It's an ongoing quest for us to try new restaurants while out and about with the hope of finding that diamond in the rough that surprises us and has us coming back again and again. This place was not it, so the quest continues. Our first red flag was walking in the door and noticing there was only one person at the bar and the rest of the place was totally empty. Keep in mind it was 1:00pm on a Saturday. The bartender was also the waitress; she was near the door but did not acknowledge us until we called out to her and was told we could sit anywhere we liked. We are not outdoor sitters, but the weather was so lovely that we asked to sit outside. Their outside patio is very nice with fences for privacy from the street. We picked our seat and made our selections as our waitress came out to take our order. We asked for two Cokes and our second red flag popped up; she said their soda machine wasn't working very well so it might taste weird. The hubby ordered a juice and I settled with water. We ordered pretzel bites as an appetizer, the hubby ordered fish and chips and I ordered buffalo chicken sliders. Our order was taken and then the waiting began. With only one other customer in the restaurant we were a little surprised it was taking so long. Finally after 25 minutes, I suggested we move inside because my back was baking from the heat and maybe we were in an "out of sight, out of mind" situation. That was definitely the case because the minute we moved inside our entrees were immediately brought out. We mentioned that we had ordered the appetizer and she couldn't even recall what we ordered (since she also wrote nothing down, which is so irritating) and we told her to forget about it since we had our entrees already. Poor service can be overlooked IF the food is delicious. However, my hubby's fish was way overcooked and tasteless, even after dipping it in mustard. My food was okay, but very dry. The fries were the saving grace; they were actually pretty tasty. At least the total for the bill was cheap since we weren't charged for the appetizer and I ordered water, but we will not be stopping by Keystone Pub ever again. read more

The fries were the skinny soggy ones and the burger had no flavor but you never know until you try it. I think I'll try the sub and a different side next time. The location of the bar is at a great location to get you connected to alot of spots in north Columbus. Like the Mall, the Movie theater etc, So This is great place to extend your date night or get watch the Game if you are in the middle of errands or just finished the movie at the theater. The food is exceptional for what you would normally think at a bar. The wings and the fish are amazing, and they have a great patio, if busy the bar area can have limited spacing, the patio can definably make up for it. I have known the staff here for years, and the bartenders are exceptional. Keelie, Miami, Josh just to name a few are all exceptional people. the staff here know what they are doing and the do it well. One of my favorite things about his place is that They have a solid place to charge you phone, and you don't even have to bring your USB cable. Good place to watch a game. Multiple TV's and a lot of seating. A little too cold for the patio today but it looks like a nice place to be on a sunny, warmer day. Service is good. The draft selection isn't very big but they have all the popular bottled brews/seltzers. Tried the chili and it wasn't the best. Could have been a little warmer (temperature-wise). I prefer Wendy's chili over this. I'll surely be back in the neighborhood to try a few more food items. read more

We did not eat here. We got there at 1050pm. It says they are open til 230am. We all, that is only partially true. The grill closes at 11. The server was polite but let us know that the grill was closing in 10 min and ..... Well, we opted to leave. The ambiance?? RIDICULOUSLY loud music. You might just think this place is closed if there are no cars in the parking lot. There are 2 sets of doors and you can't really tell if anyone is there till the 2nd set of doors, once you walk in it really has a nice pub feel to it. This is my go-to dive bar! It's smaller and has a better community in comparison to the Lewis Center location. Expect classic bar food, avoid this place if you're looking for low-carb! Drinks are great at affordable, bartenders are awesome. St. Patrick's Day at Keystone was amazing, highly recommend. The outdoor patio is a great size and they offer live music weekly. This is also one of the few bars in town that have games to play while you drink (billiard's, skee-ball, and basketball). Once again, do not expect 5 star food here, but come if you want cheap drinks, a good time, and a great community of people! read more

$6 Burger Week, Sept 24-29, 2018 Roasted Red Pepper and Hatch Chili Sliders Three slider burgers with fresh made hatch chili sauce, queso fresco and red peppers served with side of hand cut fries. Lunch time was seat yourself. I don't like hightop tables so we went outside to the patio. Thankfully it wasn't too cold outside. There were only a few other people having lunch. Our waitress was very attentive, kept our drinks filled and made sure we were taken care of. The sliders were ok. I liked the toasted bun and the burgers were juicy, but the toppings were a little strange. The flavors didn't seem to mix well and it tasted rather odd. This could be a great bar if it didn't have such embarrassing food. The service is spectacular, the staff is wonderful, the beer is good, the entertainment (TV, trivia, jukebox) is good, the environment is a pretty nice bar. BUT: I ordered wings and they were hands-down, the worst I've ever had in my life. I can't speak for other food here, but I probably won't return to try. There was a whole insert in their menu with the various sauce flavors! Which all amounts to nothing, because the wings themselves must be the cheapest possible the restaurant could find. They paid to have a special insert for these wings!!!! Advice to the owners: please take everything off the menu that isn't your best foot forward. You don't need to have so many items on the menu. Came for the food and beer. Not many import beers on tap but plenty of domestic. Food was edible. Ordered naked buffalo wings (traditional) and they were over done and poor quality. Husband got buffalo chicken sliders and tots less than appealing from presentation stand point and taste was mediocre. We also ordered chili con queso dip. It's really chili with cheese dip. Eh. The Stone has been me and my bro's place to do weekly lunch at for the past year. I decided to hit them up for some lunch today and a lil March Madness sans my brother. The place was quickly filling up for lunch and I was glad to score a seat at the bar. As usual I was quickly greeted and scored my drink and my Buzztime trivia box and was ready for some good eats. I gave the Nathans Slawdog a try, a big ol' beefy Nathans on a pretzle roll with plenty of tasty coleslaw, a big heaping mound of steak fries and a dill pickle spear. It was so messy but, oh so good and even with the lunchtime/madness crowd I got my order in less than 10 mins, SCORE! With the good weather here early the patio is open now but offically opens this St. Pat's weekend and is a great place to score someting cold to drink before or after a moobie at the Rave. Tried this spot for the first time tonight and had a great time. We actually just stopped in for food and we're not disappointed! I ordered the calzone and it was huge ! Very very good. A pretty average bar to be honest. I'm not sure exactly how I ended up at Keystone Pub in Polaris on a Saturday night, but I did. Nothing in particular stands out about the bar. There's a pool table, so yay for that. There are also plenty of TVs to watch your favorite game on. Average draft beer list. No ciders on tap, but they do have 4-5 different types in bottle/can form. What made the difference that night was the live music. Ignoring the fact that they made lewd finger gestures at the crowd, the 2-man band was decent. They played 90s favorites such as Sublime, Weezer and also performed a series of Usher covers that was particularly entertaining. So maybe if you live in Polaris and are interested in live music, Keystone Pub may be worth checking out. Otherwise, just another bar. read more

We went there last night and sat at the bar. I ordered a shot of tequila and I couldn't believe my eyes there was barely half of a shot so I questioned him he said it's the size of the glass but what he should have said that it was all that was left in the bottle....UNBELIEVABLE. We couldn't get food because there kitchen was too backed up, that I can understand because of being short staff but terrible bartending there is no excuse for that!!! Let's start by stating it was convenient to eat here immediately prior to seeing a movie at Rave. To be clear, this would be a place I went when I was 25 years old, not somewhere I would frequent in my 30s. The music was playing really loud--we thought we were at the club. The server may not have been able to care less about her job. The buffalo chicken salad was fine. My friend got the quesadilla which sounded as thought it was passable. Keystone has always been one of my favorite spots to hang out! My husband and I came here a lot when we first started dating and this was always a go to spot for me and my friends to meet up. My favorite is during the nicer weather - the patio is beautiful and often times they have live music. I also love that they have an inside and outside bar - it can get quite busy in the summer time so this helps speed things up a bit. I've never had bad service and never had a bad meal either! I typically gravitate towards the flatbreads or appetizers and they are always so good. Now that my husband and I are a bit older and expecting our first baby, this spot has become more of a dinner spot than a night out spot for us. That's one thing I love is that it really is only a "bar" at night. Other times of the day it is family friendly! read more

I give this 4 stars only because of the location next to the movie theater. The food is great, good TV set up inside if you want to watch sports, get there early though, limited seating available. Keystone has arguably one of the best patios around. They have a great outdoor bar and frequently live music, plenty of room to hang out and will have the occasional game of cornhole. Inside there is bar seating and high rise tables and a pool table for your enjoyment. As far as the Westerville/Polaris area goes, I'd say this is one of my top places I'd say, check out! Just got back from a visit to keystone. I have been here before for beer- which is decently priced and good variety. Tonight I decided to try keystones food for the first time. I chose the mahi-mahi wrap. I asked the server how it was and she told me "very good." After about half of the wrap my entire body was on fire. I developed a rash on the entire top half of my body. I am not allergic to fish. I found out the fish was bad and I had developed histamine toxicity which develops in rotten mahi-mahi. Needless to say, I will not be eating at keystone again anytime soon. The beer choices are fine but after experiencing this I am not very confident in any cleanliness. read more

Nice little bar in a strip mall behind Polaris. The wait staff has been good the few times I've been there. The hot wings are actually hot. Hot enough to make me sweat a little. Chris Logsdon plays there on Thursday evenings. If you are not familiar with Chris, you should be, he is a Columbus tradition. Acoustic guitar and all the popular songs you love to sing a long with from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. The place gets crowded after work on a Friday. There are a lot of Chase people in the area, so most places are packed after work on a Friday. read more

Keystone is nothing really to write home about. It's a nice place, though. They offer good drinks and a comfortable atmosphere. You can hang out here while waiting for a movie time too as it's located right next to the Rave movie theater. I've been here a few times and done just that. Keystone also supports Ohio State and shows games. The food's pretty good and nice for a snack or a meal. I like the chicken sandwich at Keystone. The bar is also fully-stocked with cold drafts and the bartenders are helpful. It's not too noisy, at least not when I've been there. It could be on game days, though. I've visited Keystone on many occasions since its opening. With a multitude of TVs and reasonable prices, I always found the experience enjoyable. However, until recently, I never tried any food. While I've only sampled a few items, I found each quite good. In fact, we decided Keystone would serve as our test for the UberEATS service. Our food arrived at our door within 30 minutes. Once again, the meal did not disappoint. Likewise, I offer a well-earned shoutout to UberEATS. It's nice to have options other than the typical delivery fare like pizza or sandwiches. read more

We normally have a good experience. Tonight was the exception. Elizabeth was our server and she needs to readjust her focus. It was busy when we first got there. Then everyone left. She then started cleaning tables. We ate our dinner with nothing to drink. She had no concern about us or if we needed anything. The kitchen was also out of bone in wings.
