Rene did my first wax (arms + bikini) and was so masterful in terms of efficiency, technique (nearly pain free!), and bedside manner. The pricing is more than fair, and I had no hesitation in signing up for a package. Parking is abundantly easy, and Radiant couldn't have been nicer when I had a complete brain fart and forgot my second appointment (on a Friday before a long weekend, no less!) and refused to charge me a missed appointment fee even when I told them I would totally understand if they did. It was my first time visiting this place, and I had a great experience with Mikaia for my Brazilian. She's incredibly friendly and attentive. I really appreciated how she regularly checked in with me to make sure the wax temperature was comfortable. She's also a fun person to chat with, which made the time fly by. I used to go to European Wax, but the atmosphere there always felt too clinical and rushed. In comparison, the vibe here is much more welcoming and friendly. I was especially impressed by Mikaia's attention to detail when she asked if she could pluck a few small hairs that couldn't be waxed, which is something I've never experienced at European Wax. Friendly staff and awesome way to get your waxing done to fix around your busy schedule. There are a lot of good staff here but in the past I've encountered some not so great ones that I learned to not book with again. I think they're no longer with the company so it's nice to see this spot keeping only the good staff around. In the past I also encountered late start (some past 10 minute wait) quite often which can get frustrating, so I learn to book in the mornings to be one of the first ones they see. I wish they would provide some discount for late start past 10 min especially since customers get penalized for being too late. They staff take their time and make sure that your wax experience goes well and it results in something that you like. I appreciate the friendliness and patience. Overall a great spot to get waxing done. I usually get their wax series which provides a nice discount versus buying it individually each time. Plenty of parking and located in the Target plaza in Alameda, super close to the tunnel that connects to Oakland. I drive from Hayward to get my service done here. read more

From the moment I arrived her demeanor was rude and dismissive turning what should have been a simple appointment into an uncomfortable experience. I saw Teia for upper and lower body waxing that included three separate line items on the Radiant Waxing menu. Teia was very skilled. There was very little pain with her service. She checked in on my comfort level often and offered advice for the care and maintenance of each area she waxed. Her sage advice included recommended products and care routines. She has a professional presence that put me at ease and made me think, "Relax, she's a veteran at this." The facility was very clean and the waxing room was spacious and comfortable.
