I stayed for the facials - Molly is the absolute best and clearly knows what she's doing. The sessions are relaxing and I walk away with smooth and fresh skin every time. She doesn't take a one size fits all approach to your skin and assesses what you need individually. I've done laser hair removal and am going through Morpheus8 now. In my opinion Prolase Medispa has the latest technology with well trained estheticians. The laser hair removal did not hurt at all, definitly a huge upgrade from other lasers I've experienced in the past. The Morpheus8 does hurt even with the numbing cream but that was the expection I was given prior to the treatment. They also have a beautiful and clean office with a friendly staff. read more

Review for Botox technician (she only does injections; not for laser). We wasted Sunday morning without getting services (1) Not on schedule (2) unprofessional Soviet customer service demeanor " " (3) unable to provide service in terms agreed upon prior to the appointment 1. Our appointment was at 11:15. We specifically waited for extra time to be able to come together and it was very clear that we were from the same household. We were forced to sit in the car for 20 minutes because the technician was running behind schedule. 2. The office manager shared that the reason why our appointment was delayed was because the previous client was scared of the needle, violating medical confidentiality and also making us feel very uncomfortable 3. The technician was very rude from the very first greeting, calling us "girls" and bossing us around without a proper greeting or and you apologies for keeping us waiting. She demanded for one of us to "let's go let's go let's go" and the other one stay in the wait room. I told her that appointment was specifically made with that particular accommodation in mind that we would both be in the room. It was discussed and agreed upon. (Btw, as soon as we left the office we made an appointment with Dr Leila Kump for the same price without any packages, and she had no issues with us being together in the same room) In summary, although this technician might have ample medical experience which we would not be able to experience, her bedside manners are from Soviet culture. Prolase Medispa is wonderful for injectables! I've been going for a year now and I am extremely happy with the scheduling, staff, pricing, and the results. I have only had Botox with Olga and she explains everything extremely well, is very professional, communicates clearly, and is very conscious about pain (even checks in on you to make sure you're okay). I originally only tried Botox in my forehead and frown line, but just recently decided to try the "lip flip" and I am so glad I did! It's nice to have my upper lip appear fuller while smiling without making the rest of my lips larger. Olga let me know the percentages for who likes and dislikes the lip flip, how my upper lip will feel after, healing, etc. I am extremely happy I tried Prolase Medispa and will continue going. read more

received my 2nd Face Lift treatment with Morpheus 8. Kira and team are awesome. My first Morpheus 8 appt didn't go so well. I was a little traumatized to say the least...lol but Kira did her best to try to make me comfortable and I really appreciated that. But my 2nd treatment today, Kira did something she didn't do before that she had learned from going to a Morpheus 8 conference a month ago. Let me tell you, just the simple addition of covering my face with a plastic mask to help absorb the numbing cream faster and deeper, went a long way. I definitely didn't feel the numbing cream working the first time. A total 180..it worked like a charm. I barely felt anything. It was such a life changing event..lol. I will not be coming back! Location: Not impressed. The center itself is in an old office building that smells of mildew and the spa itself has extremely dated aesthetics. Treatment: Anna had a cold demeanor and overall rushed through the intake process as well as the treatment itself. The laser is pretty painless with a cooling burst of air with each shot. I have had over 10 laser hair removal treatments in my lifetime and have never been through a more rushed process. The treatment itself was not thorough and when I questioned Anna she was very curt. I went there in hopes to use the Groupon of 6 treatments to a large area (Brazilian). However at the completion of the treatment I decided just to pay for this single visit and bid this place adieu. I will say that the center followed great COVID protocols such as washing your hands immediately when you enter, temperature checks and making you wait in your vehicle on arrival. read more

I love that you can tip with Venmo and I had zero wait! I cannot wait to return! This is my new spot and I love her! The laser isn't bad at all with the cool air this was my third time and so far good results! My only concerns / advice would be that the location itself seems inaccessible to anyone with a physical disability as you have to walk up a couple flights of stairs after getting off the elevator and the front desk staff were not wearing masks despite signs all over the building saying you must wear a mask. *Bahareh herself was wearing a mask and had clean paper on the chair and the room looked immaculate. I was just surprised to see the front desk maskless given the requirements of everyone else- so if you have a compromised immune system I'd suggest a N95 or KN95 mask to protect yourself. read more

The technicians have been very friendly, professional, and provide the best care to make sure you're seeing results. I originally came based on a recommendation from a friend and a great first-time offer, but I've continued to purchase additional packages. Scheduling has been fairly easy as they are open after working hours on week days and on the weekend. For those of you with cars, they have a parking lot that always has spots open when I've been. I got a Groupon for a 6 session laser hair removal package. Their hours are really convenient, considering they're also open on weekends and as late as 7pm. Their appointments usually book up quickly so make sure if you need to cancel or reschedule, that you try to do it well in advance. Every time that I've gone, I've always been the only client in the office. I'm not sure how their appointment blocks work but I guess it's enough time so that there's no overlaps. The technicians are professional and get it done quickly. There was one technician I had that was less than friendly since I felt rushed with her - but everyone else was fine. I did feel like they pressure you to continue buying more sessions once you near the end but otherwise they did a good job with my treatments. read more

I originally found Prolase through Groupon & thankfully was never treated any different than the average client. :) I just finished my 6th session on my lower legs. I'd say I had about 60% hair loss! Keep in mind results vary from person to person..I will say for as hairy as I am 60% hair loss is pretty good for only 6 sessions. If you are a black woman on any spectrum of the Fitzpatrick scale, I highly recommend Prolase for laser hair removal.  I researched a few places and then was decided to buy Groupon for 6 sessions for Brazilian.  I go to the Old Dominion and see Anna.  She  is well versed in the YaG laser (the gold standard for brown skin).  As of this writing I've had 4 sessions and my hair is 90% gone.  This isn't permanent so I will be back a couple times a year for maintenance, but it beats shaving and having those pesky razor bumps!   I'm very pleased with the service, their appointment availability and cleanliness of the facility.  There is also parking available behind the building. read more

Bought a groupon for a large area laser hair removal after a friend recommended the place. The office is super small and they only take one client at a time for laser but you're in and out really fast. I'm usually not there for more than 15 mins, to get the treatment done & book my next appointment. It's definitely not very painful unless you have a low pain tolerance and it's over fast enough it doesn't bother me. I've seen results even after one treatment (although I am relatively pale with super dark hair). It's definitely worth it! read more

I originally came here to get my eyebrows touched up by Yuulia, I have posted about her before, she is amazing. When I inquired about laser, Anna was able to give me a patch test after my eyebrow appointment. Since the patch test was painless I pulled the trigger and started my underarm treatments. There was a cool breeze sensation with the laser and no discoloration after. Their machines are state of the art and everything is very clean. All the staff I have met there has always been accommodating if I have had to change around appointment times, too. It's been ~2months since I finished my 6th session -- on my last visit they recommended I have one more follow-up visit in a couple of months, which I think I may need. Anna and the staff are friendly, but are sales-y to the extent of letting you know about promotions and asking if you're interested in their other services. Bedside manner is quick and to the point. My one gripe is that sometimes they'll call you to see if you'd be willing to move your appointment up earlier by 15-30minutes when your appointment is after 6PM; but they're extremely understanding if you're running late. The atmosphere itself isn't swanky -- calming waiting area (although no reception desk so sometimes you'll just sit there waiting a while). The laser removal room in the far back is equipped with the basics, and the bathroom is small (the building itself is a bit old). Overall, worth the groupon -- a no-frills spot. read more

At the door, Anna took my temperature with a touchless thermometer. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands. Anna was nice and friendly. While I was there, there were no other customers.
