Wow... MA Fitness was gross inside, smelly, and is in no way following current public health…read moreguidelines. I took a free trial class tonight and this was the least clean gym I've been to in trying 10+ group fitness classes this season. Cleanliness wise - they are not requiring any masks anywhere in the facility, even for staff sitting at the front desk or when customers walk in. This was described to me as "its up to you" to wear one or not, but clearly they do not care. There was no symptom or temperature check at all, and I did not see any cleaning products or sanitizer anywhere. The bathroom is dirty and appears to be half finished, with toilet paper sitting on a dirty counter. The carpets are stained and it smelled like a 90s gym. You have to be barefoot and my feet were caked in black after class - absolutely disgusting. The front desk person (I think?) spent most of class talking to someone else right up close without a mask and seemed annoyed with having to help me put on wraps. The workout itself was okay - I wore a mask the entire time and kept to myself away from others, but there was little variety and lots of the same ab exercises over and over again. Screamo rock music isn't my thing either. The instructor did not provide corrections on form and went around trying to keep people distant by moving the bags, but there wasn't much point. I will not be back.

New kickboxing gym in town but they have a few branches in Florida as I was informed. Owner/staff…read moreare so nice and accommodating. Tried the free class and signed up for the membership after. Awesome workout if one would want to change it up like me in between running, spinning and lifting weights.

I was in the Loveland area visiting with my family and wanted to get some training in. Emailed the…read moreschool to find out if there was a drop in fee and sign any waivers before coming in. Jen contacted me pretty quickly and we exchanged several emails before I was finally able to get some free time to come in. The school is very nice and was told it was the newest location for their organization. They really put in the effort with the aesthetics of the facility and it had a really relaxed welcoming vibe. Professor Todd has some great taste in music and it really added to the overall mood of the class. Instruction from Professor Todd was clearly explained and I could tell he had a curriculum for his students which he referenced to other classes during the week. This Sat class was an hour and we went over a base top position into a several guard passes which went into a back take. I liked that Professor Todd showed a particular technique, but gave a lot of potential options to explorer if different scenarios came up. This was good for the beginners work on the basics, but also gave the upper belts options to play with when it came to drilling the same technique. The details he provided were great and I was able to pick up items that I will take with me for my training. Students at the school were very friendly and rolling during the open mat was challenging. There were about 20+ students that were in the class and about 15+ that stayed for open mat. A big mix of male and female ranks participated in the class from white belts all the way to brown belt. Really enjoyed my time there and will visit again next year when I'm in town. Thanks Professor Todd and Jen for the great training and congrats on the new location.

I had a bad experience with this business and now every time I drive by this place, I feel myself…read moregetting upset. So I finally decided to "get even" and write a review. My husband and I bought some adult fitness packages (punch passes) for like $400+ around January 2013 for some group kickboxing classes. When we signed the contract, it said "no refunds". However, I found out I was pregnant in March 2013. (I obviously had no clue when we bought the packages). Since the classes are pretty high impact and intense, I only used a couple of the "punch pass visits". The package definitely wasn't cheap, and I felt like it was a complete waste of money at this point, so I thought I would call the owner and discuss some options. I knew I wasn't going to be able to get a complete refund because I signed the contract. However, I was hoping he could just extend the expiration date, so I could just attend after I had my baby, or offer a partial refund, or something. Here are where my complaints come in.... 1) I called the owner like four times in a month to discuss my options (left a couple messages) and got no response!!!! I thought the owner was just filtering my calls since I was asking for a refund of some sort. But he eventually called me back and said he "was out of the county for a while". So why didn't he put an "away message" on his phone stating this? That's pretty common practice these days and really easy to do. What a terrible way to run a business!! It was extremely annoying! 2) the owner absolutely refused to work with me and offered me no refund of any kind and didn't even just say I could come a couple times for free after I had my baby. I know he wasn't obligated to do this for me, and I did sign a contact. But it just seems like the right thing to do. And if he would have done that, I might have become a repeat customer and bought another punch pass. But I can tell you I am definitely Never stepping foot in that place again after this experience, and he will never get a dime from me for my kids taking karate classes from him. I definitely feel like I got ripped off!!! I felt pressured to buy the package in the first place (I thought it was expensive and kind of binding and I should have just followed my gut instinct). And I can't believe he was so unwilling to work with me on some sort of refund. Anyway, I thought I should caution anyone looking into this place for your kids or yourself. Be aware!
