45 p.m. (late), 10:45 a.m. (acceptable), and NOT AT ALL (today). I ended up spending an hour shoveling today since the snow was 4-5 inches and climbing. The company has limited phoning hours, no cell phone number provided, and no responsiveness except before we hired them, when Dan Novak said, "we hope to earn your business." I am thinking that really meant "we hope to get money from you." Possibly their bread-and-butter is plowing commercial sites, not outlying residents. In any case, we will not repeat this mistake with SnowBut NoPlow. read more
