The scans and the radiologist's report were faxed to them the afternoon of the MRI. However, I was not informed of results for 11 days which is an agonizing wait for someone who is a cancer survivor! Fortunately results were fine, but no one should have to wait that long for test results! Trying to communicate with this organization is a pain. Their "patient portal" is a joke. You can't leave messages on the portal. You are told you can text them, but no one ever responded to my texts. You are also told by their voicemail to not leave multiple messages. However, whenever I called trying to find out what was going on, the office staff were polite but kept giving me various excuses that "they got a lot of faxes", or the "hospital doing the MRI didn't send everything" (which they did, twice!), or "the medical records people have to upload the material so the doctor can review it". But 11 days?? Forget it. I will not be returning to Orthopedic and Sports Medicine.

I ended up getting a second opinion because my symptoms were not matching up with what a normal sprain would be. My second opinion proceeded to take one look at my scans and see that I actually had a non-displaced distal fibula fracture. Definitely NOT a sprain. The staff was kind but I would not recommend going here after something like that was missed for me.

I was pretty nervous about going to a chiropractor at all (had only been one other time), but persistent back pain and nagging from my husband/referral from a sports team doctor, led us to The Joint. The office is beautiful and welcoming, and front desk staff is knowledgable, courteous, and friendly! I felt so comfortable after my first appointment and have been back since then! Definitely not an "adjust & go and come back a million more times" kind of place. I was given homework to make sure my back continued to get better - and it has! After a pretty bad brain injury he was able to help further my recovery and bring full feeling back down my arm and alleviate a great deal of my neck pain and discomfort. He utilizes several methods including needling and cupping and good old fashioned stretching exercises (he knows if you didn't do them between appointments, lol). My neurologist was even on board with adding him to my therapy to increase my range of motion and decreased pain levels after seeing his results. He is an extremely talented provider who keeps up to date with the latest techniques and methodology to ensure his patients receive quality care. My husband and I still utilize him from time to time as he is the best in the business/field here in town or to be honest at least an hour plus drive!! My son would drive two hours to see him because he couldn't find an equal to his care!

Dr Fincham made my nose worse after surgery. Saw her maybe for a minute before surgery. They had to…read moreremove a procedure I had said no to yet they still had it on the agenda--thankful I asked first before the surgery. Post op kept telling me I was fine, but I still can't smell anything, nose stuffed up and is worse. They also billed me way too much even after i met my deductible. I would recommend going somewhere else. I would not have Dr Michelle Fincham do anything for you.
