My mother is owed money ( reimbursement ) So I called the 800 number today to Allstate, her policy is showing active. SHAME on you GILBERT SERNA for not taking care of this months ago. My mother was with ALLSTATE for over 25 years with a different agent, who recently retired ( the lovely JOSE GARZA, who always took care of his customers) , then GILBERT SANCHEZ took over. POOR customer service, what a shame. GILBERT!!!!!! get this fixed NOW!! policy number 829214180 policy name is RAUL MENDEZ, MY NUMBER 210-669-2222 GILBERT, you are disgrace to ALLSTATE and its good name, shame on you for not taking care of my parents. Since I did not have experience selecting policies, Becky was patient and very responsive to my questions. She went through the different kinds of coverages, explaining each selection, helping me to understand the coverage that I wanted. With her help, my home and auto were custom to my needs. I never felt pressured to make any decision and had options. Becky was professional, friendly, and patient and even helped me get the declaration papers I needed from AAA so that I could qualify for the best policy rates. Karla gave me great customer service this morning. The…read moreprevious day, I was sent a cancellation notice, it was beyond business hours so I had it in mind to call in the AM. I called and called for 30 minutes off and on. Frantic, I finally drove there. The reason for no one answering the phones was very apparent, there are help wanted signs all over the front windows. Karla was the only one to arrive 10 minutes later. Upon showing her my letter, she looked up my account and said an agent had not properly signed the forms. I did not think it fair my policy was in danger of getting cancelled because of an insurance agent's ineptitude. She agreed and fixed it and put a call into underwriting. We discussed the help wanted signs and other insurance information. If you are bilingual, friendly and sharp, please consider applying...they advertise Top-dollar for your skills. The office staff is wonderful. They helped us with the claims process because the claims department…read morewas a nightmare. They were very receiptive and understanding. More so, they went out of their way to explain things and personally contacted the claims department because we weren't going anywhere trying to deal with them ourselves. Do I recommend State Farm? That's on the fence. If the poor service is continuous, then absolutely not. It was a nightmare and that's no understatement. It wasn't the agent's fault. The agent and staff did everything they were supposed to do and then some. It's unfortunate that the claims department made the entire experience suffer. Hopefully we won't have any use for claims in the future. They were that bad. Awful. I could go on and on but I won't. I would give the claims experience a big fat zero. Terry Randle's office was exemplary and they are the only reason we are continuing with the policies. State Farm as a whole needs to do better. The office staff gets 5 stars. The staff is not aware of the correct information for the products they offer. They are rude and condescending and never on the same page with each other. They will tell you one thing and when you correct them on it they will deny what they initially said. I have been through it with this agency. I can't tell you enough to go to a different State Farm where they actually know what they are talking about and they know how to explain things without tiptoeing around the actually information. Hannah is very rude and needs her license reviewed. I've moved to a new State Farm agency where it is absolutely a 180 difference. Do yourself a favor and RUN. I will say that I do feel bad for Mr Randall, he has these folks operated his agency in this manner. I can only imagine how many other people they have misinformed. If you absolutely need to use this agency speak to Mr Randall directly.

This agency is a rip off! My 80 year old mom went in person to get liabilty. She got home and found…read morea better insurance rate with Progressive and immediately called to cancel, the operator told her she would have to go in person the next day to cancel. She goes the next day has a letter written to cancel effective immediately. She paid $224 for the policy with her debit card and was told by the agency that her refund would be sent to her bank account. That took place on Dec 2. On Dec 26 we returned to the agency and inquired where the refund was. They told me that their insurance company "Connect" would be the ones to issue the refund, they tried calling but that office was closed so the Freeway agent told us to call them tomorrow and gave me their phone #. She also told us that the refund would be $90 less than the original $224 because that $90 was their agent fee. I explained the policy was not even in effect for 24 hours and she said it didn't matter. Again telling me to call "Connect" their headquarters. I called the next day and spoke to a man who told me that they had not issued a refund as of yet. When I asked why, I was told that everything takes time. In addition to that he said that a check would be mailed to my mother but when I asked why not refunded back to the debit card I was told they couldn't do that?! So they can charge but not refund. How does that make any sense. Then he proceeds to tell me that the refund is going to be $54!!!!!!!! Out of $224 with 1 day prorated in addition to their "own" agent fee of $80!!!!! It's absolutely ridiculous that one company portrays as Freeway charging their $90 agent fee, then their headquarters portray as Connect Insurance and charge an additional agent fee of $80. My mother tried canceling this policy an hour after it was issued and NO ONE told her she would be paying agent fees. She was told she would be refunded $224 minus 1 day of insurance (which she was willing to pay) even though it was only for 1 hour. In the end, my mom is still waiting for a check to arrive via snail mail for a 75% loss. Warning for all ****GO WITH A MORE REPUTABLE insurance company!
