When I arrived, the check-in process was easy and done on an iPad, again explained by Brian. The owner replied below, but I have no idea why she inserted that she is a minority as that has zero to do with my review. How odd to use your ethnicity status as a reply to a potential customer's poor experience with your company. She was more concerned with emphasizing that I am not a patient (which, I never would be after my experience with them), instead of addressing my complaint in my review which was related to the encounter I had with her rude staff member from the second I walked in the door to the fact that I had to email multiple times in order to get a response from them. They were honest, professional, and patient while I picked out my new frames. Doc is super friendly and helpful; I've only had good eye doctors but he may be the best I've had. Today an assistant did all the routine stuff like eye chart,glacoma test etc. I usually don't like assistants doing what I think the Dr should be. However,in this case, it felt ok and she did a great job. In addition, she did a test that maps your retina, which id never had done before. For those who dont know this is essentially a picture of the internal components of your eye. The reason they presented for this valuable test is, it can show early signs of problems and treatment can be implemented to make things better. It was optional but, I opted in and am glad I did. Dr, Harris then came in and reviewed the assistant's results, did a few checks himself, explained things and I was done. He is a very thorough and personable optometrist. I had to return to the store five separate times because of repeated mistakes with the measurements for my progressive and Transitions lenses. Despite multiple visits, the issues were never resolved correctly. What made this experience even more difficult is that I have mobility challenges. Every visit required a great deal of physical effort from both me and my husband, who had to push my wheelchair just so we could return to the store and clarify the ongoing problems. This was physically exhausting and emotionally draining. Most of the problems began with Kimberly. She made repeated errors from the start and recommended polarized lenses without taking the time to properly review whether they were appropriate for my vision needs. I trusted her professional advice, believing she had carefully considered what was best for my eyes. When Connie became involved, I hoped the situation would finally be corrected. Unfortunately, the measurements and service were still not accurate, and the problems continued. Throughout this process, my husband had to take on the responsibility of carefully reviewing every detail, asking repeated questions, and making sure everything was correct because we had lost confidence in the accuracy of the work being performed. In addition, I was disappointed by the way Kimberly spoke to my husband. Her attitude was unprofessional and discourteous, which only added to an already stressful situation. In the end, we accepted a full refund because the problems were never resolved. While we appreciate receiving our money back, it does not make up for the time, physical effort, stress, and inconvenience we endured over the course of five visits. We invested significant time and energy trying to resolve these issues, only to leave without a satisfactory outcome.
