It was good only because the job got done but they caused a difference problem with my 02 sensor and tried to blame it on me. I had no check engine light on before I brought my vehicle to the shop but somehow they disconnected my 02 sensor and I had to return the next day to have it fixed. They left my vehicle dirty and greasy after both visits which was very upsetting for me. I was not greeted or treated with respect and I will never return to this shop as a result. It is as if they purposefully left my shift knob greasy on both occasions which I thought was weird because I complained about this the first day (time) and it happened again when I picked up my car the second (day) time. David gave me a price over the phone and in person. When I dropped my vehicle off and paid my deposit he changed the price from 1800 to 2500 he called me as I was driving home. I had to Go back to the car shop and pick up my car. He then told me he would pay for the tow for the inconvenience but I had to come pick the money on another day. update: Yes you guys quoted me $850+ tax WITH WARRANTY and even you said "if we replace the torque converter only it might not work right there would be NO WARRANTY" & Yes I declined the SINGLE "front bottom mount" that I was told and it shows on the notes on my receipt now you're telling me there was more than one broken mount and on top of a driveshaft axel? I got 2 mounts replaced at another shop a day after since the car would shake like crazy, I know I'm not lying and this isn't a negative review it's an honest review that it wasn't a great experience for me, not that it will be the same for someone else thank you! read more

I have a 2012 Ford Focus which was giving me transmission problems in December of 2020. I chose this place due to the good reviews on here and I am adding another one now almost a year later. Rodolfo explained the issues with the car along with what work and parts were needed in order to fix. When I first dropped off the car I was loaned a vehicle from their shop to get by which was a really really cool gesture. It was an oldie but a goodie! After receiving my car the issue persisted so I returned it within the week. I am in the process of restoring a mid '80s truck. I paid Rodolpho a visit to get a cost on potentially rebuilding my transmission, and to see about diagnosing some other sounds and ticks going on with the truck. We went for a drive, and I was able to observe his reactions and ask questions. It was obvious right away that he has a wealth of knowledge and experience. He shared with me where potential problems may come up, helped to explain how transmission of the era function/how they are serviced, and helped me make an informed decision on where/what to service next. D&E did not service the truck but in retrospect I wish I would have paid him for their time, as they provided diagnostics and insight that I needed. This is the second rebuild of the transmision. It shifts as well as it did when it was new, much better than the last rebuild. They worked with me in determining if it needed a torque converter which it did. I was not surprised as it was not replaced with the prior rebuild. They also replaced the rear main seal (leaking) and rear transmission mount (broken). D&E has reasonable labor rates and do good work. read more

First let me start by saying I had no idea what happened to my truck as I started to accelerate up a slight hill in the rain and my vehicle wouldn't go pass 5mph with a loud noise. I quickly coasted off to the side of the road with the little power I had left called AAA he then informed me it was my transmission and asked if I'd like to be towed to an AAA approved repair shop. I declined as asked to be towed home because I like to research and read on the companies and businesses I give my hard earned money to. I was informed of a place in Bellflower but declined because it was $2000, I went on yelp searched locations near me and D & E was first on the list I called explained what happened was given a GOOD quote over the phone so I had the vehicle towed over and was given an even better quote in person after Ruben and his crew inspected my vehicle. I agreed on the rebuilding of my transmission left a deposit and two days later got a call my vehicle was good to go paid in full and was told if ANYTHING goes wrong or something don't feel right give them a call and he'll get right on it, well I took that to heart :) because I even called Ruben regarding other vehicles or simple things about my own vehicle and he has helped me without any hesitation.
