I always waited for between 30 and 90 minutes from my appointment time before being seen by him, and when he finally did come by the exam room I was waiting in, our interaction never lasted more than 5 minutes. I wouldn't go so far as to say that he seemed disinterested in treating me, but he certainly seemed rushed. The billing was generally confusing, and during one appointment I was charged an additional $200 to compensate for errors and omissions in the previous bills. At no point was I given any indication of how much various procedures or equipment would cost me out of pocket, and I had to go out of my way (requesting printouts of itemized bills) to even figure out what I was being charge for.

She's been such a calming influence when I have needed it most. She has helped me with stress at home and at work, with physical ailments, including conserving energy and improving my breathing (which in turn is calming). One of the things I like best about her is that she seems completely there for you - she soaks up information about you, listens carefully, and then sets about addressing the things you tell her are bothering you. She gives you space to unload, unwind, and by the end of the session, I always feel calm and rested. I think Gillian is especially good for someone who's never done alternative therapies before. You don't feel like you're entering some alternate reality; she doesn't bowl you over with needles and chakras. She's a very regular person, just attentive and subtle, and you often don't realize she's needling you . . . and by the way, these needles are like sewing needles, teeny tiny. Dr. Cradic's adjustments are exceptionally good. He is unusually strong, incredibly fast, and very precise. Parts of my spine, especially in the upper spine between my shoulder blades, often would get stuck and resistant to moving. Dr. Cradic reliably gets them moving, with adjustments that are incredibly fast. Dr. Cradic also used a couple of adjustments that were extremely effective, but I had never seen before. This includes an adjustment of the shoulders that has done wonders for my pain and ability to work out intensively. In addition to adjusting my spine, Dr. Cradic has also helped with my wrists and even an issue I was having with my feet. He mentioned that his chiropractic expertise is actually enhanced by additional training in osteopathy. This, combined with skill and experience, may help explain why his adjustments are so phenomenal. The appointments begin with a combination of heat and electrical stimulation to relax the muscles, followed by a roller table. Sometimes, the roller table comes first, followed by heat/stim. After that, he does the adjustments, along with any soft tissue work that is needed. For example, in my case, he often uses a massage gun on my shoulders and rotator cuff, which I have found quite helpful. The hygiene is also good. For example, each person has a set of pads used for the electrical stimulation assigned to them. You get your own pads, rather than sharing pads. Equipment, tables, etc. are wiped down after each use. One concern I had was parking. That part of Silver Spring can be tricky to park in. However, there is a parking garage right across the street with plenty of room. I have never had any difficulty parking. There is also some limited street parking, but with the garage right there, I have never bothered with it.

But he made sure that as long as I made certain changes with the type of shoes I wear, possible shots and stretches with a night boot would drastically improve my issues...and they have. I still have options later on but I just appreciate the modesty and keeping in mind of my finances. His staff as well are very sweet and have pleasurable dispositions.
