Great little coffee shop. Nice place to setup on your laptop or play cards with friends. Fairly small with 4 tables but we had no problem finding space.

Dropped off my bags at Central Station and was looking for a nice little place to have a traditional Danish breakfast. Oh, thanks Yelp for this recommendation - i found Risteriet and couldn't have been better. I arrived really early, and the place only had a table with a couple of teenagers. I ordered a combo that came with three slices of bread, cheese, marmalade, some granola and you could choose a hot drink. I tried to order the whole thing in a broken Danish, and obviously didn't work but the lady was really nice and without laughing understood my ordered and helped me out. Coffee was good, the ambience is quite comfy and they have free WiFi. Would totally recommend you comer here for a cup of nice coffee or to hang out reading a book.

This café and roastery offer the best espresso in CPN that I have found. RH also bake their own bread (flour provided by the illustrious and industrious danish chef, Claus Meyer) and serve it with meat and cheese in the mornings, or warm it up and serve it panini-style for lunch. The location is both a draw and detraction. Like Janice C., the hubs and I only had to travel a block from our hotel for a cuppa and some grub. This place is a boon for those staying and living in the area. There are a few shelters in the vicinity that help those in need, and, while that is a GREAT thing, it also meant that we were privy to a few scenes of very upsetting street behavior. A few of the kids there were really super friendly and handled our out-of-towner questions with aplomb. In addition to selling beans, R.H. sell a decent selection of coffee accoutrement for those that like to brew at home. Free WiFi

This quaint little coffee shop was next to my hotel. I ordered the latte which was super aromatic. The crema was basically oozing out the perfectly frothed milk. The pricing of the latte is quite expensive (around $5-6 USD) but for quality taste and craftsmanship, it is worth the money.

Loved the vibe. Great for coffee and a light breakfast! Came here since it was a block away from our hotel and had the breakfast platter. It was very filling. The latte was served in a little expresso glass which I thought was interesting. Bread and cheese were fresh and I liked the little yogurt with nuts and the jam. Would definitely be back!

An average cute cafe near the meat packing district. There is free wifi so you can find some loners at the window tables on their computers. On the bad side, the cafe does not have so many tables so be prepared for waiting for one or for squeezing in with others. The interior is quite rustic, which I liked. The walls are from bricks and there are small black lamps on top of every table. The coffee and warm chocolate that we had were good but again, I am not a coffee expert. I liked the music which was chilling and relaxing in the background. There was a good atmosphere in this cafe although it is halfway under the street level. The service was very friendly and fast and it seemed like a popular cafe on a Sunday afternoon. If you re in the area it's a good cafe to spend few hours at, but I don't think I would travel from another part of the city just to go there.

Excellent local coffee/breakfast bar for a simple but delicious starter of the day! Thumbs up for the hospitable and kind service Recommendation: the breakfast menu is one small but full plate with everything you need to start the day and a freshly grinded cappuccino or latte to accompany your kickstarter meal.

Ligth breakfast, yogurt and coffee.

First impression; please to grab a coffee on the run. Few tables if food is your purpose. Food, not many choices. Okey morning plate.. (breakfast). Good coffee! Helpful and friendly service :)

Within walking distance from our Airbnb, this place was a great find for breakfast. Friendly service and good coffee.

Awesome small, neighborhood coffee shop and breakfast/lunch cafe. The morning plate breakfast was the perfect way to start our day. We came here a couple of times while in Copenhagen. Friendly, fast service. Fresh foods. Reasonable prices. Definitely recommended!

This shop was super close to our Zleep hotel right around the corner. They have a sign that says early bird special and caught my wife's eye that says get a croissant with a purchase of a coffee for only 5 DKK. She mistakenly read it as coffee and croissant for 5DKK but we realize we read the sign wrong or it would be too good to be true haha. It's ok. We went the next morning at 8:45am on a Saturday and this early bird special is only available for one hour from 8:30-9:30 Saturday Sunday or 7:30-8:30 Mon-Fri. Nice coffee shop. Barista was super nice. This place takes credit cards no problem. They have a few selection of pastries. We really like the croissants because they were super hot and fresh. Just baked right out of the oven with a nice fluffy bite into it. If your looking for super fancy latte art, not sure if this place is good at that. They do have a good interior seating and a nice section of outdoor seating as well. A coffee and a croissant came out to be around $5.75 USD for the early bird special is not too bad compared to NYC prices.

The woman working inside spoke perfect English and made me an excellent oat milk latte with perfect foam (hard to do with oat milk). I also ordered the simple breakfast that had a nice, fairly dense biscuit and a homemade jam and butter as well as some great Swiss cheese. Finally, although vegan, the woman working here made me an absolutely PERFECT boiled egg, in my opinion. Wonderfully creamy on the inside, but not runny, and a perfectly cooked white. Bravo! Stop in for a coffee or pastry, you won't regret it.

Absolutely no regrets as this was definitely the best breakfast I had during my trip to Copenhagen. This quaint coffee shop was filled with good vibes and extremely unique decor. Seriously! It had tools on the walls, a motorcycle, and it just overall felt warm and inviting. Most of the patrons (minus of me of course) were locals and I could tell this was also their go-to spot. There was only one employee there at the time, but he was super patient and super chill. There's honestly no other way I can accurately depict his energy! I ordered a breakfast plate that came with a freshly baked roll, cheese, jam, butter and an egg (cooked in a way of your choosing) and it also came with coffee (however you liked it as well)! I opted for a soft-boiled egg and an oat milk latte. First off, the roll was SO soft and delicious. The oat milk latte was super creamy and didn't have any remnants of "burnt coffee" taste. It was perfection. Also, I must mention that the egg was cooked perfectly! Getting a well-cooked soft-boiled egg can often be a challenge but he was able to achieve at Petrol! All in all, I really enjoyed my visit to Petrol. It was the cherry on top to my trip and it helped start my final day in the city to a great start. Definitely would return during a future visit to Copenhagen. Thanks so much, Petrol! You're truly a gem.

Food - 5 Service - 5…read moreValue - 5 Great spot for lunch in Copenhagen. Get here early if you want to order the special of the day or they may run out! We arrived at 1 PM on Friday and they were already sold out of the roasted pork. We ended up ordering the Chicken/Bacon/Avocado sandwich and the Chicken/Chili/Cheese sandwich and then debated on whether to get the berry smoothie (but some folks sitting nearby eating sold us on how great the smoothie was -- and they were right!). The sandwiches had good flavor and we ended up splitting each one -- which gave us some variety for our lunch. There isn't a lot of seating available here, so if your hotel is within walking distance here, I'd recommend taking it to go and then eating in the hotel lobby/courtyard. That's what my wife and I ended up doing.
