Next was the equipment: this is not a mega gym but everything worked and it is was far beyond basic. I think the only thing I wished they had were medicine balls, but I still managed to find some workarounds. Some dislikes: the place was a little dark for my liking, the first person that attended me was not versed in my membership, and I am not certain the sauna was in working order despite the instructions on starting it up. Cons: lacks newer machine for back, chest, & shoulders. having a beautiful mirror room that was probably the best part of this gym & is now only used my Zumba & employees after they finish their workout takes away so much from this gym because Trufit doesn't have it. Having this room now locked up I'd rather take my business right across the street to Trufit where they already do have it locked up. & yes I'd rather take my businesses to a gym that is messy, has dumbbells all over the place, & hardly ever has A/C but has way better machines & a whole lot more space. Not being open on Saturdays is the worst part about this gym & closing at 7 on Fridays when other gyms close much later. This place is middle of the road. Let's get into it…read more Parking: this place has probably the worst laid out parking lot I've seen in a very long time. Not near enough spaces for the shopping center it's in. Not their fault but man, the developers screwed them here. The layout: they have a huge HIIT area to the right as you walk in, a bunch of star cardio equipment that I'm going to circle back to, and plenty of power racks. The problem? It's so damn busy here. Getting a rack was a hassle, most benches were full. Machines are nautilus which... I'm kinda torn on. Better than matrix and hoist but barely. Now to the cardio machines. They have stair master rowers, that need maintenance. The chain was way too lax and really was a insufficient pull. Hate to say it but the matrix rowers are far superior. Never thought I'd say these words. Ever. The star cardio machines. Not a huge fan. The arch elliptical was awkward and hitchy. They tried to copy the precor and didn't work out so well. So overall; it's not a terrible gym. But it's far from a great one. Mainly due to how packed it was and the inconvenience of everything surrounding that. Syoy

I have been fortunate enough to train at many different gyms around the world. I have had the chance to train with some of the best in the game. I can attest that Ralph Garcia ranks in the category of being amongst the great coaches I have had the opportunity to share the Mat with. His ability to recognize minute details that could change ones game is on point. This is one of those gyms I feel could be one of the elite gyms given the right environment. However, this town is saturated with other competing gyms for the population. Being a Black belt, I tend to be a bit more critical when visiting another gym. If I feel the environment isn't a good fit, I may only visit once. This is absolutely not the case here. I was immediately welcomed as if I was family. This is exactly what I look for when searching out a temporary home away from home. Everyone I've met at this gym has been extremely welcoming. Ralph Garcia brings a wealth of quality knowledge to the mats. His ability to convey easily understandable instructions makes this a valuable school for beginners and advanced students. I, a 59 year old female, was using a machine that was unoccupied. A large sweaty male came over and…read morestarted yelling that it was his machine. When I told him it was vacant, he called me the B word, picked up a metal bar and threatened me with it while yelling all kinds of abuse. He was obviously going through "roid rage" as he had all the signs of steroid use. The manager never came to assist, and the desk clerk came only after several tense minutes of his screaming and stomping at me. The owner of the gym hid in his office. Later I found out that this guy has a history of abusing others in the gym. As I left to get on my bike, the desk clerk came outside and told me to "keep 911 on my speed dial" as she was worried that he might follow me and run me over! I filed an incident report with the police. I will never go back there for fear of my personal safety.
