She's been great and I was so impressed with the experience I had with this rescue that I started volunteering there. The rescue takes in mostly German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois from puppies to seniors and from various backgrounds - strays, owner surrenders, from other shelters (some on the e-list), medical hardships, etc. Once under SPRA care the dogs are well fed, are walked and/or get play time outside of their kennels 4 times a day, receive medical care if needed, etc. The volunteers and staff also work with the dogs on socialization and basic training. It's also important to know that SPRA is a no kill shelter. Bottom line, if you're looking for a German Shepherd or Belgian Malinois please check out Saving Paws Rescue Arizona. But once I got there, I saw they had all their paperwork clearly posted, and the people were warm, responsive, and genuinely caring.
