I remember a discussion with the lady in financial (I can't remember her name) but I was stressed and she went and told my mom that I'm so "sensitive". I felt that was unprofessional to comment. Everyone responds to things differently. Maybe don't be insensitive. ‍ The site of the program also doesn't give you the EXACT total cost of every little thing. read more

Took the EMT course here and absolutely got my monies worth. And anyone who puts time and real effort into the class will and pass. Those who does not pass did not put in the work. It's not easy by any means but the instructors Wagner and the assisting instructors (Bryan & Natasha) are very patient with the students who may not get it first time around. They are good about working with a person with a learning disability. I have dyslexia and am a auditory learner so it's extra work for me but worth it! Had Marcus Wagner as my main instructor and he's a phenomenal teacher. Super smart about putting medical things that could be dull and hard to learn into a fun, humorous, engaging classroom experience. He is fun and truly funny. If you don't learn what he's teaching - you're not paying attention. He likes the student to engage and ask questions. And TRUST ME he answered all the questions from us crazy student. Smart smart dude. Expert Tip: learn your acronyms ASAP! They will be in tests!!! And the participation grade is easy to keep you over the top of you struggle a little with the tests. They have a app for grading and assignments that is very convenient for the students. Your grade and what you received on quizzes, tests, homework and participation are available in black and white at your fingertips. Wagner is very very good about getting the grade to the student that day so you know where you stand and where you need to improve. If you're a good student study for approx an hour a chapter - for me slower learner it's about 2/3 hours if done right. This school is not prepared at all. Very disorganized and they keep having the same mandatory orientation a few times. We were told the LVN program would start January 23rd and they postponed it until June 12, 2023 (very unprofessional). They made the decision without sending any updates to the students that paid in advance. No one was told at all. read more

This place is horrible. They charge and charge, have to have your credit card on file to continue your class. They are slow and don't move you through class. They will cancel labs on you and delay your externships. If you write a bad review they tell you it's grounds for termination. Spend your time and money somewhere else! read more

I took my first BLS class today at this location. The class was very straightforward. You watch videos then practice on manikins. You also work in groups. The instructor I had was Marcus Wagner and he was great. He made the class fun and interesting. If you make any mistakes he corrects you in a professional manner. I have been taking BLS and ACLS Renewal courses for healthcare providers at First Lady Permanente for many years. They used to be located on Main Street and moved to their new facility on Geer Road several years ago. Their new location is really nice - it is spacious, super clean and is in a convenient location. The staff I have encountered have been kind, professional and helpful. They want you to understand what you are learning so you can pass your tests and they explain things very well. I particularly like Jo Sokolo for ACLS Renewal and Marcus for BLS Renewal. Additionally, they kindly offer coffee, have a really cool water dispenser and nice bathrooms. Parking is easy and secure. I like that I can sign up and pay for classes easily online. I intend to continue using First Lady Permanente for my renewal courses. read more

Easy to find classes that work for you; however the front desk I believe they are the owners are a bit rude and abrupt. I called to ask a simple question as we were told to look out for an email within 30 minutes I know when I get busy I tend to forget if I don't keep an eye within that time. It was about 45 mins since our class was out and so I called to make sure but it seemed like they were almost annoyed by the call and said well the class isn't even out, um yes it is but anyways the instructor told us to lookout in 30 minutes if that's not the process then maybe she needs to be updated instead of giving a customer attitude about what we were told! He makes the class a delight and a breeze, and no question is ever a "lame" question here. I never hesitate to ask anything because I know I'll get a easy answer without any attitude. The facility is very nice and clean. Marcus makes sure that you'll pass! He does his very best to fulfill each and every person's needs no matter what it be.
