The food was fantastic and definitely worth the wait! The pizza was fresh, hot, and delicious. That said, be prepared to be patient. We were quoted a 30-minute wait for our pizza, but it ended up taking closer to 50 minutes. There also isn't a lot of seating, and the restaurant was absolutely packed, which made waiting a little uncomfortable. For us the particular offer was stopping at Prohibition Pizza which specializes in gluten free items. That is for all that are gluten free. Which I am not and we dove into the pizza. Wow, what a gem of a hidden little treasure in the High Springs area. We found this place only by accident as it is not on the main strip in town but on a secondary street. The locals recommended it to us and I lived in the area for most of my life until I turned 21 and did not know there was a entire second street of businesses in this town. I followed my fellow yelpers advice and stopped here on the way out of town. A sweet atmosphere, nice staff and great pizza. I had the personal supreme minus mushrooms and it was awesome . They have 4 different sizes to choose from which is great if you are alone. It was done in a reasonable time and was served hot. They also have a lot of different salads and they come in two different sizes too. Well, I came across this Pizza spot during a internet search. Had never heard of it, so I figured, why not? Took a nice Sunday drive in the afternoon to go out and try it. We were met by friendly staff. You place your order at the counter. could get it either, just sit down at 1 of their tables or they have some outdoor seating, or you can take it to go which while we were there there were numerous people coming to pick up to go orders.So that was a good sign. We got the pretzel for an appetizer, that thing was huge! We got the Margarita Pizza, which also while we were there. Three more people had ordered the same pizza, so it must be one of their more popular pizzas. Now there is no table service, so their only drink option is either bottled sodas or waters with some select bottled beers. Wow!! If you're gluten free you must come here. So of the best gluten free pizza I've ever had. They also may a GF cheese bread as well as GF desserts. I actually thought the GF pizza tasted better than their regular pizza. Had the meat combo. Service was great and talked with the owner a bit after our meal. I have been here twice now but if I lived closer it would be more like fifty times... I love Probibition Pizza. The best gluten-free pizza I've ever had--Prohibition has filled a Satchel's-shaped hole in my Celiac heart. The Bee's Knees pizza is absolutely wonderful, and the cheesy garlic bread and GF key lime pie are fantastic too. Staff is clearly well-versed in what gluten-free means and what allergy precautions are. I have yet to dine in the restaurant but the vibe of the outdoor seating looks like it would be nice, so I am hoping to try that in the future. My family and I are pizza nerds! That being said we were VERY excited to try Prohibition Pizza, as the pizza selection in the area isn't the greatest. For our first foray, we decided on an order of the cheesy garlic bread, one large Goodfella, and one large old world. I'll preface my critiques with this message for Prohibition Pizza: you guys did one heck of a job! I truly feel like you guys are going to do well. Do not take my constructive criticism to heart. The cheesy garlic bread was delicious. Crispy on the edges (they bake it in what looked to be like a Detroit style pan). The cheese was definitely the way to go. If I had to choose one negative it would be that we felt there could have been more garlic. That could be a personal taste thing, we want to be hit in the face with the garlic when we order garlic bread. All in all, 4/5 for the cheesy garlic bread. The Goodfella was undoubtedly the star of the show. The combination of the ingredients really hit different, and the light sweetness of the peas offsets the salty prosciutto. An amazing combination to say the least. My gripe is that there didn't seem to be a lot of vodka sauce on the pie. I don't know if that was intentional, or if the folks at Prohibition were so busy (because they were slammed when we ordered) that they tried to rush it. If you guys read this, MORE VODKA SAUCE! 5/5 The Old World was also a well put together pie. The sauce was so flavorful and not lacking whatsoever. It kind of reminded me of a NY "Grandma" style pie with the plum tomatoes garlic and oregano, but those are traditionally square pies. Overall we'd give this one a 4/5. I hope that this place keeps at it and stays in business. We look forward to eating more pizza from them soon! read more

Overview: 5/5 I am admittedly a New York pizza snob. This place passes the test with 5 stars across the board. Thank Heavens for a new restaurant choice in High Springs!!! Beautiful presentation. My wife had a build your own with pepperoni, mushroom, peppers and onions. It was outstanding. It was crisp on the bottom but light and not too thick. Only thing that would have made this better is a beer from High Springs brewery (which is right next door). This place is working on a liquor license so fingers crossed. They have a unique dessert with a clever name called the "Beeramisu" which is a spin-off on Tiramisu. The owner created the recipe and it was delicious. Service : 5/5 Wonderful!! Kelly the owner brought the food to our table and checked on us a couple of times. I always think it's pretty important afor a new establishment (open about month) that the owners keep tabs on the customers. Well done Kelly.
