While I hope I won't need any further therapy, if I ever do, I would definitely return to the Stafford location.

Attempting to contact the office (Stafford, VA) has been extremely frustrating. It takes an act of…read moreCongress to speak to someone in the office; there is no direct number. You have to submit a message via the portal which could take days before a response and even then, I had to keep requesting the same thing multiple times because the physician did not READ and properly address my message; it took 12 days to finally resolve, but the issue was still not properly resolved. Calling only connects to the call center that has to send a message to the staff and wait for a response. The staff, to include the physician, have been clueless AND dismissive of the Dept. of Labor (DOL) protocol that MUST be followed for approval. Infuriating experience and a waste of valuable time. IF this practice is going to accept DOL patients, at the very least act like you give a damn and ensure that you follow DOL's protocol. By not doing so, you are not helping DOL patients. :-( If you do not know without a doubt what that protocol is, contact DOL to find out. It is that simple. The DOL protocol is not the issue, people paying attention and following the protocol are the issue.

To start off the receptionist was awesome and always remembered my name and greeted me with a smile. I worked with Cathy and Matt and their assistants and in no time I went from a walker to a cane to walking on my own. They cater your exercises to your abilities and listen to your concerns. They sent me home with instructions to do exercises at home on days I wasn't there. The whole staff are not only physical therapists they are also cheerleaders letting you know that you can do it. I appreciate everything that they did for me and I really miss them all. I would recommend them to anyone who needs therapy.

Under one roof, the Driver Rehabilitation Center for Excellence (DRCE) will do a full driving evaluation of someone who is disabled but wants the freedom and mobility of driving restored to their life. DRCE provides a comprehensive program to evaluate whether the person is capable of driving, designs a system to get them back on the road and modifies vehicles in their state of the art shop to accommodate special needs. In the past therapists working with the disabled and vehicle modifiers adapting vehicles for the disabled worked in different silos and talked past one another. DRCE integrates the entire process. Not only does DRCE service wounded warriors and other disabled persons wishing to get back on the road, they also provide independent driver evaluations for senior citizens. In my case, my wife and I wanted to provide other family members assurance that a senior family member was still capable of driving locally to familiar locations during the day. DRCE put this senior family member through a series of mental agility, coordination and on the road evaluations then delivered a comprehensive report on this persons ability to drive. The two co-founders, Josh and Tammy, are on site you work with them during the evaluation. Highly recommended for anyone who is disabled and wants to drive again or who wants to evaluate the driving capabilities of a senior family member.
