No explanation, no medical reasoning just a flat-out refusal. I don't know about anyone else, but every time I've gone to the doctor, I've been able to talk to them about what's going on, and they recommend tests based on that conversation. Apparently, that's not how this place works. They just want you to come in, run a bunch of tests, and move on no actual discussion about your health. When I tried to push back and explain why that didn't make sense, the woman kept talking over me, cutting me off, and acting like I was the problem for even asking. I asked to speak to a manager, and instead of transferring me to someone who could actually help, she sent me to a coworker instead. When I finally got to the manager, she acted like I was making a big deal out of nothing and told me they'd have to "investigate" before addressing it. At that point, I just canceled my appointment because I couldn't trust this office to actually care about my health. I've never been to a doctor's office where they tell you can see the doctor, but you can't talk to them about your concerns. Seriously?? That is NOT how medical care is supposed to work. If you want to be listened to and actually treated like a patient, not just a number for insurance billing, I'd suggest looking somewhere else. The office also has loud music playing all throughout the office. Some of the staff have a cold demeanor. Not to mention the poor communication. Trying to get in contact via phone is impossible. It took nearly one week to actually speak to someone and get an answer to my billing concern. My overall experience was not the best and I would not recommend.

The Quest Diagnostics rep (person who takes your blood) is very kind and will work with you if you have issues with needles or having your blood drawn. Bad: VERY IMPORTANT: The medical assistants in this office represent themselves as "Nurses" - they are not nurses, they do not have degrees. It is important to know that they are MA's - medical assistants. I have personally experienced an hour and 15 minute wait for my appointment. The front staff are rude and cold and not at all what should represent Dr. Jenkins office, I did call and complain to the office manager Katie, to which there was no outcome because apparently we will all still survive covid with fabric masks and no husbands or kids allowed at appointments for a women's health visit. I have since had to seek an OBGYN elsewhere because I am a stay at home mom with no means of daycare with no family in the state to help care for my children during an important well woman check or even a pain check. This office used to be so family orientated and now it feels to have gone downhill.
