Attended the course week of Aug 11 2025 taught by instructor Michael Einstein. while the information that you have to go through can be quite dry, Mr Einstein was able to keep my attention, made the class as engaging and entertaining as it could be. He used real world examples from his experience, which was very helpful to understand some of the concepts. I just completed the PMP boot camp in Windsor Locks CT with instructor Allen Young. The extensive amount of content was brought to life through our instructors personal experiences throughout his impressive career which he so willingly shared. This teaching style really aided me in understanding many of these concepts tested in the real world and not just listed on the written page. Used PMA as a primary resource for a 4-day PMI exam prep bootcamp. I chose PMA from excellent reviews and local availability. Allen Y, the instructor, was excellent. He managed to cover a huge amount of information in the first 3 days (4th day was mock exam and discussion). He was pragmatic and realistic about what we should and should not expect to get from the class up-front. I feel like the PMA program, and Allen's teaching style prepared me for the exam. In addition to the in-class lecture, there are multiple online resources you gain access to following the course including a 30-day study plan, practice questions and flashcards. I leveraged these resources as well as re-read the PMBOK and passed my exam on the first attempt within three months of the course. read more

I took the PMP/CAPM Prep Class in October 2019, in Hartford CT with Instructor Mr. Allen Young. At the time I took the course I was planning on taking my CAPM certification, but Allen's instruction gave me the confidence to apply for the PMP. Allen maintained a great level of energy through the entire course, from 8:00 a.m. when we started to 6:00 p.m. at the end of the class. He helped me to apply the concepts we were learning about in the course to real-life applications; such as renovating a basement. Allen is very knowledgeable and professional and I would recommend the PMA prep course to anyone interested in taking the CAPM or PMP exam. By the way- I passed my exam! In hindsight I'm glad that happened so I ended up using Project Management Academy. Ben R., the instructor, was excellent. He was extremely punctual, and managed to cover a huge amount of information in the first 3 days (4th day was mock exam and discussion). While running the course, he still kept things flexible for those who needed breaks and to handle work-related communications. He was also extremely pragmatic and realistic about what we should and should not expect to get from the class up-front. I feel like the PMA program, and Ben's teaching style really prepared me for the exam by showing what areas of study I did and didn't need to focus my energy on. It made things more efficient and it really helped to have a tailored study plan given by the instructor at the end with some one-on-one time. He is a talented instructor who goes the extra mile to make sure students understand the material. I attended the 4 day PMP boot camp course at the Hyatt Regency Boston June 17-20 2019. It was a lot of information in 4 days to absorb yet the instructor Joe Snyder did a wonderful job of presenting it to us logically using real life examples. I tried twice to study on my own and failed the test. I now have a greater understanding of the information and many helpful test taking techniques to pass. This class was well worth the money in which I paid for myself. I know it will be dependent upon the instructor you receive, Joe was the best! Highly recommend it now even though I was skeptical before taking it. read more

It's not easy to take the PMBOK and present in a manner that keeps readers engaged, but Scott did an excellent job at doing just that. He kept the sessions focused when needed, and lightened it up right when it needed to be.
