The owner was amazing, actually he was our hero. My flight was delayed with the arrival time pushing out from 11pm to 2am. I would have been stranded bec Enterprise car rental at GSO has no service for after hour car pick up and there's no alternative transportation available at that time. No other service was open or available. When I called Prompt Limo service and the owner said he would be there for us. Without complaint and super friendly service at 2:30am! It was not a planned pick up but he went out of the way to see us safely to the hotel. He also helped me in a pinch bec I had to go back to the GSO Enterprise before a certain time the next morning. So I was a little worried about my ride from Greensboro airport to Winston Salem, because there were very little options, and whatever I found online, I wasn't sure if it was reliable. I found Fred online, and through a very easy phone call, we scheduled the pick up it was very helpful that I could pay directly online through PayPal. When I landed in Greensboro, I had a text message that he wasn't feeling well, and that Shahpour was going to pick us up instead. I was still a little worried but right before baggage claim, we saw him with a sign with my name on it. He immediately offered to help get the suitcases, and then go get the car. Shahpour was great. Not only was he very helpful, but also the car was great and very clean. The ride was great and we had a nice conversation. Also the fare was really good! Which makes it even better. I am so happy I found them because now I have a reliable way of getting from Greensboro to Winston Salem and I don't have to lose sleep over that anymore. Had a very last second need for a ride from GSO to Elon for my daughter. Called Mr. Fred and he turned around and went to pick her up to get her back to campus. He was very thoughtful (told her to text her parents as soon as she got in the car) and was kind and personable for her to ride with. She enjoyed her time with him and said she would be sharing his contact info with all her girlfriends for safe rides He was cheaper than Lyft or Uber (which were not available anyway), even with a nice tip. "Mr. Fred" is indeed prompt, personable, and accommodating. He even has a master's degree and speaks several languages. His prices are very reasonable, and the van we traveled in was well-maintained and clean. Be sure to call at least thirty minutes ahead, especially if staying at a remote hotel as I did. I don't even know where to begin. My daughter was a student at Elon University and I was in need of a driver to get her to Charlotte airport multiple times throughout the school year. I found Mr. Fred online. He arrived promptly and provided excellent service. Through the years Mr. Fred became a friend of the family because he would text to let me know she arrived and would totally be flexible with any last minute changes. In the four years of driving my daughter they became friends and would chat most of the way to the airport. If she had excess luggage he would assist her in getting it on a dolly. It was like having a member of your family taking your student to and from the airport. At this year's graduation we hired Mr. Fred to transport us to dinner in Greensboro so we finally had the chance to meet in person. He was so excited about our daughter's graduation. When he took my daughter to CLT later in the week he bid her a farewell and wished her success. If you need a driver, he is your man. Prompt customer service and just a lovely person. "Mr. Fred" is outstanding and has always been "prompt", courteous, and is very reasonable in pricing. My staff and students love using his services. The cars are clean, well-kept, and comfortable. We have used Prompt Transportation Services twice now to transport my son to Wake Forest University from the Greensboro airport. When making the latest reservation, I was very surprised after a full year to have "Mr. Fred" remember our previous reservation. You don't see customer service like that any more. Better yet is the actual service. Going back to school after the winter break, my son's flight was canceled, stranding him in Washington, DC. I had to cancel the car pick up reservation with only a couple of hours to spare, which was not a problem. Then my son got a chance to hop on a last minute flight which got in late, so once again, he needed a ride to school. Mr. Fred rolled with the punches, picked my son up and delivered him to school. He even sent me an email to let me know my son had arrived safely. Thanks Mr. Fred! Service like this is invaluable, but I will note that Prompt Transportation Services is very reasonable. Mr. Fred will also let students ride share and split the cost of the town car to the airport. It is an excellent value for the quality of service! read more

We emailed Fred at Prompt Transportation Services on a Saturday asking if transportation was available on Sunday at 9PM for our daughter. She needed a ride from Greensboro Airport to Wake Forest University. He quickly responded by email that he had transportation for the date and time we requested. We just needed to fill out his on line reservation form. We immediately did and submitted the form. The next morning we had not received any confirmation from Fred so we emailed again requesting confirmation. He informed us that the online reservation form was not received and we should re-submit it. We again immediately sent the form and let Fred know we did. Once again we had to contact him to see if he received the online form. He did not and requested that we send him our daughter's travel details by email Since she was now on her flight, we decided it would be best to just call him directly and provide the information. When we made that call, Fred informed us that he no longer had a driver available. At no time during any of our communications did Fred indicate that if he did not recieve the registration form (and payment) he would not honor our transportation request. His lack of courtesy and professionalism left us scrambling to find transportation for our daughter so she would not be stranded at the airport at 9PM. I see from previous reviews others have received better service from Fred. Perhaps his level of service depends upon how busy he is. He certainly had no interest in provided service to our daughter. We have used ABC Transportation in the past in we go back to using them. read more
