I booked an appointment for tomorrow, Jan 12th, 4 months ago. I just got a call 10 minutes ago that they doubled booked my appointment and that I will not be able to come get my hair done. The other person that they gave my spot to had just made the appointment last Friday. They chose to give her the appointment over me. I have spent many years and many many hundreds of dollars at this salon to be treated that I'm not important enough to be able to keep my appointment because they gave it to someone else. read more

I was very unhappy with the service. I got my balayage touched up and added more to my hair. It didn't come out the color I wanted and when I expressed that I was unhappy the worker didn't ask me why. My hair lifts really easily and my hair takes color pretty well. I have never had a problem. The other thing was that she didn't do it even and my hair looks horrible. I will definitely not recommend it to any friends or coworkers and will not be going back. read more

I had Morgan do my hair. I was suppose to go in for just a haircut but she was able to squeeze me in for a balayage and a haircut. She did absolutely amazing. I love my haircut and color. I will never go here again. Every hair lady I go to talks about how badly the last one did, and, for a split second, I have faith that they are the one to finally end my search for a hairstylist. That did not happen here. At this point, I had become so familiar with wacky uneven haircuts that it was really no surprise when I looked in the mirror and saw choppy uneven ends. The haircut I got from this place was particularly uneven and choppy that I decided to go back, but sadly even when given a second chance they failed to redeem themselves. I felt like my hairstylist was semi-new to cutting hair and didn't know what she was doing. The staff were also not very friendly and made the experience less comfortable. I will not be going back or ever recommending this place. read more

My mother, my oldest daughter and myself went here for Mother's day one year because our appointments at Charisma had to be cancelled due to a family death (Charisma's)... so they suggested Salon Progressions. My mom had a great experience overall, except they did not have time for her pedicure. My daughter and I on the other hand got short ended. We were told there would not be enough time for all the services we had requested... this came the day of after them knowing what we had wanted prior to our appointment. So, we were told only one of us could have a massage that day! I let her since she had never had one professionally. And then when they waxed my eyebrows.... uh they pretty much balded me!!! I was seriously disappointed and we will never go back. Our meal was catered from Piccadilly's which I normally love... but it tasted like and appeared to have been sitting around at room temperature for far too long. I Progression's! I have been going there for 10 years and seeing the same stylist - she is kind of like a sister to me now, lol. I look forward to going and getting my hair done each time. It is my quiet mommy time. I get to have great conversation, and I know my stylist truly cares about me and making me feel good. She has been through a lot with my in these 10 years, but has always been there to brighten my day (or week) when I needed it. I highly recommend checking out Progression's. Went in for an all over color and left with color still in my hair. I didn't realize until I was half way down the street and my head started to itch and burn and saw color on my nails. You would think that the stylist would see it while straightening my hair. when I went back they had a hard time finding someone to wash my hair out and restyle it. read more

I enjoyed my visit to Progressions hair salon and day spa. The decor is relaxing, it is not real noisey, and I didn't have to wait a long time. I was pleased with the excellent hair cut and color. Every year my husband gives me a day at the spa. This year it was at Progression. The massage therapist, Nichole, was the best I've ever had.The spa was beautiful and everyone was so friendly. They gave me a tour of the place and I was definetely impressed with all the services they provide. Last year I received one from Healing Waters and after all the bells and whistles I received a decent day and a mediocre massage. I would recommend Progressions Salon and Day Spa with no hesitation. read more

This salon lacks all decorum. I used to go here when I lived in town. i just recently moved back and wanted to schedule an appointment with my old hair stylists. She apparently just stopped working at the salon, and I understand why. The receptionist and manager trash talked her in front of me. In addition, they did not dress respectfully. If I wanted to see that much cleavage, I would have gone to a bar. I am in my mid 20s and see no reason for women to dress like that. This salon has gone downhill. It is no longer a respectable place to get hair done. read more
