THEY OVERCHARGED ME ON A T-SHIRT THAT I NORMALLY ONLY PAY $26 FOR AT SPORTSMAN'S WAREHOUSE(other locations) specifically the (Bend Oregon location & Hillsborough Oregon), SPORTSMAN'S WAREHOUSE. For example at the other sportsman's warehouse locations, the LEUPOLD HATS ARE ONLY $20 a hat, here at this location they price them $30+ (no I'm not a picky liberal, just a working man trying to pay a fair price, not to mention I've spent thousands over the years at sportsman's warehouse) Posted a Picture for transparency. Sportsman's warehouse should Treat customers as customers, not cash cows or turn and burn operation. DO BETTER! Went to the Riverdale store recently to browse/buy a handgun. I had done my research on-line and was ready to buy. I went to the gun counter, browsed for a few minutes, then stood at the counter waiting for help. Granted, the employees were busy, but nobody acknowledged me. I stood there for 15 minutes...and nothing. I get it, it's the holiday season and several people were at the counter, but the part that is irritating were the two customers who arrived after me that were helped first. I know the employees knew I was there as I made eye contact with them while standing at the counter. Anyways, I got tired of waiting and left. I'll buy a gun elsewhere. However, if you have the time to waste, I'm sure it's a great place to buy a gun. read more

Went in today looking for something that stated it was in stock at the store. When I got there, I couldn't find it so I asked someone for help. They told me, oh just go look on this wall. So, I did. Wasn't there. Went back and asked someone to look it up. It was supposed to be in stock. Apparently, it wasn't. Nobody bothered to help me that much until the end. I just think this place AA gone down in service and up in prices. Another big store consumed by greed. read more

Update - the general manager of the store, Andy along with the regional manager, Justin reached out and went above and beyond to make things right. We were invited back to the store and Andy definitely took very good care of us. Although the experience here started off on a bad note, it definitely ended on a very good one and we'll definitely continue to shop at Sportsman's. read more

I am a former employee at Sportsmans warehouse. This is a store that is not good to work for nor is good to shop at. management does not care about their employees and they never post the schedules on time when I was working there and they still don't I recommend to all the people that shot at sportsman to find a different store to go shop at because this one's management and some of their employees are not very nice people and will do anything just get paycheck read more

This place could (and should) be a total outdoorsy, hunting, fishing, shooting nirvana. Well, it is and it isn't. There's a lot of retail space here dedicated to a wide variety of product. Fishing and hunting take up the largest footprint, clothing is a pretty good chunk, and camping / cooking have the smallest spot in the store although still sizable. I use this store mainly for a place to buy smoker and bbq accessories along with the randomly needed cooler, etc. I can usually find someone with some knowledge in the department and like all true BBQ lovers, they will talk your ear off about what they love about their own equipment. Prices are not high and not low, you can find reasonable deals on products and can catch a great value on sale items when they happen. HUGE selection of outdoor cook gear in this place. The fishing and hunting departments are not my favorite. I'm not the World's best hunter or fisherman and asking questions isn't met with the same fervor that you get in the cooking department. The help isn't necessarily condescending but they don't act like they are real interested in getting you in to the sport. I've also looked through their knives and glass. Good selection of scopes and binoculars but I found the camping / survival knives to be a little lower on the quality chain than I was looking for. read more

Purchased an item and went to return it the next day, I met all the requirements on the back of the receipt and the online policy. The manger wouldn't give me the time of day, she told they have a local store policy (which apparently isn't available until you return something) and she walked away ... okay. It wasn't that big of a return but left such a sour taste I haven't been back. read more

I was in the the store working with one of my clients and their dog, the dog is training to be a therapy dog. Sportsman's warehouse claims to be dog friendly and sells things FOR dogs. Keep in mind this dog is extremely well behaved, has her canine good citizen title and is about a month away from a therapy dog test. We were standing in the back away from people working on leash walking. The manager comes out from the back, gets in my face and yells "what are we doing training dogs here, we are a place of business". I said no we are just working on a few things and socialization (several customers had wanted to pet her which was great) and I told him I needed to get some scent (which was true) to purchase before I left. He was such an Ahole about it, he all but asked us to leave. I will NOT give this establishment my money and will tell all of my clients not to take dogs thier or buy things for their dog there. Cablea's gives our dog treats, Big 5 is always happy to see us, tractor supply has dog treats, home depot has dog treats, IFA has dog treats. Get with the program management. read more
