Communication was clear and direct and they even showed me the horrible state my breaks and rotors had been. My only complaint was the exspensive cost I had to pay because I used a card for my method of payment. I was qouted $899 however because I didnt have cash I had to pay a processing fee which was a ridiculous amount bringing my total to $932. A person not being told that prior to service is very upsetting to shell out extra money because I didnt pay in cash seems unfair. Please explain to your patrons the difference or give the rates for cash vs card up front as this would help people decide if it is financially doable. Regardless I feel minus the extra fees on my car I will continue to return but will only pay cash .

Also I looked for a good mechanic with high quality. When I called R$T transmission they during 5 minutes to describe the price and full process includes parts. We scheduled an appointment. I dropped off in an appointment day car. After a few days the car was ready ( I did not push guys) . In Pick up day car was ready. I tested (drive around) and paid balance. Ultimately, rather than just go for the rebuild, they both said that the transmission is still surprisingly strong and they recommend not to touch it, but if I do experience a problem, take note of the situation and what I was doing, so they can try to replicate it. I was surprised at the time it took to repair, they said a week, and once the work was started it was a week. The repair bill was far less than the other shop and I don't know how long I would have been without a car. The car gave me trouble after I got it, so I took it back. The mechanic looked at it and told me it was an air flow problem. I am very familiar with that term. The part was cleaned and I was told it might work, and it did for 2 days. I found a repair shop that was fair and the car seems to be running fine now. I don't blame the repair shops, my car is a problem car, but its the comfort and ease of getting into it that has me going to repair shops ,very few cars are senior sensitive.

I came in looking to swap Chevy Astro transmission and the high selling point with California transmission would be completed in a one day turnaround. In the end up having to wait three days to get my vehicle To make matters worse, they failed to properly reconnect my oil dipstick to the engine block, which is a basic but critical oversight.
