Before we went on vacation she came to meet me and my cat and they seemed to get along very well. I could tell that Yvette loves and cares for all animals very much based on the way she responded to my cat. I also knew that she had a cat of her own so there wasn't much instruction required. I knew that she would take good care of her. During our vacation Yvette sent us with an e-mail update on how Ellie was doing. It was very nice and thoughtful of her to do so as it brought us peace of mind while we were away. Ellie was a happy kitty when we came home and I would definitely use Tail Blazer's services again for future vacations. Great service. Great business. Very reliable. Honestly my 80 lbs malamute comes back so tired and played out that it's the only place I can feel good about leaving her. The only complaint I used to have was not enough photos in real time, and in the last 4 months they have totally reacted to that feedback and now it's great. The reason I am now posting--most recently, my malamute stayed for the 120 day quarantine process when I had to move to another country and I am incredibly grateful about the care and attention and love she got. Also the photos they sent me. I would have gone nuts otherwise. I see in the other reviews someone else had trouble with their dog acting out and having some alarming moments thinking I needed to find a plan B, especially at around the 30-40 day mark. This happened to me too, and was terrifying. However, Donna and team were able to spot the pattern of what was causing my dog to get overwhelmed and took steps to make sure she and other dogs weren't having that same stressful situation, and turned the behaviour around. They gave her extra love and personal 1 on 1 ttime, changed her sleeping arrangements, made sure she had extra hikes to the lake, and let the other dogs leave the barn first so she wasn't part of the Kerfuffle. I will get reunited with my babydoll in just a few weeks!! And from the photos she has made really good friends over the stay.

Only when I asked they told me the dogs are put to bed at 7:00 pm and the first pee break is at 7:00 am the next morning. Yes you heard correctly 12 hours. I couldn't help myself. I said that's ridiculous..very cruel. She told mr puppies go there and they are fine to hold it. I finished with I'm done wasting anymore of my time and I left. While doing my search for walkers and I came across Jeremy the Dog Walker I felt a little more at ease from our very first telephone conversation. Then during our face-to-face meeting I knew I had found the perfect walker in which I could entrust the care and safety to for my Beajou. As a person Jeremy is kind, caring, personable, polite, intelligent, very punctual with an extremely pleasant disposition. Jeremy took his time, approached Beajou on her level while kneeling patiently, called her name and waited for Beajou to acquaint herself with him. I was thrilled when she came to Jeremy immediately and was completely comfortable with him stroking her back while we continued to talk. Now every morning from the moment I say Jeremy's name my Beajou sits up and with excitement stares at the front door anxious for his arrival. Here's the biggest surprise, I no longer have to chase Beajou around the apartment to put on her harness!! Because she knows Jeremy is coming and it's time to walk with her new friends, Beajou sits perfectly still and with no struggle at all I put on the harness and she's more than ready for her walk.
