The wings are the best in the area. We like them all and the weekend deals are fantastic!

The service is fast and friendly! The pizza is really good! We live 30 minutes away, and pass two other pizza places.

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. You can tell the kitchen puts a lot of care into every dish. The inside (and outside) of the café is so cute and well-done -- bright, welcoming, and full of charm. We sat at the back table by the glass wall and loved the view. BUT... the service was a letdown. It's a seat-yourself place, which is fine, but we only saw our waitress three times: 1 When she brought our drinks 2 When she took our order 3 When she delivered our food That was it. No refills, no check, no follow-up -- while other tables (mostly locals) were getting consistent attention. We watched others getting drink refills, to-go boxes, and their checks brought to them... while we sat waiting and eventually had to go find someone ourselves. It definitely gave off a "locals only" vibe, and sadly, we felt overlooked. It was especially disappointing because we really wanted to love this place -- and we almost did. The food is , the atmosphere is beautiful, but the service just didn't match the quality of everything else. Would I recommend it? Yes -- for the food. Just be prepared that if you're not a regular, the experience might feel a bit cold. Hopefully, they work on that, because the place has serious potential!

Everything here was cooked perfectly and tasted simply delicious. Prices are reasonable too! Add great service and you have an Instant classic!! The ham and sourdough toast are just plain YUMMY!! I only wish they had a nondairy cream option like oat milk for those of us who are sensitive to dairy.

Apps came out quickly and hot. The fried squash was cornmeal coated and lightly fried. Tasted very fresh and not over cooked at all. The grouper bites were amazing. Fried nuggets of grouper with a citrus slaw on top. Slaw did not overpower the fish and it was cooked to perfection. The bread was not bad but unremarkable compared to the apps. The main courses. Ribeye with baked potato, roasted cauliflower with a Parmesan cream along with fish and chips, subbed the fries for sweet potato puffs. Steak was tender and perfectly grilled. Cauliflower was piping hot, creamy and not overcooked. The fish was very good and plentiful. Lightly crusted and the sweet potato puffs were very light and flavorful. Couldn't eat it all. Got a desert to go, key lime Carlotta very tasty as well, light and not overly sweet. Great way to finish off the meal. Will be back.

So, they sort of have an eclectic "chef's menu", if you will, mixed with sushi and Asian bowls, a few Cajun offerings, expense account steakhouse steaks, and even a Mexican restaurant out back, Ella Cocina; all promising an elevated, higher experience by the look and feel of things. We really enjoyed the food. Sushi was very good. French dip with roasted parmesan cauliflower was very good. Same for the flounder fish and shrimp, somebody here can cook. Spoonful of slaw was delicious. So, no drafts (bottles only) and something or other about a machine mixes up their libations for them, so they couldn't make a Bloody Mary on the fly because it wasn't programmed into their menu. Whatever the case, we really enjoyed the food and ambiance.

I've always kinda liked Bett's Big T but also used to have reservations about it. Back circa 2015,…read moreit was pretty run down, looked pretty grim honestly. I guess it began as a truck stop decades ago and then became solely a restaurant. Anyways, they have had a cosmetic refresh, painting the building, adding cute signage including some features explaining Bett's long history, and just made the dining rooms a down-home but clean and inviting place now. This goes a long way: I am all for hole-in-the-wall restaurants but you don't want a place to look dirty, either. Bett's no longer does. It looks comfortable and plain-spoken, honest, and home town now. The food has always been good. You get a menu dinner or daily special--things like chicken fried steak or liver and onions or fried mullet--and a choice of three sides. The sides range from mac-n-cheese and collards to normally a couple homemade desserts: the peach cobbler and strawberry cake both are not to be missed. Portions are generous. Their Friday and Saturday all-you-can-eat seafood dinner is also a real deal and good food. Red velvet cake, caramel cake, and lemon cake are hits too but less frequent in their menu appearances. Ford hook limas sometimes show up too, slowly cooked with bacon or ham and are awesome. The painting and general interior and exterior refresh really went a long ways with me to have greater confidence in Bett's. It's now easily a place I rank with some of the region's best country/Southern cooking restaurants.
