I was living in New Jersey and wanted to ship my car to Texas. They told me I could ship it from Connecticut instead. But on the day of shipment, they didn't show up. Later that evening, they called and demanded $700 more. I told them I was only willing to pay $100 extra, but they kept telling me the driver would come the next day. If I could give negative 10 stars I would! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Needed a vehicle transported across country and this is a brokerage, not an actual trucking company. First problem, they are NOT in the US or Canada, they're physically in India and have a bad habit of lying to customers. Started with the rate, came to an agreement and I provided over a week window for them to pick up the car. Needless to say, I had to check with them on a regular basis to see if they scheduled a truck. Of course they didn't until nearly the end of my window. However, they first played the game that they needed more money to make it happen. Since I was having to fight with them to try to get my deposit back and the bank would take at least two weeks, I went ahead and agreed to the additional amount. All at the promise that they could get me a truck with no problem. Then the additional lies started coming over and over and over again. BS claims that the DOT was stopping and inspecting trucks and drivers causing a delay in getting anyone available. First that is a lie as trucks and drivers get inspected on a regular basis anyhow and that is just life as a trucker. Plus compounded the lie claiming that they owned their own trucks and had their own drivers employed by them. A lie they recanted when I challenged further since I know how to look up their DOT number and license to do business. Then they claimed they had a truck and driver and would send me the information immediately so I could schedule pick up with the driver. Plus he is dead heading to me directly from over 700 miles away! That wasn't true and is lie number 2. Over a day later and after calling and complaining further, I get the information. Call the driver and he tells me there is no dispatch order for my car but he isn't too far from me as he was already in the area picking up other cars. Back to these idiots again. They proceed with lie number 3 saying that the driver doesn't know what he is talking about and they'll call the company and get it resolved. I'm told I'll hear back shortly. Well that didn't happen either. I actually hear back from the driver late in the afternoon/early evening and he is about 40 miles from me but traffic sucks and will get a bit of rest and let the traffic die down. Since he has my cell number I inform him to reach out anytime as I'm up well before dawn each day and can help him get nearby. He texts me at just prior to 4:00 AM that he's within a couple of miles of me. I reply and we meet up just after 8:00 AM and he loads the car! If you can't tell the driver (Julio) and his company (All Day Auto Hauling www.alldayautohauling.com) would get 10 stars! Even delivery was earlier than expected! Again this is due to the carrier and not this BS broker! The cherry on top with how messed up Profexo is would be what happened a few hours after the car getting picked up by the carrier. When I heard from Profexo last was the day before that they were going to get things worked out with the carrier and call me back. I didn't hear back from them at all that day, with no response to any of my texts either. But oddly enough I get a call from them after the truck has left with my car and here comes lies 4, 5 and 6. First thing out of his mouth is "We're sorry, but we can't get you a truck for your shipment today it won't be until Monday or after, you just need to be patient! My response was, "THEY ALREADY PICKED UP THE CAR and had it on their schedule completely". This I had to repeat multiple times as the liar wasn't listening to me at all. Then proceeds with the next lie by saying that the carrier told them they didn't want the load at all and they were frantically looking for a truck for me. When I challenged that another lie ensues as he is now trying to cover up the last. He tells me that oh, they didn't know the carrier ended up accepting as they couldn't reach the trucking company as they weren't answering the phone or email, to confirm anything. Wait a minute, I was just told a moment prior that the carrier refused the order. Now, couldn't reach the company and they weren't replying at all? Well, time for ANOTHER lie! He proceeds to try to cover up the first two saying that their phone and internet and ALL communication out and in was actually disrupted the day before and that is why they didn't get everything resolved. Fortunately the carrier and driver was great and wish I had known of them prior. Needless to say though, I'll NEVER use these liars again. Do yourself a favor whether this company or any other, if you are planning to transport your car, find out or figure out if they are a physical trucking company and if not and they are a broker, are they physically in the US (be careful many will lie) and if they claim to be, ask for names and numbers of carriers they are working with and investigate. They told the local tow truck to leave my car on the side of the road next to an empty grass lot (I have the pics to prove it) and to put the keys in the gas tank until the delivering driver arrived to pick it up. Legitimate car shipping companies don't tell drivers to drop cars off on the side of the road. Luckily for me the local tow truck driver contacted me to let me know what they had told him to do. He didn't feel comfortable leaving it on the side of the road with the keys in the gas tank so he called me and asked me what I wanted to do with the car. I told him to bring it back to my home and I'll find a different company to do the job. Unfortunately for me I had to pay $655 to get the car off his truck and back in my possession. All this came after they changed the agreed upon price of the job as well as the day that they would pick up the car. I've asked them to pay me back for the $655 and they've blown me off and told me that I shouldn't have paid the local tow truck driver to get the car back. The business practices of this company are so unacceptable that I've had to contact my lawyer to get involved in hopes to get my money back. If for some reason you decide to use this company, please take into consideration that WITHOUT A DOUBT they will raise the price an additional $300-$600 when/if your car arrives. After we agreed on a price and paid an initial down deposit of 20%, Profexo proceeded to not contact me until the night before my car was supposed to be picked up. They then told me that the new price was more than double what was initially agreed upon. Again another month goes by before I hear from them. This time they say they can do it for still more than 150% the original price. There only apologetic action at all was that they "waived my cancellation fee of 150 dollars" however this was after I was informed that I would they would be keeping my initial deposit as that had already been used and was no longer available. Stay away from this company. Run by some of the most shady crooked men that have immigrated to our country and cant understand how honest business is to be done in the USA! First I was contracted at a great rate, should have know better. The afternoon before the pickup, they call and tell me that they have sent another invoice I needed to pay, for $200, this was in addition to the $170 broker fee I had paid many weeks before. I called BS on this, called the actual carrier who stated no that was never a practice and to just not speak further to them. The next day car is picked up, before the driver loads the car, I confirm how must I am to pay upon delivery, $1250 in case. That was inline with my expectation. The morning of the pickup they send the carrier an amended invoice for $1450 when the driver is already in-route to pickup. They stated to carrier that I had agreed to this amount since I did not pay broker fee. I informed the carrier I saw the invoice when pickup occurred, $1250. I told them I would see them in court and they could impound the car and I would have there broker license revoked and sue them for breach of contract. Only after yelling at 2-3 "managers" with Profexo who would never give me their names when requested as I intend to use their names in a civil suit did they agree to "waive" the fee. I will be filing a complaint with the Dept Transportation, BBB, and filing a suit against them in Dearborn, MI civil court, in short they will pay more than they think in lawyer fees than they ever thought about making off me. This was one of the WORST experiences I have ever had with any company. They are complete scammers!!! We arranged for covered transport over a month in advance for a specific delivery date. We were assured that since this was a covered transport, there would be 2 drivers in line to assure the pick up and delivery of the vehicle. I contacted them the week of the pick up & was assured all was well. I mainly dealt with Sebastian who continued to say all was in order and that the drivers documents were being verified. Now comes pick up day & suddenly the first drivers credentials were not valid and the second drivers trailer was leaking some sort of fluid. We have gone from 2 drivers to zero drivers. I was in constant contact with the company in an attempt to resolve this issue and have them fufill the terms of the contract. After many heated discussions I am told of an "elite" carrier that is available that evening BUT it is going to cost me over $900 MORE than the original amount. Bottom line...they quote you a price, fill the transaction with lies & basically back you against the wall since it is too late to do anything else since the vehicle needs to get to its destination. They quoted me $675 for a one-way shipment which was a fantastic price, in fact I almost felt it was too good to be true until I carefully read through the contract and found no hidden fees or misleading language. I felt comfortable and signed, then paid the deposit. I was confident that my vehicle would be shipped 3 weeks later at the contracted price. Then, the day before scheduled pickup, I called to confirm the expected arrival time as I had not heard from anyone at the company. It was at this time that they informed me they had little to no available drivers and that to make the pickup happen on the scheduled date, we'd need to pay over $3000. Almost FIVE TIMES the originally agreed upon price! After a full day of painstaking and exhausting "negotiation" (inappropriate and hostile conversations with multiple employees and supervisors consisting of yelling and name calling, texting us screenshots of their load boards saying things like "see, nobody else will work with you at the original price!" and acting as if they were doing us a favor by working so hard to find a driver, etc), we were finally able to get the price "down" to $1000. We agreed to it because we had no choice with flights across the country booked for the next morning. Then, when the vehicle arrived at its destination, the main representative we dealt with throughout the ordeal, Jason, had the nerve to call me requesting a positive review since the vehicle arrived with no damage and he "only agreed to the $1000 price in exchange for 5 star ratings online." I paid my the full deposit of $180 in hopes that my vehicle would be pickup on time, however that was not the case. I had an early flight on 12/2 headed to MT for work but Profexo failed to communicate with me on the matters of the transport of my vehicle. I was assured that my car would be picked up in time but there was no communication as to when or who was picking up my car so I wanted to cancel the services. Since my vehicle was not picked up in the adequate time and being inconvenienced I had to rent a car once I landed in MT at the airport. The company did contact me two days later to apologize but it was too late because I didn't have my vehicle and I had to pay for a rental car when I simply could've had my vehicle pickup and delivered. I tried to speak to multiple representatives insisting on canceling my order and refunding my deposit but they continued to give me run-around. Finally four days later, the supervisor William Arthur contacted me and stated he could refund me only $100 and not my full refund of $180 because the company's accounting department didn't have the money.
