I had a massage from the "second best of Carson City," and it was the most painful, unpleasant massage I've ever had. Now, I've finally found the actual best masseuse in Northern Nevada. Jennifer is the real deal. She truly cares about healing your body. She asks me specific questions in her desire to get to the root of the problem. With each massage I've had she refines her approach to my particular issue, as opposed to giving generic massages. And each time, I feel better than the one before. She is intuitive, wise, kind, and professional. She's also incredibly strong if you prefer deep tissue. I go for a massage every two weeks with the same person for the last 18 years, but I was given a gift certificate from Massage with Kaitlyn. I can tell you she will be my fill-in and if there ever comes a time when my current massage therapist retires she will be my choice. I highly recommend her and she also works with veterans so if you are a veteran and you get a prescription from your doctor, her fee will be paid for by the VA. She was very sweet, but her skills left a lot to be desired. This wasn't like any other massage that I've ever had and I get them frequently. She spent most of the time on my back doing the same stoke over and over for probably a half hour to 45 minutes , and there was no variety at all, and she never even touched my feet which is my favorite part. Most of what she did was pushing down on my arms and legs or using her elbows on my back in a sweeping stroke. That wasn't even the worst part! I paid her in cash and she insisted that I give her a bigger tip than I had planned on. Normally I tip generously, but she didn't do a very good massage so I wasn't going to give her much based on that. Not only did I get a crappy massage but got bullied into giving her a bigger tip, I've never ever been told that I WILL give a tip in the first place and then had someone argue with me for more! If you want a good tip then do a good job! I will not be returning to this business and will stick with the places I know.

I didn't mention any problem areas specifically or for her to pay particular attention to a certain area, but when I asked about it Marilyn told me she ran out of time. It is not my responsibility to watch the clock and I was a bit put off by this. I do get massages on a regular basis and this is a first for me. This is not a full body massage in my opinion and I will not be returning.
