When following turn by turn…read moreinstructions, make sure you keep your head up so you don't turn into the wrong establishment ( like I did ). Drive through the blue gate to the private parking lot. Once you enter, you're greeted by one of the seasoned and knowledgeable staff members. You can tell that they're used to seeing regulars, but they'll "gun talk" with you, until you're blue in the face if you want. Pricing is much fairer here than other places (see pic). I brought my own guns and ammunition to shoot, but they have a nice selection of firearms to rent if you aren't a connoisseur ;) There's ear covers and goggles (complimentary and required) if you did not bring your own. It is a pretty "tight" place, but the stalls (4/per room) are spacious enough to shoot and reload. I love the digital target screen that allows you to adjust the distance of your target (see pic). Minus the men folk using the ladies room (put the seat down plz -_- lol ). This place is very solid.

As I started investigating more, how fun! What a fun event to find out about! This was the first of many from what I understand for fly fishing in the DFW area! The event met so many on different levels! Booths, volunteers, presentations, fly fishing competitions, classes, live music, awards to fun in the park! Who wouldn't love this? Great for the community, venders, volunteers, fly fishing competitors, and fly fishing enthusiasts! I love the fact that so many locals came out to help support local vendors and the event! To add to the review were a few photos of the event, but what was truly nice was how the so many of the locals loved the event! I hope this event continues annually for years to come! It was great for the whole area! My thoughts, I loved the event! Thank you all that helped out, well done! I can not wait till next years event!

It's a little bit of a windy road to get to it if you go to the back way like I did. There is some beautiful views of the lake on a couple of the terms you also might want to take a nap because my granddaughter and I almost got lost. She also tried to kill me by forcing me up this very steep hill. All in all, it's a great place and I can't wait to return. This time of year is great for watching the sunset.

Lots of pretty views along the trails…read more Speaking of the trails, they are definitely made for mountain bikers, but there were a couple of other couples hiking like us. The trails are rocky & hilly, so if you are hiking, do so in good shoes. I kept slipping in my regular gym shoes, but it was pretty and fun. We didn't stay very long because we came during the latter part of the day. It was our first time here and since we are unfamiliar with the trails, we didn't want to get "lost." We will definitely be back to explore this park more.

Challenging to all skill levels, but different layouts are available on UDisc. I generally prefer the amateur/intermediate layout. Watch out for the rough hazards! Especially on the holes that tempt you with big downhill shots! Keep a positive attitude especially if it's your first few rounds here. It'll take at least 12x to play this course effectively. That's why I love the sport! Definitely the best rural course besides Lester lorch. Super nice for those wanting to do some nice hiking. I usually hike it pretty fast, getting a nice work out i between.

This is a fun 2.5 mile hike (5 miles round trip) that takes you from just outside of Old Town on…read morethe west side of I-35W to a neighborhood on the east side. You'll walk through hundreds of trees, along a creek, past Hidden Creek Golf Course, under the freeway, through an open field with lots of wild flowers and birds, through a cemetery and an industrial area, winding through a residential neighborhood, more woods, and finally ending up at a kids playground on the other side. Dogs are welcome and cyclists will enjoy not fighting with cars for a while and both ends of the trail have bike lanes and parking lots. There are two water stations along the trail and one of them in the middle near the cemetery has water for your dog. There are distance markers at every quarter-mile to track your progress.

This is a full service horse boarding facility with a very nice group of employees and boarders. The facility puts on riding events and children's camps as well. Wyatt has a nice, indoor, stall with daily turnout into a nice pasture. They also have an awesome, half covered, arena which is open to boarders to use.
