The layout of the imaging suite I had was well designed and bathed with warm accent lighting. MRI machines are loud, so the technician offered ear plugs, head phones (with my choice of music) or both. I chose both enjoying some great 70's Eagles tunes to pass the time while the GE 3T MRI performed its magic. There was an issue getting my Doctor's imaging order communicated to MH Imaging, but that was not MH Imaging's fault. Once I got the order corrected and resent from my physician's office, the MRI image scan process went smoothly. I want to personally thank MH Imaging for making this State of the Art MRI technology available and price competitive vs. other Milwaukee area imaging options. I arrived about fifteen minutes late due to confusion with their multiple locations on the same street (Layton ave in Milwaukee)--there's another center just two miles away, which is an understandable mix-up. However, the receptionist showed no empathy or effort to understand the situation. When I tried to explain that I was in severe pain and needed to be scanned urgently and also drove 30 miles, she refused to listen, said 'I'm not gonna speak with you anymore' and 'I think you need to leave now.' She offered only 'I can get you in tomorrow' before turning her back on me. I'm sure I'm not the first patient to mix up the locations, especially since only the main facility shows up online. Not to mention she also condoned a hostile patients threatening behavior towards me. Their follow-up communications are also vague and don't even include appointment times. As a healthcare professional myself, I would never interact with patients this way and will not be sending my patients here. We are taught that, as healthcare professionals, patients come in to the facilities on some of the worst days of their lives and these employees showed no understanding of that. The staff could definitely benefit from training in patient interaction and professionalism. Better location clarity and proper follow-up are also needed of course.

Pulled up to the ER, three people assisted me inside with a wheelchair, I had X-rays and found out it was only a very painful sprain, and was on my way home within an hour. An HOUR. Talk about drive through service, it was the best experience I've ever had in a hospital. The staff were LOVELY, very kind, they matched my anxious humor and made me feel safe and comfortable. This experience was the best one I've ever had with any medical professionals. They didn't question my pain or leave me waiting for hours like other emergency rooms I've been to have in the past. They were very sincere and caring and if I ever need anything, I'm going to this hospital.

I had the best, Dr. Coran and his team. I spent 3 days under there care and I can't sat one negative thing about MOSH. The medical floor is separate from the orthopedic floor and not run the same way. All the nurses on the orthopedic floor are great. Also, you get a menu and can order each meal in a two hour gap and they bring it to you. Dr. Coran is a spinal specialist. He has done all three of the areas of my back with the last in January 25, He took it apart and put it back stabilized so I can continue to do normal things and play tennis. She was told that everything looked fine. After time she started to experience pain and went to her doctor. The lump was cancerous and she had a mastectomy. A thermography detects heat. This cancer was encapsulated so it did not give off heat. Be aware that no-one told my friend this nor did they suggest she go to her doctor.

I was not sure if it worked or not so I called the office. They told me the spot was booked but they couldn't see the bane in the slot. I did receive a confirmation email and text for the appointment. I got there about 20 minutes early. Friendly receptionist. Nice waiting area. The temperature was perfect. While I was waiting, another person showed up for the same person and the same appointment time. I have to say, Jen is a complete professional. She took me back to the room and got me started on paperwork. She came back and did the thermography. It goes so quickly. Painless and no smooshing your tatas. No radiation. Specially trained MD or DO reads the results of the scan. You will get your results in 3 to 5 days. She was able to fit the other person in right after me so it all worked out for everyone. First, parking is close and easy. Usually you can stay very close to the door. Second, the facility is small and check-in is fast and friendly and the waiting area is immediately accessible. They have a coffee machine, a table or two and standard chairs and couches for family and patients. There's also a TV and a monitor which tracks patient progress through their procedure for any waiting family or friends not inside with the patient. The interior waiting areas for patients having a procedure are standard hospital bays, with no doors, curtain access, but a recliner chair for companions or family members where they can stay throughout if they prefer. The privacy is perhaps minimal, but the access for the care time is easy and open. Every team member I've encountered here has been great - friendly, comforting, and this is important, they all seem to make a personal connection - even if it's small, that makes you feel seen as an individual. Happily, the surgical teams have also done great work on my visits. I am definitely loyal to this system Great care. Made comfortable,

The Froedtert/Medical College is a massive organization and complex, so this is a very limited review of one area, which is the Center for Advanced Care, and specifically the Ear Nose and Throat Clinic. Been coming here for several years, and have always been impressed with the level of professionalism, and care. Especially the staff that work with Dr. David Poetker. Would recommend them to others that are struggling with ENT issues. Once you are in the proper parking structure, it's a quick ride up to the 5th floor. Get off the elevator and go east. Sometimes, I only need to see Tracy, Dr. Bamrah's assistant, and she is awesome. I have undergone carpal tunnel release surgery, as well as having an overly sensitive nerve tacked in place at my elbow, and I have had torn cartilage removed from my knee. Appointments are fairly easy to get here, with, IMHO, pretty short wait times. I don't think I've ever waited longer than 6 weeks (and that was a one-off) to get in here, versus MONTHS for the dentist or a GP. Surgery is always scheduled very quickly from your appointment, and depending on what you are having done, may be performed here in the clinic downstairs, or a nearby hospital. I've done both. The parking lot is decently sized, or there is street parking. If you're looking for a doctor who will actually listen to you AND help you, this is the place. I know other people who are patients of some of the other doctors, and they like the place as well. This location is just off 27th street on Rawson, but there is another location on the corner of 108th (Mayfair Rd.) and Burleigh, if that works better for you. 29/2024
