They don't properly screen the new tenants they allow to move in we have had multiple drug dealers, and other nefarious people move in then get evicted after having to call the police multiple times. Next the overall property maintenance has been severely lacking the parking lot is filled with pot holes, snow doesn't get removed in a timely fashion and when it does the company boardwalk hired got caught stealing packages from residents. Furthermore I put in a maintenance request more then 4 months ago with no resolution because they just don't feel like dealing with it. Lastly is their predatory and unjust billing they try and throw hidden fees in on your bill and hope you don't notice and when you ask about them you just get left on read and still expect you to pay it. It's not with a clear conscience that I could every recommended this company to any renters or even property owners due to the difficulties me and other tenants have had with them. Directly from the letter: "Denton County has issued a Tax Suit against this property, and it is headed to the Sheriff's Sale Foreclosure Auction. The property has unpaid property taxes in the amount of $2,507.00. If it is sold at auction, the current owners will receive no money upon sale." I'm going to note here that that entire paragraph is in bold. My 65 year old mother with a history of strokes opened that. We legit thought there was an issue for about an hour and that she, my two autistic daughters and I were about to be homeless with no where to go and zero communication from the tax office. Luckily my mom was quickly able to get ahold of the county tax office, who assured her over and over that there are no issues with taxes on our property. This obviously means this was a scare tactic from Blue Mountain, and they hoped we wouldn't look into it and just accept an offer from them. Since the letter came addressed to my grandmother, I think they noticed her age and decided to try and take advantage of a senior citizen. Instead they got me and my mother, and I am not one to sit back and stay quiet. Also it is now 2024, the other review about this is from 2023 - which means they've been sending these letters out for over a year. Possibly longer. Trustworthy companies DO NOT SEND OUT THREATENING LETTERS. Blue Mountain is NOT LEGIT. I called the 24 hour number, spoke with someone who was obviously very flustered and he said the owners (Matthew B. and Ethan E., according to the letter) weren't in the office and would call me back. The man in this photo is NOT the owner. The owner is Jennifer Yeardley. They are not in COS, they are in Denver.
