I paid 2000 on the spot, the manager was rude and told her she wasn't supposed agree for treatment, unless paid in full an additional 4000 before leaving very unprofessional and rude around everyone. This was my first cleaning after moving here from North Dakota. There were a few things I liked and a few things that were weird: LIKED: -Friendly dental hygienist. My hygienist was only 21, and she did a great job establishing rapport and asking me questions. She asked enough questions but not too many. -Quick service. I was in and out in 35 minutes, and I even had paperwork to do at the beginning. -Clean environment. Thank goodness it was clean! Also, the whole process went smoothly, and you could tell everyone was organized. DIDN'T LIKE: -Ouch. My hygienist (as nice as she was) really hurt me as she cleaned my mouth. She put that rotating cleaning thing too far up into my gums, and she flossed very harshly. I couldn't chew on the left side of my face the rest of the day because my gums were so inflamed. I had to take medicine for the pain and inflammation. -They didn't do the thing where they scrape your teeth!! This is my favorite part of the dentist. I love when they scrape every single tooth and get the hardened calcium off, but my hygienist didn't do that. :( #sad -No fluoride! At my old dentist I got fluoride every time I got a cleaning, but maybe I'll get fluoride next time? Give Blackhurst Dental a try!!! Even though my gums were throbbing after (they feel better now), my hygienist did a great job, and my teeth feel cleaner. I also feel good giving my business to a place with such kind people.
