Christina in his office is amazing and very knowledgeable and did everything she could to help with schedules and gave direction with what to do next and explained anything that was needed and helped with handling a lot on her own to help with my father's appointments. Same for Nellie, who is the nurse for doctor Kapoor. She listens and is respectful. Doctor Kapoor is the surgeon. A bit standoffish, but excellent at what she does. Doctor Sharf is the oncologist. A wonderful young woman who is very smart, caring, has amazing empathy, and knows her stuff. Cons: You will not reach the office when you call. It will be a centralized center, who will then take a message, or determine whether your call should be put through. I do not like that at all. Parking is a huge problem. It's street metered, on busy Ventura Boulevard, or take out a loan to park in the building.

The emergency room experience was interesting. Not bad. Not amazing. More like "we're renovating…read moreand everyone is doing their best with the group project." The place looks like it's getting a facelift, so I'll give them that. Fresh walls may be coming. New energy may be loading. But right now the organization still feels like it's buffering. The doctor was cool. That helped a lot. Calm energy. Normal conversation. Didn't make the visit feel heavier than it already was. In an emergency room, that matters because nobody pulls up there for fun. Nobody is saying, "Let's see what the ER is doing tonight." You want people who can make a stressful situation feel a little less chaotic. The security setup was the confusing part. You can walk in with the patient without being registered as a guest, but once you step out, now it's a whole process. Badge. Registration. Security check. Side quest unlocked. Why not just do that at the beginning? It felt like airport TSA designed a scavenger hunt inside a hospital. Some of the machines weren't working when we got there, so getting vitals checked took a while. That was weird. It's an emergency room. The machines should be awake before we are. A hospital with machines not working is like Starbucks saying the coffee machine is down. Technically possible. Emotionally unacceptable. The receptionist was definitely having a day. I get it. We all have those. But at a hospital front desk, the vibe matters. People are stressed. Worried. Confused. Already thinking WebMD gave them three hours to live. A little warmth would go a long way. You don't need Disney cast member energy. Just maybe less "you interrupted my villain origin story." The atmosphere felt like a hospital mid-glow-up. Construction energy. Moving parts. A few systems that need tightening. Not terrible. Just noticeably not smooth. Overall, the experience was still good because the doctor and staff helped keep things steady. But the ER flow could use better organization, working equipment, and a front desk vibe that says "we got you" instead of "why are you bleeding near my paperwork?" it's giving... Grey's Anatomy if the hospital admin team had one group chat and nobody checked it.

Our experience, almost from start to finish, was amazing! We went to the ER and were taken in almost immediately. Testing and diagnosis happened rapidly, and my wife was treated quickly. We have been to ERs where we thought "is anyone paying attention?" It was not like that at all. The nurses were friendly, professional, and attentive. Most impressive of all was our doctor, Dr. Cynthia Pfieffer, whose genuine compassion and warm demeanor has us both considering establishing this hospital as our primary care facility.

I am not prone to rating doctors unless they are truly amazing and trustworthy, and I can say he is one of them. I was in a really dark time both mentally and physically, and he was able to bring clarity without dismissing how I felt and that made me realize he actually cared about me as a patient. Growing up, I was the girl with constant stomach issues. The doctors I saw back then always told me I had gastritis; so I received many meds for it, on and off over the years. However, I experienced new and increasing symptoms months before coming here. I was told by my insurance I had to wait close to a year for those procedures because that's the reality for many with medical insurance. I felt horrible every day and the pains were more frequent, so I decided to search for another Gastroenterologist and that's how I came across United Gastroenterologists and of course, Dr. E., and I highly recommend seeing him for the following reasons: He listened to my symptoms and concerns without dismissing any particular worry or interrupting me with the usual "You're too young for that" or "Just take this medication for your symptoms". He always kept a professional and respectful bedside manner, plus he made me feel comfortable and at ease while discussing my issues and never rushed me out the door. He scheduled me for my procedures less than a month after I first saw him, and I had no complications during or after any of the two procedures. Since neither of the two procedures showed further issues (I didn't even have Gastritis!), he suggested I take a Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth test (which no other doctor had ever mentioned before) because many of my symptoms overlapped with SIBO. Well, I eventually got the SIBO test through my referral with the other GI specialist and I tested positive! Despite that, I'm glad I came across Dr. Eshaghian and he was able to perform those procedures ahead of time because no one should have to wait A YEAR for such crucial and potentially life-saving procedures! I also believe every person with chronic gastrointestinal issues should definitely see a gastroenterologist (Dr. E) because there's nothing better than getting a proper diagnosis with the right specialist.

We waited in the lobby for 15 minutes and the receptionist received 5 calls. Each were on speaker phone and we could hear the patients first and last name and what they were going through. I highly doubt that they would want to know that they were on speaker phone during a medical call. This was an immediate red flag. The doctor is nice. Seems pretty knowledgeable and knows what he's talking about. Just a nice guy. Would recommend him!! Been here twice now and the woman that checks people out and goes over all of the instructions for the colonoscopy is kind as well. Stars are based on receptionist violating hipaa

Dr. Yong has been one of the most impactful physicians I have ever had…read more I came to her with long-standing chronic pain and fatigue that had affected my quality of life for years. Instead of brushing it off or treating symptoms in isolation, she took the time to do an incredibly thorough history and truly listen. Her special training and interest in sleep health led her to identify a diagnosis that had been completely missed for over 35 years. Because of her insight, I am finally receiving appropriate treatment for something I had unknowingly been living with most of my life. In addition to that, I have complex medical and orthopedic issues, and Dr. Yong has been an essential guide in helping me navigate all of it. She looks at the whole picture, not just one problem at a time. Her strong connections with specialists and thoughtful referrals have made a huge difference in the level of care I've been able to access. Dr. Yong is thorough, compassionate, and deeply committed to her patients. I always feel heard, taken seriously, and supported. I am incredibly grateful to be under her care. She provides regular and frequent follow-ups, as well as consistent communication. I am extremely lucky to have her supporting my health.

I've been with her for over a year now specifically to resolve chronic obesity that I have struggled with most of my adult life. It has been a life changing experience. On top of working on my weight she has become my GP and either treats or refers me out for any health issues that arise. From Poison Oak to Inner ear issues, she will guide you through it all. She is extremely pro-active with whole health management and dedicated to making sure her patients lead long healthy lives feeling the best they possibly can. I searched for years and visited multiple doctors before I found her. If you are looking for a doctor that will take your health seriously and will work with you long term, she's your gal! I was pleasantly surprised that her office had moved from a medical building into a private residential home across the street. The parking is easy, and I feel so much more comfortable in this home like setting. The house doubles as a sleep research center in the evenings, so don't be surprised by the cameras and some of the equipment. It is used to monitor overnight patients during sleep studies. I love the girls who run her office!! They are integral to her successful practice. I have come to know and adore them over the last year. Booking appointments, prescriptions, referrals are always a smooth easy process. Most of their communication is done by email, which I love and prefer. They are professional and kind, running a quiet, peaceful office. With Marjorie's treatment and care I have seen remarkable success with weight loss. It has been done in a steady maintainable fashion all while regularly monitoring my blood work, bone and muscle mass, and blood pressure. It's never just about dropping pounds but about getting me to the healthiest version of myself. Thank you, Dr. Yong and Staff! You have truly changed my life for the better, I am so grateful for you.
