Told me 2 coats are on, I'm like... no, you were only on this side one day and there are light spots. Cheap caulk was used, it's shrunk and has to be redone less than 5 years later. Concrete front porch and carport had prior paint so, that was included in quote, they didn't prep it correctly, it looks TERRIBLE currently peeling and scratched because it didn't get a good bond. The prior paint bonded just fine (they gaslit me on that also.). I clocked the carpenter time because I knew he was a hourly, their bill inflated the hours. I didn't say anything at the time, just wanted a bad situation to go away. When asked to correct things they missed, gaslighting is their defense. A very unprofessional bunch of folks. I see a lot of good reviews for them, but I am not sure how. Spiteful too, I had these round aluminum vents on the front of my house that I had all taped up when they painted the first time so they would have a clean line. When I asked them to come back and touch up spots they missed, they did this to my nice shiny aluminum vents that I had taken care of to protect on purpose just to be jerks. This inspection company missed so many items in the inspection that cost us money. Inspector's…read moreattitude was everything was cosmetic or maintenance - nothing major. Here are a few of the larger items: 1) water heater pressure regulator was faulty and not regulating the water pressure coming into the home (saw this same item in another review was missed) 2) water heater was not getting hot water in a timely manner to any area of the house (5 to 10 minutes to warm up) and tankless water heater was suspected by our plumber to have never been maintained and could clog our pipes if we did a maintenance flush - ended up replacing tankless water heater AND regulator AND circulation system installed 3) back outside faucet not functional - no water comes out of it (still not repaired yet). Also, downspouts on house that went underground and terminated only 5 to 6 feet away from house --one crushed, one clogged with toys. Had to install two expensive french drains to drain water away from house due to wetness around foundation. We don't know if this was something in the scope of the inspection but it was major and costly. Other more minor items missed, and we are discovering more everyday. We have no confidence in the reliability of the inspection reports from this company based on our experience.

Typically, service call pricing is typically $100-$175 and $249 is generally considered premium pricing. Please do your homework.

Hearthside Hearth and Granite were able to locate the type of granite I required in India and when it arrived it was a perfect match for my existing hearth. This was fortunate because the hearth came damaged. Even though I didn't need the hearth Hearthside refunded me $400 for the damaged piece. I thought that was fair. As it ended up I had to use one of the broken pieces of the hearth to make new granite legs for the sides of my fireplace. So everything worked out very well.
