    Club with fries

This was my first time at DVT and I absolutely loved it. It was such a comfortable, cozy, casual vibe. Their service was excellent and fast and the food was super good! The beer was so cold and refreshing. We had the Irish egg rolls - you have to try them!! I had the club sandwich with fries for my main dish and it was so good and like the perfect club/dictionary definition of it. Will 100% be going back. Love the old Dublin location if it too.

Walked in and was seated quickly. Hostess was nice and gave us our menus. We got waters and Guinness. The Guinness was really good from the tap, smooth, and hit the spot. We ordered the fish and chips, the fish didn't have a lot of fish in it, it was pretty thin and it was mostly the crispy fried part on the outside. Chips, a.k.a. french fries were fine and the bread pudding dessert was not what we were expecting. Our server seemed to want to get us out the door. She kept coming back and to our table to check on us at the end, so we felt like we needed to wrap it up and go. overall it was a pretty three star experience. Service was OK, not great, Food was fine, not great, but Guinness was great!

I grew up in Canton but both of my older siblings went to college in columbus and then relocated here after college graduation. My sister ended up in a Dublin location, and so I feel like I have been eating here- without living in Dublin, for over a decade. Flash forward the spring of 2025, my fiance and I relocate from Houston, TX to Dublin! This place has officially become apart of our rotating date night/ friends and family are visiting/ too lazy to cook spots! The food is incredible no matter what you get, the vibes are pub meets local sports bar. The authentic pub vibe with the local school banners. The staff is always so cute and bubbly and helpful!

This is a very cool joint. The old house exterior (legit) in the old-town throwback neighborhood by the river is great. Then you get inside and you feel like you are in a pub back in Ireland. And the whiskey selection is terrific. Check my photo. I was surprised to be seated immediately at lunch time, but it was a Friday. Our young waiter was very attentive. My salad was very good and my wife enjoyed the shepherd's pie. We were too full to eat dessert, but they had a chocolate cake that uses Guinness, Jameson, and Baileys... and a bread pudding with Irish whiskey caramel sauce.

I came here on Friday for lunch and I was supposed to come back to work, but the ambience was so cozy that I decided to stay and have a couple more beers, and I don't regret it. Since I entered, I felt welcome, I sat at the bar. I ordered my chicken wings, and my salad the server or the bartender in this case was pretty kind and attentive, she always asked me if I needed something else. I've been here before, but just for a quick bite and the food is always good but this was my first time having the wings and I love them. I can come back anytime and have those precious wings and my side salad. I won't come back on a Friday for lunch because it's dangerous. I might fall into temptation and stay there for a couple more beers, but I'm definitely coming back to these comfortable Tavern.

I don't think we have actually eaten here yet, but we definitely plan to. We have come in several times with friends for drinks and the atmosphere is always great. They have lots of drinks to choose from and all of the drinks we have tried have been great.

    Celtic brisket sandwich

Great staff, funny people watching, great food. We've been here a few times but wanted to add a picture for the brisket sandwich--typically brisket lets me down but it was so tender and flavorful here! Also highly recommend the triple brownie--I get it every time

Irish Egg roll, Cob salad, and Pretzel brisket sandwich
    Dawn D.

Food was high quality, ambiance was great. We were able to have conversation without having to talk loud. Pretzel bread, brisket, cheese, and fried onion straw sandwich was superb. I ordered cheddar queso dip with my meal. My husband had the Irish roll and he said, "It was awesome." He also had the cob salad and it was great as well. Service was great. We will be back to this gem.

What a great dinner. Old house has been transformed into a cozy restaurant. In warm weather you can sit outside on the patio and "people watch". We got there, put our names on the wait list and got a beverage. The pours are generous and the beer selection is great. Friendly staff from start to finish. Host, bar staff and waitress all very cordial and helpful. The blackened salmon BLT was good (but messy). The meatloaf was enough for dinner and leftovers. Come on in and relax.

Delicious food. Delicious cocktails. Amazing service. This is definitely in my top 3 restaurants/bars in this area. We ordered Hooley eggs, the buffalo chicken wrap, shepherds pie, and carrot cake and everything was wonderful! We also ordered the chicken fajita sandwich to go for my stepson and he loved it too! My favorite thing was the carrot cake, and I highly recommend the Irish coffee with that. I can't wait to come back, this was such a great experience.

    Fish(cod) sandwich with fries.

Second time we have been to this gem! Seated right away. Staff is attentive and very friendly. Parking is close by. My wife had the eggplant sandwich on a ciabatta roll. I had the fish(cod) sandwich with fries. For the second time I ordered a Guinness and Dark(cherry cordial). One of my favorite beer choices. This place is fantastic!

Quiet man sandwich and buffalo chicken Mac and cheese!

What's the outdoor seating like? I don't want to sit on the sidewalk.

They have a nice patio. It's not huge but you Are not on the sidewalk.

I did get lost in the parking garage and went down to Level 1. FYI: You have to go to Level 5 to exit into the street level. First impressions: It's so clean and has a nice welcoming energy to it. As soon as I walked in, I noticed all the plants: some were hanging and many were near the windows throughout the whole place. They were real and very healthy. Someone who works here must have a green thumb. There were many tables and chairs, a long bar and a separate area for private parties. There is a QR code to order at our table but I ordered from the bar because it was not too busy. My bartender was very friendly. She acknowledged me right away, and came to take my order as soon as she could. I ordered the margarita but all the cocktails looked so good. The decor behind the bar was beautiful! It was a long picture of a runway with a plane taking off. There were also airplane windows that were so cute and went with the whole airport theme. I came up later to order shots for our table. The same bartender once again helped me find the right shot for my friends . I also tried the Kitty Paw hard Steltzer drink. It was refreshing and I loved the hint of Guava. The whole place wasn't too loud. We could carry on our conversations without shouting. They had an etagere near our table full of board and card games. My friends grabbed the Truth or Fear game. We never played it before, It was a fun game to get to know each other. I would definitely come back here again. It was so welcoming and fun.
