I am beyond frustrated with my experience with the Proform 2000, and I feel compelled to share my nightmare of a journey with this product and the company. I purchased the Proform 2000 treadmill in August 2023, and for a short period, it was everything I wanted--quiet, smooth, and with a 15% incline. I was thrilled with my purchase... until it started leaking hydraulic oil just a couple of months into use. Naturally, I reached out to Atlantic Fitness for assistance. A technician came to replace the part on December 26th. I thought that was the end of it--until the same issue resurfaced again in January, just weeks after the repair. At this point, I contacted iFit, hoping for a resolution. I asked for a refund given that the same part on the same machine failed twice in such a short period. However, it took months for anyone from iFit to respond--by early March, I was finally able to speak to a supervisor, Hugo Linares, who told me a refund was not an option but a replacement might be possible. At this point, the frustration was palpable. After more delays, I finally connected with Elle Petry, who actually did something constructive and helped me get in touch with the right people. Bryan Rands from the warranty department called me, and while I was on the phone with him, he placed an order for a replacement machine. Fast forward to receiving the replacement--and it was a complete disappointment. The quality of the replacement was nowhere near the level of the original Proform 2000 I had purchased. I gave it a couple of uses to confirm my suspicions and then contacted Bryan to ask for a refund. His response? Apologies for the "miscommunication," but he'd only be offering me a partial refund with a 10% restocking fee and a $250 return shipping fee. Here's where the situation completely fell apart: I was originally told a refund wasn't even an option, but now I'm being told it is. Why would I have accepted the replacement if I had known I could have gotten a refund in the first place? Why should I be hit with a restocking fee and return shipping costs when I never had to return the original unit? And why was I not warned about these additional charges until after I accepted the replacement? This entire process has been nothing short of a headache. As an avid runner, all I wanted was a high-quality machine I could trust. Instead, I've been met with poor customer service, misleading information, and a product that has failed on multiple occasions. At this point, I'm stuck with a faulty replacement treadmill, no refund, and a company that seems intent on doing the bare minimum. Proform has completely failed in delivering on both product quality and customer service. I'm done with this treadmill, and I certainly won't be recommending Proform to anyone I know. If you're considering a purchase from this brand, think twice before making the same mistake I did. read more

I will never buy another Pro Form product again. I bought an expensive treadmill 3 years ago and have had problems with the treadmill ever since it was assembled. Shortly after assembly it started making very loud screeching noises and the touchscreen began having all kinds of software issues causing it to reboot constantly. I didn't even want the stupid Ifit software which is a scam to get you to subscribe to their online fitness program. The system has to be constantly connected to wifi just to get the treadmill to start, regardless of whether you are subscribed to their fitness program or not. I finally had a service call last week which included the cost a worthless maintenance kit. I spent $267 upfront for the technician to tell me after 10 minutes that I needed a bunch of replacement parts that would cost nearly $400 just for the parts. He said he didn't even need the stupid maintenance kit which was just a useless box filled with cleaning towels, cleanser, and lubricant. I called Ifit customer service and after a very frustrating 30 minute call (most of the time I was on hold) was told there was nothing they could do and I was out $267! I have a 22i bike and the bike and the company are THE WORST! I would never buy another product from them. I received the bike from my daughter who moved and didn't have room for it. It's 3 years old, when they gave it to me it had 45 rides on it! I taught spin for 3 years on bikes that were used multiple times a day 7 days a week and never had the trouble I've had with this bike in the 3 months I've had it. I've gotten 3 full rides out of the bike without any issues. After 1st ride, the computer board went out, after 46 rides! I called NordicTrack and they said it would $150 to have someone come look at it then if it needed a part I could either put it on myself (?!) or pay ANOTHER $100 to have the tech come back and put it on. Plus I had to pay for the part which included shipping AND handling (WTF?!), I literally live 15 min from NordicTrack in Cache Valley Utah. So when my daughter came for Christmas my son in law put the motor in, because I don't even have to pay a plumber to back and finish a job! Rode it ONE time and the resistance stopped working! So called again-it needed a new resistance motor! Paid for that and my son and I put it in last week. Took about an hour after watching their shitty YouTube video because their parts don't come with install instructions! Did two good rides and there's a scraping on the fly wheel, because I'm not a bike mechanic!! So I took it apart this morning to see if we just didn't put something back right....nope everything's on right and tight. The seat squeaks no matter how I adjust or tighten it and this morning after I put it back together I got in about 20 min before the screw that keeps the f-ing pedal on came out! So that will tighten down, but as soon as you pedal it loosens and falls out and the pedal comes off. So I got 30 min. I have literally had 3 full uninterrupted rides in 3 months. I literally HATE this bike. I hate this company. Oh and to get any kind of workout you have to pay for the FULL membership, the one that's cheaper gets you like 2 beginner rides. I cancelled it because I can do my own damn workout for free. Waste of money and time. I literally dread going down to exercise because IT'S ALWAYS SOMETHING! I don't know how they're in business. Let me describe how miserable my experience was with Icon and Pro Form. My initial purchase had some confusion with the deliver method and the cost. With a typical organization, the effort and process to resolve would be easy. With Icon 1. I Had to call more than a half dozen times with hold times up to an hour without answer. I have the screenshots to prove it. 2. When getting a hold of someone from sales or customer service, they told me they couldn't help and that I could only be helped by the returns department. 3. Used the chat feature on their website to get to the same dead end as above. Customer Service wouldn't help. 4. Sent 4 different emails trying to get someone to respond or call. Ultimately, my treadmill was left on my porch which was the free delivery option. Icon charged me $99 despite that delivery service being being free. I question the leadership and business practice of an organization who treat their customers this way. I have three different ProForm pieces of equipment and love them but not the customer support. My rower stopped working and I had to call customer support. After waiting on hold for 43 minutes a rep came on the line. I asked several times if the issue could possibly be my plug. He said no several times. I asked for a tech to come to my house which took 16 days for them to show up and $174 dollars. Within 5 minutes the tech said it was the adapter and left. I was going to purchase a treadmill from ProForm because they were having a new year's sale that was $2000 off, that should have been a red flag right there. So I went through the financing and was approved. I added on the 5 year warranty for an additional $300 and the service for them to deliver the machine, set it up and haul away the old machine, also for an additional $300. I got notification that I was being charged for the machine itself, but the warranty and the delivery/setup/haul away services were not able to be charged. So I first tried to call about fixing that. I was unable to reach anyone after a few days of trying and hours of waiting on hold. Everything started to feel like a scam to me so I immediately cancelled the credit card that I had set up the financing on, and I checked to make sure there were no charges on it before cancelling. I then get a notification that the card (which I cancelled) now had a charge on it. So they not only RE-OPENED the card account without my authority, they put a charge on it! So I again got on the and tried to get a hold of someone, to no avail. I started leaving bad reviews on their facebook posts and magically someone from their company contacted me via facebook messenger. After literally 3 days (yes, you read that right, 3 DAYS!) of back and forth, I was told that I would have to refuse the delivery when they called to schedule it. So I got the call from the delivery company, and big surprise, the delivery company says there is nothing they can do, I have to talk to the company that I bought it from. Sooooo, another hour on hold and I FINALLY got through to someone and they said they would take care of the order and they would NOT let it ship here. Long story short, this company is a complete scam and only wants to take your money. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!! read more

Really not happy with the company ProForm used to deliver my treadmill. The email ProForm sent me said: To ensure your safety during the delivery process, our specialists will be wearing Personal Protective Equipment (mask and gloves). We ask that you practice social distancing during the delivery of your item by allowing our specialists six feet of space. No gloves or masks were worn. When they called to schedule the time I was told I'd get a 30 minute call prior to arrival. Nope, they called while they were in the front of the house, were rude to me, threatened to leave it by the mailbox, and tried to tell me it wasn't that heavy. I reminded them I paid for threshold delivery so they did bring it up, shoved it through the door, mashing up the carpet, and when I asked them to be careful told me I should have moved the carpet and turned and walked out. read more

I would only recommend Proform/ IFIT if you are seeking AGGRAVATION !! I actually don't know how they run a company with the horrible, ineffective customer service/support...it seems more that they go out of their way to do nothing...and their attitudes are even worse - they could care less. It's beyond upsetting to buy exercise equipment that was broken before even using - and any other normal company would have provided more personalized service and accommodation to help....well, not this company. Seriously, I think the word - NO - is their favorite word - the team there lacks any accountability or resourcefulness - they're not looking to solve issues for a positive experience...and I was talking to a Support Supervisor, no less...she must have been a Supervisor of Nothing! My equipment isn't working and it's Brand New - Never Used....and the best suggestion she could offer is to sell me another machine of theirs and just ditch the one I have! HA! I can not recommend ProForm to anyone, at this time. Here is my experience: Ordered a bike. Was supposed to receive a call for scheduling delivery. No call; bike was left in my driveway while I was out of town. Bike arrived with 12+ missing parts. Ordered missing parts. Order was still missing 10+ parts. Ordered additional missing parts. Wrong parts were sent. Called to order correct part, was told it was out of stock, easier to replace entire bike. Set up replacement. After replacement was set up, was told, actually, parts are in stock. I'm a month in from receiving this bike, and I still cannot use it. read more

Would love to give them a zero. There is no reaching a human for customer service - at all. I have tried repeatedly and spent hours on hold. I registered my bike and went to the site myifit.com for help as recommended on the recording reached at customer service - page is not available. Login does not work to check warranty for which I registered. The bike is making a horrible clicking sound which started about four days after I got it. The touchscreen is horribly sluggish and the seat uncomfortable. I wish I could return it, as it wa a total waste of nearly a thousand dollars. Do not even consider one of their products. read more

I bought a top of the line Tour de France bike about 3 years ago. Within the 1st 3 months, it stopped working with Google maps. I spent the next 9 months trying to get them to tell me over the phone how to fix it. They just kept sending me a link that didn't work, while I was a paying iFit member. ProForm claimed it was iFit and vice versa. Neither willing to honor the warranty and iFit trying to sell me someone to come out and see what was wrong and making sure to tell me I'd have to pay for anything else they could find. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK. I'm going to sell this albatross eventually. But I'll never buy anything from NordicTrak or ProForm again. (Both are the same company. I purchased the ProForm treadmill 2 years ago and the 4 year extended warranty. In November 2022 it started making a horrible noise whenever it went faster than 3.0 mph. I contacted ProForm/ iFit and informed them of the problem along with my warranty information. Over the past 6 months we have traded emails and they have asked me for the same information several times. I even sent them a video with the noise very apparent. Their latest email asked me to dismantle the treadmill, tighten the bolts, take the motor cover off, go under the treadmill and see if there is any part missing, etc. Isn't that whet the technician should do under the terms of the extended warranty? I called again and waited another hour and was told it was being picked up by Ryder 3 weeks later. Finally after waiting 2 weeks after it was alleged to be picked up by the shipper I called again. The console on my elliptical stopped working. It has a "no bootable device" error. Customer service (if you can reach anyone) is not helpful, since I don't have a receipt from my purchase a few years ago. The customer service representative refused to let me speak with their supervisor and wouldn't transfer me to the parts department. I have found that their out-of-warranty webpage where you can order replacement parts shows that the console is out of stock... which isn't surprising since they are defective. Really a poor customer experience for something that should be (is) covered by the manufacturer warranty. No solution available, no resolution offered, and after telling me that his manager was not available and that all the manager would do is tell me the same information, he hung up on me. read more

Bought a Proform treadmill December 2020. Belt rubbing and making a horrible noise an issue out of the box. Purchased an expensive 5 year warranty and 5 months later still waiting for a tech to call me. I have been given instructions on how to adjust the belt and even sent a new roller (see attached pic) without anyone professional having been to my house to diagnose that is the issue. Then I was asked "if I felt comfortable installing it or if I would like a tech to do it." Naturally, I asked for a tech to come and perform the warranty work. Still waiting... To send a part without confirmation that it will fix the issue tells me that it is a common problem and to steer clear of this company and go elsewhere. read more

Wish I could give this company negative stars. I bought a Proform Carbon EL elliptical and it worked alright. It was very creaky but it got the job done. After eight months one day it just stopped working. The screen did not register movement or control the machine (eg increase resistance). We contacted customer service and they had us take apart the machine ourselves. The internal mechanism was broken. Customer service wouldn't send a technician, schedule a replacement, or give a refund. I sent them videos in 4 different formats and they claimed they couldn't open the videos. They sent a part which wouldn't fix the machine. Such gross incompetence. This has been going on for over two months. Even reporting them to Better Business Bureau didn't help. I can't believe this company is still in business. I wish I knew how terrible the product and company is before buying from them. Seems like everyone has problems. Poor quality machines and the worst customer service. Stay away! read more

Like most here, I had a terrible response time via e-mail for my Proform 5000 support ticket. It was three weeks of no responses despite several requests for status. On the positive side, I decided to call ICON, the servicing company, and was lucky to talk to a wonderful lady, Caren. She took the time to understand the problems I have with my machine and found options to help me. Despite the bad service experience with ICON, people like Caren make the difference for the company. If I would have dealt with Caren from on beginning I would have given five stars. read more

Today is 10/13 and they have no idea when it will ship and it has not even been assigned to a warehouse. Very frustrating as they got their money right away! Update! tablet stopped working (unable to reset Etc. with support, so they issued a replacement that would be on the way "soon") We waited no called back 2 weeks later, we were told then that the part was on back order but we will get it"within the next week upon arrival to be the first on the next list and we'll get shipping upgrade" (I am not mentioning the long wait and transfers each being 40 mins plus for every call!). Tho there's three weeks later, we called wondering what was going on...well our part will be "build" and generally replacement take 5 weeks. Shame on us. Oh well. I guess other agents aren't aware... 6 calls and 3+MONTHS, many lies and false expectations Plus 1 ESCALATION later we RECEIVED THE WRONG CONSOLE PART!! The 2k equipment is a paperweight! Any fineness equipment from other manufacturers held up better and longer. The customer service is a nightmare and now we have to go through it all again, having to explain what was messed up (wires and plugs don't match up, wrong cable boards on the board as there is a different plug style needed to connect the wires on the board... and heaven forbid to self fix this IF you are not tech savvy because we are but there is nothing we can fix if we get I correctly wired electric board plugs lol) . So ignore the companies replied to "call them to resolve the trouble" as THATS WHAT WE HVE BEEN DOING FOR MONTHS! Don't buy Pro-form. If you still do, activate the warranty. And avoid getting a model with built in tablet! Get one without or one that synches to YOU tablet of choice! What never ding nightmare! I wish at this point we could just get our money back...and I won't renew my iFIT membership any longer. Won't every buy from them again as this is just an awful waste of time and money. read more

Buyer Beware-I bought three machines, a weight bench and weights. I paid over 5K....one machine was delivered damaged and I was told they would send a replacement. That did not happen. One of the other machines stopped working after three uses. The hold times are upward of four hours to get assistance and I have called four times to get these issues resolved. To date (six weeks) I still have two broken machines and have been told some of the parts are on a six month back order. At this point, I want the machines picked up and returned but was told that I would be responsible for $250 per machine plus a 10% restocking fee per machine and the $99 per machine set up fee. read more

We placed our order months ago and were given a ship date due to the existing gap in their supply chain management and manufacturing. The ship date has come and gone and they can't even give me an idea of when the product will ship. Terrible service and communication - avoid this company at all costs. I contacted Ifit/Proform on November 18, 2022 in regards to my treadmill turning on, but not working. They said the treadmill was out of warranty and they would have to send a technician out to diagnose the treadmill. Once the treadmill was diagnosed they would send a technician out to replace the defective part. I explained if the cost would be too much I would just purchase a new treadmill. I paid for the diagnosis and the Ifit/Proform stated the computer board needed to be replaced. I asked the Ifit/Proform rep if it was another part what other cost would I incur. The Ifit/Proform stated I would only have to pay for the part since I initially paid for the diagnosis and the cost of the technician to come out. I paid the initial fee and waited for my part to arrive. The part finally arrived on January 4, 2023. The technician came out only to tell me Ifit/Proform shipped the wrong part. I then conacted Ifit/Proform and waited another month until the part arrived on February 7, 2023 only to be told by the technician the part did not fix the treadmill. The technician said the motor was the issue and needed to be replaced. I then waited another month until March 8, 2023 for the motor to arrive. At this time the treadmill repair company told me they no longer had a technician in the area and I would have to contact Ifit/Proform. I contacted Ifit/Proform only to be told that I would be charged another service to repair my treadmill. I explained to them I had already paid the service charge and at this point had now waited 6 months to get my treadmill repaired and if the technician from the company I already paid was in the area I wouldn't have to pay anything. The representative continued to repeat they would not send out a technician without another service charge. At this point I'm just disappointed in the terrible customer service I received from Ifit/Proform. I had a great treadmill, but will never purchase another treadmill from Ifit/Proform. I got an elliptical from this company. It was fairly priced, but it SUCKS!!!!!! I would also like to mention that I have had this item for less than a week. The assembly instructions are so hard to follow, and mine came with parts missing. I reached out to the company to get these parts sent to me, and in order to get them sent, I have to buy a 159.99 dollar warranty for the product. Worst customer service ever! Got my bike delivered and put together which cost almost $300. Guy calls me over and says it has no power and once it's built I can't take it back. So I contact customer service and they take a couple pictures say that they will mail out new wires so I will have to wait for that and then wait for the tech to contact me for an appt to fix the bike if that's the problem. Then she comes on the phone and says that the parts are out of stock!!! I get transferred to the return department the women tells me she can send out a new bike in a couple weeks but I can't get reimbursed for my troubles. We bought pro-form Pro-hit14 in July of 2021. initial problem started when "certified" technician attempted to put together but did a poor job and had left over parts. 2nd technician came out a week later and put it together and no extra parts left over. It worked well for a couple of months then display screen screen went dark in September of 2022. We have had 3 technicians come out to "fix" it, but standard verbage is to say it wil be up and Running in 3-5 days (It has been 5 months). Since then we have spent about 13-15 hours possibly more talking with extended warranty department, regular warranty department, parts and service, iFit, and other Pro-form departments. Seems their business model is to transfer you from department to department and frustrate you as mush as possible so you just give up. This machine is a piece of shit and the customer service/company is about the same. Would not recommend this machine OR any product from this company unless you are hoping to get an Ulcer, induce a heart attack, or have your aneurysm rupture. read more
