I was also offered a tint to help make them look more even. Unfortunately, the tint didn't help and actually made the difference more noticeable because there was dark tint left on the skin underneath one brow, making it look even higher. I also felt like the tint didn't really change anything, so it felt like money wasted. I brought my daughter for her first brow shaping because she has very thick, long brows and only wanted them cleaned up and shaped. Unfortunately, hers were also left uneven -- one was thick and rounded while the other had a more pointed arch. She was disappointed as well. I will say the lady was very sweet, welcoming, and kind, and the place was extremely busy with lots of customers coming in and out. I have nothing negative to say about her customer service. Based on my experience, I would recommend this place more for cleaning up and maintaining an eyebrow shape you already like, rather than creating a new shape, evening out uneven brows, or doing a first-time brow transformation. For those services, I would personally look for someone who specializes more specifically in brow shaping.

My new go-to lash girl Janice is the best! Very attentive and sweet. She has very steady hands and will answer all your questions. I did a full set before and bc I have less lashes we were finished in about an hour. The results were amazing! I have smaller eyes so she suggested for a more natural length first and slowly build the length to my liking afterwards. So far, it's been 3 weeks and the lashes are still amazing! I went for the medium length and it gave me a cute wispy look. I love the mascara look but hate the mess it leaves when it's time to take it off. The length I have now is perfect and even longer than when I wear mascara. She also taught me how to take care of my lashes from home and saidtoto use a spooly to brush up the lashes whenever it clutters because of the way I sleep. I can't wait to get another fill with her next time! Update: After 2 years, Janice is still my one and onlfavorite lash tech! Highly recommend her. I have worn eyelash extensions continuously for years. I was able to find a great lash artist in Oakland upon moving back from LA. My lovely lash artist, JANICE, does an amazing job every time! She is my go-to! She listens to your requests and remembers them for future reference. Janice is a seasoned lash artist and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Her technique is incredible, so much so, that your lash extensions stays on longer than anticipated! I've had my lashes done in lots of big cities (Atlanta, Boston, LA) as I have travelled a lot & lived in many places for work over the years, and Janice at Project Glow is hands down my favorite artist I've ever been to. Her hybrid and volume work on my lashes have been incredible and last longer than anywhere else I've been. She's always so good about fitting me in to her busy schedule. I have been going to her for eyelash extensions and eyebrow waxing since January 2021. I love her work and her space. The place is located residentially and parking is easy to find up front. I have been wearing a mask and am fully vaccinated. I make sure to take my shoes off, wash my hands and make sure I arrive with a clean no make-up face. I always get compliments on my lashes even on the street from strangers since I hardly wear make-up these days. They help me feel put together during my work from home zoom calls with my camera on. It looks like I put enough effort to look groomed and professional. When going out, I don't even need to spend an extra 10 minutes doing my eye makeup especially being able to skip eyeliner, mascara, false lashes and glue -- it saves me time everyday. My lashes' retention looks natural and full even after a couple of weeks. I do try to go to her between 2 and 2.5 weeks because my lashes grow fast. Jessica's prices are very competitive and completely fair especially in the Bay Area. My most recent fill after 4 weeks of being out of town was $165 because I requested a curlier and longer lash. My other fills were $95 for wispy volume and were paid via Apple Pay as Jessica prefers that payment method over Venmo. Note that she is a small business owner so give her ample time if you need to reschedule or cancel. I needed to cancel last minute since I lost my wallet and the cancellation fee was the service amount I would have paid which is completely valid since that was part of the signed agreement. I found her on Yelp and hope that people find her more so that she can make this her full time gig since she's working a corporate job too. I never feel rushed and she makes sure there is plenty of time between her clients. She is so sweet, so therapeutic and gentle. She always plays gentle music and I fall asleep every time. She is super humble and fun to talk to but I eventually fall asleep because I'm so relaxed. She's never pinched my eye and I hardly feel the tape she uses as it doesn't pull or tug on my skin. She is the BEST!!! She does give you a new lash comb and snacks or beverages after your appointment. She really does go above and beyond to make her clients happy. My lashes always looked amazing -- natural, full, and exactly how I wanted them every single time. She pays so much attention to detail and really cares about her clients and her work. Over the years, she became someone I genuinely looked forward to seeing, not just for beautiful lashes but also for her warm personality and positive energy. I highly, highly recommend her!!!

Each lash looks like it was individually and expertly lifted with perfect spacing and curl. Like...what...I did not know my lashes could look so beautiful! I did end up taking her advice, and I am super glad that I did. The key for me was to be patient and trust the process. She instantly made me feel like I was in good hands, guiding me through what the process would entail and how we could best reach my brow goals. She marked up her game plan and had me weigh in so we had shared expectations. I couldn't be more pumped with how they turned out! She's a magician y'all--they are balanced, fluffy, and best of all, ready to go without any makeup. I had them done in 2020 and they have held up beautifully.
