Five star experience for sure. Mahalo to Ross for all his help printing our burial program for Dad. Process for printing was super easy; simply emailed Ross and staff whatever document I needed samples of and he would have them ready for pickup & review later the same day. We probably revised the file for editing over 5 separate times in a week but Ross continued to print the samples every time, working with us until we had everything perfect just the way we wanted. There's a few reserved stalls for parking in the back with a nearby lot as well. Printing price was also very affordable. Cant say enough good things about this experience. I took a hardcopy program or our high school class reunion created on a Microsoft Word software. The image of the high school logo was fuzzy and the text wasn't quite centered. David Wilson created magic! I was able to send him the digital document. He found the same logo and also centered the text. Professional Image University has a new location on Waialae that I dubbed "the second UH Bookstore." Chances are if you are a UH student, you'll visit this location at least once during your career to pick up a course reader. But the convenience and practicality of professional printing and binding services are truly underrated (perhaps not by the big fish in town who utilize them frequently). For just a few bucks, you can turn a stack of papers into an organized, easy to carry and store collection. I highly recommend giving that a try. My tip to new customers would be to call ahead if you anticipate submitting a large order. You can save time by sending your file ahead of time and providing instructions on how you'd want the job finished. The possibilities are quite broad, so it's worth asking for an opinion on how to best present what you're putting together. When it comes to printing, I say go Pro, especially if it's work related. I've been to Professional Image Waialae a few times before to get some printing done and they've always done a really great, fast job. I wasn't 100% sure if they did wedding invitations, so I called ahead and asked if they typically do 5x7 printing. Ross helped me through the entire process; he printed the full suite so that I could make sure I liked the paper, color, etc. then once he was sure I was happy with it he printed and cut them all in less than a day! I also paid a super reasonable price, whereas other companies and invitation services completely up charge for wedding related printing. This Professional Image is located on the corner of University and King St. You can park in the University Square parking lot and they validate parking. They are facing King St right between OMG and Aki-no-No. It's a great location for UH students and residents around the area. I needed a graphic to be done along with making some new letterheads and business cards. Keith and his team worked with me from start to finish. We met originally in person then communicated via email till I was ready to finalize everything to print. The process took awhile with my travels and getting everything compliance approved. Keith was very patient with me working on this and I really appreciated it. Once I was ready to print, I was advised by Keith to come back down to the shop to pick out the type of paper I wanted to use. Needed to make a copy of my 65 year plans for my home. You can imagine the aged paper and torn edges , including the fainting prints of my plans. I called and spoke to David and wanted to know if this would be possible due to the paper being so aged and fragile. These house plans are also oversized and wont fit in a regular size printer with a flatbed. David said it shouldnt be a problem for them as they put it in a clear sleeve before fitting it through the feeder. Success, David was able to make a copy and it was very clear!!!! I am very very happy with the services on every level at this company. They printed my sisters wedding invitations (post card) and wedding programs that I designed (2 different visits a couple months apart). They were very patient with my lack of correct file preparation and helped me. They also printed everything super fast (once by the next day and another time by 2 days-given it was thanksgiving weekend and I got there right before they closed and they were busy with other orders!). Professional Image is located near the intersection of University and King Streets. There is validated parking at University Square. A short walk Diamond Head on King Street past OMG. I came here because I had gotten a quote for my 2016-17 school year lesson/plan grade book. I am extremely picky and hated all the teacher lesson plan/grade books out there, so I decided to make my own. I had over 300 pages and it was mostly in color. I wanted it printed on a better, thicker quality paper (not printer paper) so it could last throughout the school year. And I wanted it bound. I had no clue where to start, so of course, I searched Yelp. I discovered that Yelp allowed me to get quotes from printers! Did not realize that Yelp could get any better! I submitted my requests and all I had to do was wait. Most got back to me with really high quotes or that they didn't bind. Professional Image said they could do it all - and at a price that didn't break this teacher's wallet! Hubby was able to drop by and show them the specifics of what I wanted. Professional Image said no problem. It would be ready by the next day. Problem, it wasn't ready the next day. Apparently, one of my fonts couldn't be read by their computer. I had to change everything from Powerpoint to a pdf. As soon as that was done, I went in myself to make sure that everything was set to my specs. They worked with me to make sure that my calendar pages were exactly where I wanted it to be and that the layout was just right. They suggested the type of paper to use and told me it would be ready in 2 days. (It was a Saturday. They are closed on Sundays.) As Monday afternoon arrived, I waited for the hubby to arrive with my teacher book! He showed up with a large paper bag. I went to grab it, but to my shock, it was my book, just not bound. Apparently, the paper they suggested was too thick to bind the pages. When they realized this, they punched holes in the pages so I could put it in a binder. Not exactly what I had in mind, but what can you do? My book is pretty awesome, just the carrying it around in a binder isn't the best. For the service and the price, I definitely will be back for next year's lesson plan/grade book. Maybe just not with cardstock. read more
