He left my service to younger girl in the office. He indicated to me after not getting any relief that he would adjust me every Monday. Did not happen! He did that just the 2 times. His wife, Gena had indicated to my wife that Dr Kerwin would call me to talk about concerns. Never happened! Again, this treatment plan was very expensive & to this day I am owed $1,200 on service not used. In my opinion, I would strongly suggest not using Dr Kerwin for neck pain relief. Bottom Line: The initial consultation is not free. Essentially, it costs $100 to sit down with the doctor. Wouldn't go there unless you are ready to commit to treatment otherwise your $100 will just go out the window.

It took several days to get my order for testing into the system (which is long, but I forgive her since she is new and learning the computer system). The NP put the order in for me. Pulled up to the ER, three people assisted me inside with a wheelchair, I had X-rays and found out it was only a very painful sprain, and was on my way home within an hour. An HOUR. Talk about drive through service, it was the best experience I've ever had in a hospital. The staff were LOVELY, very kind, they matched my anxious humor and made me feel safe and comfortable. This experience was the best one I've ever had with any medical professionals. They didn't question my pain or leave me waiting for hours like other emergency rooms I've been to have in the past. They were very sincere and caring and if I ever need anything, I'm going to this hospital.

First, parking is close and easy. Usually you can stay very close to the door. Second, the facility is small and check-in is fast and friendly and the waiting area is immediately accessible. They have a coffee machine, a table or two and standard chairs and couches for family and patients. There's also a TV and a monitor which tracks patient progress through their procedure for any waiting family or friends not inside with the patient. The interior waiting areas for patients having a procedure are standard hospital bays, with no doors, curtain access, but a recliner chair for companions or family members where they can stay throughout if they prefer. The privacy is perhaps minimal, but the access for the care time is easy and open. Every team member I've encountered here has been great - friendly, comforting, and this is important, they all seem to make a personal connection - even if it's small, that makes you feel seen as an individual. The Froedtert/Medical College is a massive organization and complex, so this is a very limited review of one area, which is the Center for Advanced Care, and specifically the Ear Nose and Throat Clinic. Been coming here for several years, and have always been impressed with the level of professionalism, and care. Especially the staff that work with Dr. David Poetker. Would recommend them to others that are struggling with ENT issues. Once you are in the proper parking structure, it's a quick ride up to the 5th floor. Get off the elevator and go east. Like the way everyone treat everybody. Some of the nurses are very friendly and so nice. I go here thru my husband's insurance plan. And the pharmacy is right there one block next to it. After reading about their physicians, I decided to call them for an appointment. I was able to schedule an appointment for 2/1/2027 when I made the appointment in March 2026. It was that far out because as a physician, I only like to see physicians, not midlevels (nurse practitioners or PAs -- side note, it is your right to ask to see a physician and not a midlevel). They did accomodate that request, but I had to wait almost a year for that appointment. In less than two months after making that appointment, I received a form letter saying that the physician with whom I had an appointment was no longer going to be seeing regular patients, only doing cosmetic derm, and she spent a lot of time deciding who she wanted me to go see -- she wanted me to see one of the PAs. Yeah, no. I can find another dermatologist. So while, I did not actually see anyone in the office, I did have experience with trying to establish care, requesting a physician, and then that being denied. As a physician, I will not tolerate being pushed to midlevels, and neither should anyone else.

She was told that everything looked fine. After time she started to experience pain and went to her doctor. The lump was cancerous and she had a mastectomy. A thermography detects heat. This cancer was encapsulated so it did not give off heat. Be aware that no-one told my friend this nor did they suggest she go to her doctor.

While I was waiting, another person showed up for the same person and the same appointment time. I have to say, Jen is a complete professional. She took me back to the room and got me started on paperwork. She came back and did the thermography. It goes so quickly. Painless and no smooshing your tatas. No radiation. Specially trained MD or DO reads the results of the scan. You will get your results in 3 to 5 days. She was able to fit the other person in right after me so it all worked out for everyone.
