This is the best company I have worked with. I booked a course for our church for over 20 people. I had many questions and they are very responsive and courteous. Never once did they seem to be bothered by all of my needs. They helped me stay on top of it, with reminders and support. They were also the most affordable I could find. The American Red Cross was a lot more costly for the same exact services and certifications. And we required it in Spanish. Our instructor, Dennis Carrasquilla was amazing! He made it very interactive and interesting. He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful in making sure the students are grasping the concepts and the most important information. Professional CPR Stockton is very easy to get a spot for your training/renewal CPR/BLS training through online. I like the way how they give you instruction for payment too. The venue is very neat and organized we practice social distancing and we cleaned the mannequin from time to time after we used it. They also have a free snacks and water when you get hungry. Small place that doesn't seem very popular but what do I know? When I went to the place, there were no more than two people other than me to get CPR certification. Seemed a little weird but I didn't think much of it since everyone was on quarantine. The class was about 2 hours long for just CPR, we were seated 6 feet away from each other, and as said in the email, we were required to buy the book. The book, I may say, is not worth the money. It's more like a thick folder than a book and it's a version from 2015 despite this being the year of 2020. I don't know about the book versions but it seems a little outdated and sketchy. During the class, we were shown quick videos, were given snacks, water, some hand sanitizer and practiced a couple times with partners on the CPR dummies for both adults and children with an AED. After that was a 25 question test that was open book and we were able to talk to the other people for questions as well as the instructor. Although the instructor was nice, I do feel like it wasn't informative enough for the amount of money I paid especially since I also paid for a First Aid certification that was given to me without a test or any other additional information besides a few quick videos. I also felt it was too easy for me to pass my first time taking my certification test and it really makes me doubt whether I could save another person's life with what I was taught in this class. read more

I had to renew my CPR license for school and I saw a Groupon for the Professional Training Institute. It was a great deal and really convenient. The location was a bit hard to find but there were lots of signs once I got into the building to help find the class itself. There was only 1 other student with me so we had a lot of individual attention. Our instructor Josh was very friendly and knowledgeable so we learned what we needed to very quickly and it was actually quite fun. I would definitely come back for recertification again! read more

My boyfriend and I had attended a CPR and Basic First Aid training course. We had purchased a Groupon offered for a one time use class and this was the best thing we did. It was simple and easy to call and schedule an appointment for an available date and all we needed to bring was ourselves and the Groupon voucher because it had our code on it. I brought a pen and paper to take notes which was not required, but I enjoy taking notes. We met at National University in Stockton and this place was easy to find. The receptionist lady was not as friendly as she should have been but because this review isn't to review the University but the Professional Training Institute I will not count that against them. Our instructor was Josh and he did a fabulous job. He knew what he was talking about and was clear about what he was saying and he really encouraged questions and answered them well. We had a class of about 5 people, all of who were engaged in what we were doing. We got to practice on the dummies of course but what I appreciated was that you don't have to go up to the front of the class and practice. You are in groups and each work individually with the instructor guiding you and standing right there in case you have a question or miss a step. The First Aid class immediately followed the CPR class and all we did was watch a video and then it was over. That part was not as up beat like the CPR class but it was still nice and simple. Overall, the class took about two and half to three hours and was completely worth it. We walked about of there with a sheet of paper with our ASHI Approved Certification Card attached. This was my first time taking a CPR/First Aid class and would highly recommend it to anyone needing or wanting a certification. read more
