The company is simply cheating. I called the company when I needed a tree cut after an ice storm…read morethis year. They agree to help. However, they never showed up. A week later, one person called (probably his name is Steve, but I might be mistaken) asking where I still needed help. I said no. The people who cut the tree were supposed to remove the cut branches. I was surprised when I received a phone call from the company a month ago asking me to pay for the services. I never saw anybody from the company. I do not know who removed the branches, the city, the people who cut the tree, or the company. I specifically said that I do not require their services. Yet, I finally received an invoice for $321.00. I have nothing good to say about Lexington Tree Service except they are fraudulent liars. In the process, they cut some electrical wires for accent lighting under the tree (unbeknownst to us) and "repaired it". When we noticed all of the lights were not functioning, we called Red Oak (an AWESOME company who installed all of our exterior lights) and they repaired the cut wires that Glynn Young had created. I forwarded their very modest bill to Glynn Young who basically ignored it and when I called them today, informed me that they refused to pay because "it was in our contract that they aren't responsible". DO NOT USE THIS LANDSCAPING COMPANY! They don't take responsibility for things that happen that are their fault, even for good previous customers who have spent a lot of money with them! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

I have dealt with this company twice. Once for a delivery of firewood and then to get a quote for…read moretree removal. My firewood was delivered and the person delivering it said that he was "short" and would be back to fulfill the delivery. I waited a week and didn't hear from them so I called their office. I said "I was told that I would receive the rest of my firewood... " I got a nasty call from the owner "Kevin" he was mad and basically told me off... I was pretty surprised and told him I would not be call them again. A few days later Kevin called as said "...he'd thought about it" and would deliver the rest of my firewood. .. next I'd forgotten about the firewood situation and asked for a quote to remove a fallen tree in my yard. Kevin office sent me quote to remove the portion of the tree that had fallen in my property (the tree was a neighbors' tree). I asked Kevin if the tree portion that had fallen on my roof could be cut and moved to the neighbors side.. could I get a new quote? Again, he let me have it!!! (just like to firewood situation) Kevin responded that he didn't need to be "nickeled and dimed" and I could forget using his services. Again, it took me by surprise with his response that could/should have been a professional (none emotional "yes or no" to my question) So a warning to anyone dealing with Arlington Tree Service and "Kevin" that he is ready to tell you off and add with a disquieting "have a blessed day" if he doesn't like it/you. So the moral to the story is to avoid at all cost calling this service or get ready to be told off by Kevin!
