Last year, Cindi helped me avoid rotator cuff surgery, and for the past 5 months for lower back issues, pre-hab before and post PT after a knee replacement. (not an easy recovery). Cindi and her staff are compassionate, positive, kind, professional and really know their stuff! Whenever I was feeling frustrated with my knee recovery, Cindi and Megan always had the answer, they knew how to make me feel better and had the skills and knowledge to keep me motivated and progressing. They were almost as excited as I was when I hit milestones! I am 9 weeks out and just walked 2 miles with no pain! Cindi and her staff truly care about your recovery and go above and beyond in helping you reach your goals no matter how big or small. Physical Therapy and Beyond is the place to heal! At approximately 25 weeks pregnant, I began to suffer from debilitating back and groin pain...I currently live in Astoria, Queens, so Cindi's office isn't around the corner anymore for me. It didn't matter, I would travel to see her. The same day I let Cindi know about my pain she told me she would see me that evening if I could get there. Throughout my pain, Cindi never jumped to conclusions on what was causing it, such as, "its the position of the baby, it will pass". Cindi treated my pain and helped me feel as comfortable as possible during an incredibly sensitive time in my life. I met Cindi over 15 years ago and since then she has treated both my Mom and Dad as well for other pains. I will continue to return to Cindi and her staff during times of need and recommend her practice wholeheartedly. She is the therapist you want by your side.

You know, life. I can happily say that my PT, Greg Beach, tailored a perfect treatment plan - heat, exercise, massage/stretching, ultrasound, ice, etc.- to help me make a complete recovery each time. Greg is an expert PT, and one of the nicest people you will ever meet. I've witnessed him and his team work on many people with a variety of issues, and no matter the problem, he immediately knows the best way to go about helping. The thing about PT is that you have to be diligent and willing to work to get better. It is about recovering, strengthening and maintaining healthier habits. Greg wants every patient to continue improving, and if needed, will assign an at-home routine to compliment your office treatment. He makes sure every patient walks out of his care educated and better than they were before their injury or accident. Sure, going to physical therapy isn't how most people want to spend their afternoon or evening after a long day at school or work, but Greg and company, as well as the other patients, really create an enjoyable, relaxed atmosphere that makes it easier to look forward to. I live here, and I need to warn others: this place is not safe. Most days there are only one or two…read moresupervisors for the whole building, and staff don't respond when you need them. I've been left waiting for help for long stretches, and when they do come, they are rough and impatient, like I'm a burden. The building is dirty, the bathrooms often smell, and the environment feels depressing. I've seen residents yelled at and treated with no kindness. Once, I even witnessed someone being restrained for hours without anyone checking in, which was frightening. Supervisors don't take responsibility--they push their jobs onto others who shouldn't be doing them. When inspectors are around, they make everything look fine, but as soon as they leave, we're ignored again. I don't feel respected, safe, or cared for here. If you want your loved one treated with dignity, please find another facility.

Let me just say that my recovery so much more tolerable thanks to Margaret (Maggie)! I made several appointments with her while I was in town. I wish I could bring her back to Texas with me. The spa was very relaxing and very modern. The office staff was very kind and especially accommodating to my schedule. The ONLY reason for the lack of 5 stars was that my undressing and dressing time was deducted from my massage time. I am accustomed to getting a 60 minute massage for 60 minutes, not 45. Maybe it's how they do things up here, first time for a massage upstate for me. Other than that, everything else was amazing.
