I called their New Brunswick office and they said my appointment isn't with them and they finally sent me to the Livingston office. I called the Livingston office to let them know the situation and that I'll be late and they refused to see me. I said I'm already on my way, showed up and the only thing they said is "they didn't have an email on file". THEN WHY DONT YOU CALL?! They said I "should've" received a notification text but I received NOTHING. I am in excruciating pain and took my day off all for them to discard me like trash.

Dr. Rieber always tries to find alternative treatments to surgery. When surgery is needed, he is proud to provide state-of-the-art arthroscopy and robotic surgery. Dr. Rieber earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He went on to pursue further training through an orthopedic surgery residency at Albany Medical Center in Upstate New York. Dr. Rieber completed his sports medicine fellowship at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. In the early 2000s, Dr. Rieber realized there was a need for more surgical joint replacement treatments as he observed patients struggling to recover from broken hips. This insight led him to develop an institute that improves the overall experience of those who need a total joint replacement in the hospital. The changes recognized include pre-operative planning, better nurse-patient ratios, and a customized recovery experience. Another patient-focused solution Dr. Rieber volunteered to implement was pioneering the breakthrough anesthetic drug Exparel during knee surgeries. The pain medication numbs the area where it was administered for up to three days, providing more comfort to the patient post-surgery. Dr...

Obviously if this was true, no one would even know my name or that I had surgery that day. after the coordinator told me to change in to the dress, she did come back to say she made a mistake. A new nurse came in and started asking about the insurance, which startled me, because it should've already been in the system. I told her it's fine, I will go back downstairs, while im downstairs registering, in comes the surgical team upset that im down stair registering. How Ironic?! After making it back upstairs with my wristband, there's another set of 3 nurses just waiting in the room. As im on a call, 1 nurses starts talking to me while im on the call, and I advised her of hw mannerless that was. I told her I couldn't talk to 2 nurses and finish up my call all at the same time. Dr. rizzo enters the room and DEMANDS me to sit down, like im not a patient, but the SLAVE ,that he made as a recent purchase. I advised him id rather stand and then he states he feels uncomfortable about doing the surgery if a physical person can't be there, which I totally understand. I told him thats fine, and then gathered my belongings and left. With that piece of information already in place, I didnt find it feasible enough to stay in a room with 10 people, once the Dr. is basically saying he has to cancel because the policy isn't being followed. I didnt have any issues with that. Th nurse, however, said he didnt know about the medical transport, and that she would tell him. All the while I had already made up my mind to not be seen there. Due to the lack of professionalism on his end and his staff. I felt as though they really wanted to blame me so bad for this and just couldn't admit they lacked communication. Yea! Literally was the worst day of my life. Im glad I dodged a bullet, He then proceeds to find me in the hallway and expressed his emotions towards me and that he wasn't comfortable. Meanwhile, im the patient, and no one is consoling me or asking me about how I felt. The narrative listed below is only 1 side of the story, not 2 sides. FOR THE RECORD, I OBIOMA OKORO, WAS THE ONE THAT CHOSE TO FIND A NEW DOCTOR DUE TO THE MANY OBSTACLES AND CHALLENGES GOING ON. NOT THEM!

I was bummed that my mom was basically being FORCED to go to Kessler for reasons that I won't express here.. but the distance and reviews made me leery. Can I say that I'm SO happy this is where she landed. Thanking God for being all-knowing. She was here for a week and left thriving. Plenty of parking, very clean grounds (not an off scent to be found), staff was amazing and over the top friendly, top notch PT--beyond important, etc. etc. etc. I have to also give a shout out to a particular employee in particular, Tiyann. She assisted us in our departure from beginning to end. My mom had a lot of stuff and it would be difficult to maneuver all of that and her dealing with limited mobility. She got bags for her stuff, a cart to help transfer the bags to the car, helped re-organize my trunk to get my mom's wheelchair to fit.. and she did it all with a smile! I would highly recommend this location to anyone who is dealing with a spinal injury (that's the floor that she was on). Thanks again to everyone who helped make this a home away from home for my mom.

This is not what customer service is about. We are calling for help and assistance and need to speak to people with kindness, patience and understanding. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had and I will be searching to go elsewhere.
