I guess I could have used a credit card to pre-load one of their cards, but I see that as an impediment to just coming in to dry my clothes. It looks like their rates increased as well. I called their number as they described for help. 24 hours later and still no response. This location has made it more difficult to do business. I'm going to go elsewhere.

She had opened the door to the dryer she was using and smoke was billowing out. Not steam, but smoke. The smoke began to get thick in the laundrymat so we opened both the front and back doors. It was that bad. The lady's clothes were literally being burned up in the dryer. She began to slowly pull out some of her garments and put them into one of the rolling carts. The stench was intense. Two or three of us called the number posted above the washing machines. About 30 minutes later, a person who identified himself as the owner arrived and came inside. As to this next part, again, if I have not heard this, I would not believe it. The owner actually had the nerve to claim the ladies clothes caught on fire because she was using the high setting on the dryer. He explained that it's important to read the labels on clothes so this doesn't happen. Even though this was a ridiculous statement, I piped in and asked if that was the case, then where are the warning signs about this danger posted in the laundry mat ? The owner immediately changed the subject and said all of the dryers were inspected a couple of weeks ago, and they were all just fine. Obviously, there was a serious problem with this particular dryer, but the owner did not want to take any responsibility whatsoever. Everybody in the laundry mat could've walked out, and just let the place burn up, but the owner did not seem to have any appreciation for that. I left my number with the lady and she reported back that the owner finally paid a reasonable amount of money for the destruction of her clothes. Perhaps the owner overheard me advising the lady on how small claims court works. Be careful if you do business at this laundromat.

I just hate it when businesses don't live up to their store hours, but at any moment or the bat off and eye, closes before actual closing time, no matter how it make affect others. At 8 PM, I do expect that i would be locked out/ assed out!!!- my fault. but 5 mins is more then enough time to grab my things from the dryer and be out.

My experience there was great. The pants are the perfect length. The stains and odor from the dress were removed. The bulky sleeves on the otherwise summery dress were short and fitted. Some people may know their way around Athens and not need directions. For everyone else, I'll write how to get there. This place is off Atlanta Highway. If you turn away from Panera Bread at the red light, the cleaners is on the right as you ascend the hill. Then you can stop for a sandwich afterward.

Owner refused to return phone call and argued with us about their incompetency. Would NOT even call my wife to apologize! More loyal to employees than customers.
