The work was completed quickly, they were easy to get a hold of, and the quality of their work was excellent. They were also very accommodating whenever we requested adjustments or fixes, they were willing and responsive without hesitation. We are capable for most projects ourselves, but this time we brought in J's Vision Construction to replace the large slider door you find in many of the "Greek Track" homes. Dorel, the contractor, was professional, communicative, and always on time. He really listened to what we wanted and made sure it came to life. We always felt comfortable having them in our home, which was especially important to me since I was pregnant at the time. I actually went into labor while they were working, and even then, everything was handled smoothly and respectfully. They were fair, reliable, and truly easy to work with. I would absolutely recommend IND Construction to anyone looking for quality work and a trustworthy team.

One of the reasons we went with IND was that Dorel prepared a written proposal before we signed the contract, so we had a better idea of what was going to happen. None of the other contractors we talked to did that. We have a couple of other projects that we have in mind for the future, and we will be happy to use IND again.

It did not take long for the HOA to make it clear that we had a problem. After a few letters from the HOA delineating the parking rules for both the driveway and the street we searched for a contractor who could remodel the garage to accommodate our 24-foot Sprinter Van. After researching a few companies in the area, we decided on Atlas Builders and Development, Inc. and we were happy to sign a contract with Jacob Lankri, the owner. The first step was to decide on the basic design package. Once that was settled, we submitted the engineered plans to our HOA. After many months of wrangling with the HOA, Gilah Lankri, the project engineer, was able to produce engineered drawings that met the HOA's aesthetics and expectations. Jacob and Gilah submitted the plans to the city of Oxnard. Unfortunately, it took the city of Oxnard a frustrating 10 months to review and approve the plans. All the while, Atlas Builders and Development, Inc. stayed with us determined to get approval. Once we got approval to begin construction in December 2024, the demolition of the old garage was accomplished quite quickly. Even though we hit a snag regarding the Southern California Gas Company line, we eventually got approval to relocate and replace the line which delayed the project 5 weeks. Finally in March 2025 construction of the new Garage began in earnest. Jacob's team, led by an amazing foreman, Edgar, constructed a new elevated ceiling in the garage with new rafters and support beams as well as new tiled roof. The inside of the garage was completely refinished with drywall, texturing and fresh paint. New and improved lighting was installed in the garage along with assorted electrical outlets. The finishing touches included a new door to the backyard, matching the epoxy surfacing on the garage floor and patching preexisting holes in the walls. Outside, new stucco and siding had to be applied as well as painted. The disconnected solar panels and rain gutters were expertly reinstalled. In addition, an area of the driveway had to have pavers reinstalled looking better than before. I addition to the garage remodel project, Atlas Builders and Development, Inc. procured and installed a new sliding glass door complete with a doggy door for access to the back patio. They also removed a set of windows in the dining room and then procured and installed a beautiful set of French doors. Finally, Atlas Builders and Development, Inc. removed an old single front door and expertly installed a beautiful mahogany double front door. All the finishing details were expertly accomplished.

I had an issue with my old stucco walls, and Jacob from Atlas came out to take a look. Eloy is funny and extremely easy to communicate with. New Burbank zoning rules meant we needed to relocate our pool equipment and the space limitations of our yard did not leave us many appealing options - until Eloy came up with the idea of hiding the equipment behind a waterfall! Our favorite thing about Eloy was how flexible he was to late changes. Other contractors we've worked with always make changes during production feel like a hassle (to them), or use it as an excuse to charge more money -- Eloy almost made it seem fun; "Great idea" he'd say. So we weren't left with that "Oh, I wish we'd thought to add ____" feeling. On top of all that, his crew is very fast. I've also noticed most contractors wait to see if YOU will point out a problem with their work, but Eloy really cared about how things looked himself. We felt like HE wanted it to all look great too.

We've interviewed a few home builders, checked out their work and reputation, and eventually decided to go with Gil, Oren, and the whole team of Go Home Builders. Working with the insurance was a pain, luckily Gil had experience working with Allstate insurance before, and he helped us a lot getting the money we needed to rebuild our home. The planning process took a bit longer than what we initially planned for. The county of LA took their sweet time approving our plans. Fortunately, after 2 sets of revisions we were fully approved. The construction wasn't bad at all, they had plenty of guys working on our home at the same time. The only time there was no work, was on inspection days. The finishes was one thing that was extremely important for us. My wife and I are detail oriented and wanted to make sure we're choosing the right company to do the finish work correctly. All I can say is that they exceeded my expectations. Overall the beginning of the process was extremely emotional challenging, but the whole team of Go Home Builders made us feel like we're not alone. My wife and I are very grateful for them. I'd highly recommend.

I had a rough vision in mind for fitting a lot into a relatively small space, but wanted to see the options rendered so I could better make the big layout and design decisions. Alexis was very patient and super helpful in mocking up each iteration until we locked in the final design. Once it was time to actually break ground, Gil, Oren, Uriel, and the rest of the team were really responsive and always available by text. Unlike previous contractors we've worked with, they usually gave us an idea of what was happening the next day/week and who to expect onsite. The first ~70% of the project went really smoothly and far exceeded my expectations. Demo, framing, rough plumbing, and electrical all largely went without a hitch. We ran into some problems towards the end around communication, timeline, and subcontractor oversight -- which led to more delays when someone punctured our new in-wall toilet tank and flooded both the bathroom and bedroom. We know every construction job runs into challenges so we weren't bent out of shape by it, and we did appreciate that GHB took full responsibility for fixing the issues. By and large we were really impressed by most of their subcontractors, especially the very professional and considerate plumbing, electrical, and tiling teams! After living with our new bathroom for a while now, we can definitely say it was worth the wait, and such a huge improvement over our previous dysfunctional layout. Thanks to GHB for their great service, amazing attitude, attention to detail, and for bringing the bright, colorful bathroom of my dreams to life!

The house had a very closed-off layout, and our goal was to open it up, improve the flow, and make it feel more connected and functional for everyday living. We met with a number of contractors before moving forward, but Neev and Mai stood out immediately. They brought a level of thoughtfulness, care, and attention to detail that we didn't see elsewhere. More importantly, they really listened. It never felt like we were being pushed into a one-size-fits-all solution. They took the time to understand what mattered to us and approached the project with a clear sense of intention. Throughout the process, communication was consistent and transparent, and we always felt like we were in good hands. They also handled important upgrades behind the scenes that gave us real peace of mind, not just the visual improvements. You can tell they care about doing things the right way. Of course, like any remodel, there were moments where unexpected things came up. What really set them apart was how they handled those situations. They were calm, responsive, and solution-oriented. That level of professionalism made a big difference for us. We're honestly thrilled with how everything turned out. The house feels completely transformed.
