She mentioned that it was her favorite store and an absolute "must visit" whenever she was in the area. Well, after stepping foot inside, I immediately understood why she felt that way. The shop was so meticulously curated with all kinds of unique gifts that you would not find anywhere else. These were not cheesy Asbury souvenirs, but expertly crafted pieces to display in your home, to wear as accessories, to give to your pet, and so much more. We both purchased several items that caught our eyes and made sure to praise the selection when talking to the cashier. I will definitely be adding this to my own "must visit" list going forward.

The item we got my wife called ahead for and asked if they can hold it for a day and they were willing to do that. Which was very nice because when you have a newborn it reminds me of the Steinbeck quote. The plans of mice and Men often go awry and we just couldn't make it there the day she saw the items she wanted. The woman behind the counter was super friendly and a pleasure to interact with. All in all we really like the store for a number of reasons. Outside of getting a great deal, another big concern of ours is the textile waste and product plastic waste from getting new toys, clothing and baby items. They often outgrow them quickly and while the items may be small when you're constantly buying new contribute to landfills. Shopping at consignment shops like this are a great way to help combat that by making sure gently used goods don't end up in the garbage. If you are mad because they wouldn't take your stuff, one of two things is likely true. One, your stuff is not as good as you think it is. Two, you did not read ahead to find out what items they are currently taking. Remember, you are giving them things you do not want. Don't be so arrogant to assume that anyone else will, let alone someone who would like to sell them. The truth is that this is a great store, particularly for sports related items and winter gear.
