For example, she asked in rapid speech: "Does he sit?" I answered, unsure of her meaning (and wildly uncomfortable after a few minutes of her demeanor) "I suppose he sits before and after school." I thought it was a physical fitness question. Then she said, almost angrily: "No. Does he sit on the TOILET?" I laughed to break the tension, but the entire thing was really uncomfortable. The worst part is that my son grew more and more tense until his eyes were huge, and when she left the room for a minute he said to me, whispering: "She's mean, I wanna go home." In the end, we learned absolutely nothing from the visit. Also, the office staff behaves just as Dr. Collins does, acting as if you are really bothering them. They deal with you in a manner that is incredibly rushed, and they are very bothered by answering any questions. Strangely, we were their first patient of the morning, and there was no one else in the waiting room as we left. I urge you to find someone else with a bedside manner (especially because she deals with CHILDREN, and even as an adult the experience was awful), this visit was overwhelmingly bad in every way..

After 7 spinal surgeries, Throat, Lymph nodes cancer heart attacks in 2024 and a history of Peptic Ulcers from corporate management, worldwide and stress I never know if tomorrow will come. I was in so much pain I wanted it to just end. ER staff were quick and kind as well. CT Scan was taken and medications given fir my stomach. I called Dr. Hepps MD on Saturday from the hospital and he didn't rush me and explained how he could see me ASAP. He did. 3 days later I was in his office. SUCRALFATE RX and Ondansetron has helped. We do need an Endoscopy/Colonoscopy and Dr. Hepps is working on getting cardiologist, Dr. Gazi MD approval. I am on blood thinners so it's dangerous. I am very sick and we must see what is causing this (cysts, spots on colon. Gastritis, etc.?). Bless you and your staff doctor. You helped lower the temperature. They are corporately owned by Unio Health and the office treats you like a number, not a person. You can never get a person on the phone, rather it's leave a voice mail or use their web portal (that isn't the same name as the office--- Unio, a Genesis Health facility). If you leave a voice mail they promise to get back to you within 48 hours which is NOT acceptable. The phone tree is a time suck. They must be understaffed. Furthermore, they sign you up with a corporate "Health program" where an RN in Tennessee calls you to discuss and update your health. She's a generalist, not someone familiar with your chart. Then they charge your insurance (Medicare) for a "visit" when a doctor in this practice reviews some general information that the RN has sent to them. This reeks of unnecessary charges. I have never been seen by a physician in this office. Every appointment has been with a nurse practitioner, even though my symptoms have continued and I have repeatedly requested specialist care. My medication was not prescribed on time, and I was forced to obtain it myself. I have also been waiting for more than a year for an endoscopy and colonoscopy while continuing to experience daily pain, nausea, fatigue, and abdominal discomfort. My telephone appointment was canceled even though the office called me late. Instead of resolving the issue, my appointment was simply rescheduled. Patients with serious and ongoing health concerns deserve timely care, follow-up, access to specialists, and direct evaluation by a physician when necessary. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I have filed a complaint with my insurance company because I believe patients deserve better care and better access to treatment.
