I was assured this would be honored. However, my request was completely disregarded, and the teeth were thrown away without any effort to assist me. What is even more alarming is that I was told extracted teeth are sometimes given to a third party for profit. This raises serious ethical concerns and makes me question whether my request was ignored so the clinic could benefit financially. The lack of transparency and disregard for my wishes is deeply troubling. This experience reflects a concerning absence of professionalism, integrity, and respect for patient rights. I felt dismissed, and my concerns were ignored. If a facility cannot keep its word on a simple request, it calls into question their overall ethical standards and what they may do with patient materials. Before doing business with this organization, I strongly advise others to ask detailed questions and ensure their rights will be respected. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend a clinic that does not keep its promises and may potentially profit from a patient's extracted teeth without consent. This situation deserves formal investigation to protect future patients.

The receptionist, Sharon, wasn't willing to go the extra-mile and send over paperwork until requested to do so. She also asked, based off of hearing our insurance, if we work for Dillon's. Umm, don't assume things about people. Then, she wanted us to "search for forms" to fill on their website. Umm, no. We're calling in to make an appt at your office, bringing you business. Obviously, this is not a free service, we/our insurance is paying. So could you just do your job as you're paid for? It's not that hard. It's understandable that anyone can have a bad day and honestly, we're all busy. However, after getting her to send us the paperwork, when we responded that we no longer could keep the appt, she called us back the following week, asking if we'd like to reschedule. When we said there were things we cannot move to make an appt at this time, Sharon hung up on us. Shame on you. Save your time & money, there are other dentists' offices who are truly professional -- definitely give this one a skip!

I hate going to dentist and being lectured about not brushing/flossing enough. Not saying they didn't suggest that, but from the beginning I felt like they were there to help support my needs. The thing that stands out to me from every dentist is their organization. The first dentist office that I've been to that they use radios to communicate, but it is very efficient. They have a picture of you on file so when you walk in for your appointment they basically call you by name. Most doctor/dentist send a reminder a couple days before the appointment, which they do too. But they also send you another reminder an hour before the appointment, which for someone like me is very helpful.

I have no doubt that the medical staff are competent. However, I had an incredibly stressful…read moreexperience trying to find out results of a MRI they ordered. The scans and the radiologist's report were faxed to them the afternoon of the MRI. However, I was not informed of results for 11 days which is an agonizing wait for someone who is a cancer survivor! Fortunately results were fine, but no one should have to wait that long for test results! Trying to communicate with this organization is a pain. Their "patient portal" is a joke. You can't leave messages on the portal. You are told you can text them, but no one ever responded to my texts. You are also told by their voicemail to not leave multiple messages. However, whenever I called trying to find out what was going on, the office staff were polite but kept giving me various excuses that "they got a lot of faxes", or the "hospital doing the MRI didn't send everything" (which they did, twice!), or "the medical records people have to upload the material so the doctor can review it". But 11 days?? Forget it. I will not be returning to Orthopedic and Sports Medicine.

I ended up getting a second opinion because my symptoms were not matching up with what a normal sprain would be. The staff was kind but I would not recommend going here after something like that was missed for me.
