We called the Professional Electrical Services on Thanksgiving Day when we noticed a strange noise and smell coming out from electrical circuit breaker panel. After searching and calling a many other services without any success, we finally received an immediate response from Robert, the owner of Professional Electrical Services, who patiently listened to us, explained what needs to be done for safety, and then said that he will come first thing in the morning next day to evaluate the problem. Next morning he was here as promised, and said that the whole panel needs to be replaced. He provided us with a price quote which was fair for us and much less, comparable to other similar services in the industry. On Saturday, the team arrived before the specified time, and work was finished as planned; they were knowledgeable, and installed the new circuit quickly and neatly and at the quoted price. It was done the way it should be by competent contractors, so we were able to return to normal life fast. Robert and Zach are very professional and easy to work with; very responsive and helpful: they understand the situation and care to help as soon as possible. Another job well done by PES! Angelo came out to help with a rogue thermostat and then also install a GFCI outlet. The outdoor outlet was a piece of cake for Angelo, no problem. But our rogue thermostat proved to be a challenge. Angelo refused to give up and he also got innovative to avoid having to cut holes into the wall and ceilings even tho that would probably have been much easier for him but much more costly for me. End of the day, he found the perfect solution and when he left, I had a new outlet and my thermostat was up & running! PES is definitely my go to for anything electrical. I would like to take a moment to thank Marissa and Zach! In February we had no electricity and my mother is oxygen dependent. I called and spoke with Marissa and Zach was at the house in an hour. The electricity was restored. Due to some wires related to the utility company, a dual repair was required. Zach called his supervisor and they worked with the utility company. Called asking for a ballpark figure on a standard repair- replacing an electrical panel. I am buying a home and it came up in inspection. They would not even give me a vague, ballpark, saying they had to come out. I know this is not true. I have all pertinent information including a vivid photo and was only looking for local ballpark pricing. I do not yet own so I cannot have someone "come out to give an estimate". What I have found in the past is that when companies do this they either charge for the estimate or it gets padded into their fees to other people. This is just my experience. read more

PES LLC is amazing. The outlet where my washer and dryer are went on Christmas Eve. I figured I would inquire about having two outlets installed for a new location for my TV. PES came out the same day, literally three hours after I called. While they were there, I was offered, at no added coast, to have a new outlet cover placed where my dryer is. The outlet the seller of the house installed was the wrong one. While I ran out the buy it, PES noticed a few other small things and fixed them since they were there. On the first occasion Richard Marcks provided services to us, his services were wonderful. The second, a few years later, the home visit/consult seemed a bit rushed, he didn't write any notes as to what we were discussing, and somewhere between my home and his office, he forgot half of what we discussed. When given the quote, I was under the impression it was for the work we discussed, not what he just made mental notes of. He sent 2 employees to complete the work (Recessed Lighting Installation) which was very well done in one day. On the second visit, 2 tv-wall mounts with wires concealed was what was discussed. Wires exposed, Living Room TV had to be lowered by another Pro because after the 2nd visit, which the same two employees seemed rushed, didn't clean up after themselves, and had us return items to the store stating they weren't needed when they WERE! I cannot knowingly refer this business to anyone. When we called to speak to Richard regarding the installation he instantly thought we were looking for a discount. I don't know if that was because of our demographic or our race, but either way, it was a VERY inappropriate and untrue assumption. PROFESSIONAL, they ARE NOT!. I think when discussing electrical services that are being sought in EVERY room of a home, taking notes on a pad instead of trying to recollect them after getting back to the office might be a wise decision. It was very easy to set up the appointment. Afterward, I received a text with the name of the tech and a 1 hour window in which they would be arriving. I usually leave reviews when things are exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. This experience and this company fall into the exceptionally good territory. They use an automated system with acknowledgements and updates and the electrician, Addison showed up on time and did just excellent and thorough work. He cleaned up after himself and wanted to make sure that I was fully satisfied. The other notable practice of this company is that even though they charge an upfront charge of $59 as a trip charge that doesn't go towards the work, they charged me a more than reasonable total including this charge and told me right up front what this would be. We needed an electrician as we lost power due to a short circuit on the second floor. The technician (Angelo) came within a couple of hours after our call, wore a mask and gloves, and rapidly identified and fixed the problem. He was extremely helpful, fast and efficient. I contacted Bob about flickering lights. Seeing as this can be a BIG fire hazard if it's a loose connection in the wall I needed someone to come check it out asap. He first asked what time would work for us then gave a half hour time frame in that block he would be there. He inspected everything and it turned out to be a power company issue.
