Obsessed with coffee, for one week, my friend and I visited two to three coffee shops while visiting Copenhagen. Prolog Coffee Bar was one of the best. Here's why: 1) Coffee: It's quality coffee and the baristas are experts. They take their time in creating your coffee to ensure quality. They also sell their beans, a must-buy for any coffee lover. My latte was perfect! 2) Space: It's small and simple. There are a few tables outside along the sidewalk and a few tables in the back. The design is blue and white and simple. It works. 3) Location: It's in the meatpacking district near many top restaurants and shops. They also have free wifi.

Excellent cappuccino and lattes here! Not much else to say, try them out! The only thing that was confusing for me as an out of country visitor was that there was no sugar out. Do they ask for sugar inside when they order? Or are the Danish people not fond of putting sugar in their coffee? This is one if the great things about traveling is that you are suddenly this bumbling oaf that doesn't know anything haha. I asked for sugar after and they brought a small bowl of sugar but it was small and didn't look like a normal thing they brought out so I'm still at a loss haha. In any case, go here it's great!!!

Let's talk about a hipster coffee shop... It is no surprise you would find something very unique hidden in the Meatpacking District of Copenhagen. This coffee shop opened recently and it's already a big hit. Probably because you can now grill your own marshmallow, and yes we are not joking. Place is adorable and so is the staff. Everyone spoke English and received us very warmly. I had a cappuccino that was very tasty and had the right amount of milk. They also have a few magazines and other articles for sale. I would love to come back for other cup of coffee here.

Donuts are from bronuts - the coffee here was 8/10 the asthetic and service was 11/10.

Loved it here. My friend and I stumbled across this place and found it so cute. The pour over coffee was 7/10. Cappuccino was a 6/10. Service and asthetic 11/10. There is minimal seating, it's a cozy cute vibe. Would go there again for the ambiance and pour over!

Great little coffee spot. Food options are limited to just a couple pastries, but the cinnamon buns are tasty. Seating is mostly outdoors. They accept cards for payment.

Really really good coffee in the hip Meatpacking district of Copenhagen. The coffee is excellent quality and the staff is very knowledgable about all of the varieties they offer. If you're hungry I recommend eating at a restaurant in the meatpacking district then heading over to Prolog for coffee. Seating inside is limited inside but it's nice to get coffee to-go and walk around the area.

Fantastic little espresso/coffee bar. Great service and exceptional coffee craft. The pastries are top notch and the small street side vibe is unique. Worthwhile stop.

Good coffee and knowledgeable staff. Very tight space, but still a nice, warm atmosphere for hanging out and reading a book.

This shop was super close to our Zleep hotel right around the corner. They have a sign that says early bird special and caught my wife's eye that says get a croissant with a purchase of a coffee for only 5 DKK. She mistakenly read it as coffee and croissant for 5DKK but we realize we read the sign wrong or it would be too good to be true haha. It's ok. We went the next morning at 8:45am on a Saturday and this early bird special is only available for one hour from 8:30-9:30 Saturday Sunday or 7:30-8:30 Mon-Fri. Nice coffee shop. Barista was super nice. This place takes credit cards no problem. They have a few selection of pastries. We really like the croissants because they were super hot and fresh. Just baked right out of the oven with a nice fluffy bite into it. If your looking for super fancy latte art, not sure if this place is good at that. They do have a good interior seating and a nice section of outdoor seating as well. A coffee and a croissant came out to be around $5.75 USD for the early bird special is not too bad compared to NYC prices.

Going out to eat with him can be a difficult affair so we usually cook food ourselves. Although it looks like a regular coffee shop from outside, apparently almost everything served from pastry to brunch is vegan! The interior looks hip with high ceilings and huge windows. Too bad there isn't much to look at besides trash sitting outside an apartment. I started with an ice coffee (36 dkk) since it was such a warm morning. I requested it with soymilk and without syrup, which didn't cost any extra. Although I was sitting in the little room up the very narrow steps, the girl behind the counter brought my coffee over; it was refreshing and tasted fine. After my friends arrived, we all ordered the vegan brunch plate (99 dkk). Normally it comes with vegan "cheese" but they were out that day. Instead we got two spreads which I actually preferred, one beetroot and one hummus. Besides that it comes with scrambled tofu, arugula, soy yogurt with muesli and a strawberry, vegan "butter", a small pancake, a small roll, two small slices of seedy bread, some sort of ginger marmalade, and fresh fruit. The friend mentioned in the beginning of my review got a plate without muesli or the roll but apparently the other two small slices were gluten-free. Bri has a peanut allergy and the employees were happy to double-check if there were peanuts in anything. Everything was delicious, especially the spreads. I hope they will make that a regular option instead of the "cheese." Also the assorted fruits were fresh and well-ripened. I especially liked the half of passionfruit and the pineapple slices which were perfectly sweet. A lot of times you just get a slice of soggy melon and some soft grapes at other brunch places, which I hate. For a vegan brunch, this was great. I wish they had some other options though, like a "dirty brunch" with added fried potatoes and mushrooms versus this clean one. The service was good and the sandwich options as well as pastries tempted me, so I'd like to come back to try some other stuff. They also have free wifi and several outlets next to chairs so you can bring your laptop and get some work done.

The ingredients were all very fresh and the sandwich hit the spot. We also took some dessert to go, which was quite delicious. With their corner location (and outdoor seating), this is a fun place to watch people walk or cycle by.
