Except when I walked in the first thing she said was why didn't I go for blood test? Also had an echo cardiogram, and she was wondering why they did not set a follow up appointment with me to discuss the results. 10 weeks later.....The physician seemed fine. I had seen them previously before they moved into this group and I did like them very much. But this office is under completely different management. I have been a medical office manager, my whole adult life and the lack of communication and the lack of experience of the front desk is noticeable. I have had three maybe four appointments in this location and each time they ask me if I'm new and each time they tell me that my Medicare card is not valid. So while I do like the doctors, I am leaving this practice due to the problems with the front desk. Very disappointed and sad to leave, but the problems seem serious enough for me to find another primary care physician..

This doctor does not make phone calls and does not email. To get blood or test results you have to make an appointment and go through this whole nightmare again. We have had this appointment scheduled for a month. Her insurance hasn't changed. The office has had her insurance information since she made the appointment. They could have called us at any point prior to 9:25am today and we could seek care elsewhere. The front desk staff are completely incompetent and unprofessional. This is a practice that needs to be absorbed by a bigger hospital organization and ensure competent patient care. We wasted our time and my girlfriend now has delay of care in tending to her active medical issues. Completely unacceptable. Do not go here.

TLDR: Dr. Quraishi is a dick, and his assistant is useless…read more I went to this practice after my MRI showed acute stenosis in the lumbar region of my back. I chose the practice b/c my FIL has been seeing Dr. Waqaas A. Quraishi for ESIs for many years. During our first consultation, he spoke only to my husband while ignoring me. During that visit, I told him there was only one pain med I couldn't take because it made me so ill I couldn't eat, and it made me suicidal. After the first injection, I went to my CVS and found that he had prescribed that exact med. I called the office and was told there is no note about it in the file. He changed it to Gabapentin but was doling them out 14 at a time for me to take at bedtime. After the second injection, I called and left messages for Kathleen, his chirpy assistant who said, " Here's my direct line, call me anytime" for three days in a row. Crickets. On the fourth day, I called the receptionist and told her that if it was not taken care of immediately, I would show up in the waiting room and make a scene. Twenty minutes later, I got a call that it was done. When I found a new pain management doctor yesterday, he immediately diagnosed bursitis in my hip and offered to do the procedure then and there. I asked him about refilling my Gabapentin, he said, "Sure. Three times a day, right?" I was stunned that I could take it during the day as needed.

The young lady was very nice as she directed us to the right place. They are still very thorough with the covid check as the check temperature before going inside, give you hand sanitizer when coming in and ask you to use before leaving & of course everyone was wearing a mask. I think it's great and they are keeping a safe environment. My aunt and uncle had nothing but great things to say about their experience with Dr. Felicia Mersky They said she is very polite and soft spoken. They appreciated the patients that she had and strongly recommended her. The facility overall was clean and tidy.

I came to LICHD for a colonoscopy. It is one of the best outpatient experiences I have ever had in…read moremy 69 years. everyone on staff was professional, courteous, kind, compassionate and caring. my procedure was delayed for about 40 minutes but it didn't matter. one of the nurses came by about every 10 minutes to make sure I was okay. Dr. Stein actually came by to apologize for the delay and make sure I was comfortable while waiting. If you have gastrointestinal issues I highly recommend LICHD in Uniondale, NY.
