A week later, one person called (probably his name is Steve, but I might be mistaken) asking where I still needed help. I said no. The people who cut the tree were supposed to remove the cut branches. I was surprised when I received a phone call from the company a month ago asking me to pay for the services. I never saw anybody from the company. I do not know who removed the branches, the city, the people who cut the tree, or the company. I specifically said that I do not require their services. Yet, I finally received an invoice for $321.00. I have nothing good to say about Lexington Tree Service except they are fraudulent liars. I will pay the bill but advise everybody to avoid the company.

I forwarded their very modest bill to Glynn Young who basically ignored it and when I called them today, informed me that they refused to pay because "it was in our contract that they aren't responsible". DO NOT USE THIS LANDSCAPING COMPANY! They don't take responsibility for things that happen that are their fault, even for good previous customers who have spent a lot of money with them! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Kevin office sent me quote to remove the portion of the tree that had fallen in my property (the tree was a neighbors' tree). I asked Kevin if the tree portion that had fallen on my roof could be cut and moved to the neighbors side.. could I get a new quote? Again, he let me have it!!! (just like to firewood situation) Kevin responded that he didn't need to be "nickeled and dimed" and I could forget using his services. Again, it took me by surprise with his response that could/should have been a professional (none emotional "yes or no" to my question) So a warning to anyone dealing with Arlington Tree Service and "Kevin" that he is ready to tell you off and add with a disquieting "have a blessed day" if he doesn't like it/you. From the beginning, they were communicative and thoughtful in their planning. Robert walked through the approach with me ahead of time and clearly understood the importance of protecting the surrounding property. Plus, he showed extensive knowledge and offered helpful insights. One thing I've come to really appreciate is when people plan timing with you on projects. We set the target date for the job and only had a caveat for potential adverse weather (late February). They confirmed the day and time and touched base the day before to make sure we were good for timing. Then they arrived at the time they set. I have found this to be one of the most rare qualities and it is invaluable. The execution itself was exceptional. Robert and Jason brought the tree down so elegantly, had I not been aware of the work, I might not have realized it was happening. It was an impressive display of control and experience, especially given the size of the tree. They were also very mindful of the property. They came fully prepared to prevent equipment from marking up the lawn, and the cleanup was beyond thorough. We learned what was healthy, what wasn't, and options for correction. We had two cleaned up with some awkward branches removed, and one entirely cut down. Because we have a fireplace we wanted to keep most of the large segments. They were accommodating, and stacked nicely-sized pieces in a pre-selected spot. They cleaned up after the work more than we expected, too. They even took debris from other trees I had trimmed myself. Nice people with positive attitudes are so great!
